Today's post is a card I made for my 2nd finally Friday challenge over @ Two Peas. The challenge was to use a pattern paper meant for something & use it for something else. This patterned paper came from the "Safari Kids" stack from DCWV. Clearly this paper was meant for "kids" but I decided to turn it into a "Love" card. All cardstock, punch, ribbon & sentiment is from Stampin up. The cute rinestones I put on the 2 monkeys came from Michael's. I thought this card came out pretty cute! Good morning! Tomorrow morning I will be hosting another cricut class & we will be working with the "Paper Dolls" cartridge! BTW, this is one of my favorites! These are the 3 items the ladies will be making! I love these classes in particular because not everybody has the time to be creative especially if you own a cricut. This gives the ladies an opportunity to bring their cricuts to my class & they actually get to use this wonderful machine (w/o any interruptions :)!) It's hard sometimes when you're @ home trying to create because you have kids, dogs/cats, husbands running around asking you for everything! I know many of you out there know exactly what I'm talking about! :) Anyways, the 1st picture @ the top is an 8x8 scrapbook page, I love the lipstick & nail polish which I used crystal effects to make them shiny ~ the 2nd picture is a baby card, the sailboat was cut out using DCWV paper & last but not least is our "Hero" party treat bag ~ I thought this came out adorable! All paper for this project is from stampin up! Well I hope you enjoyed today's post~ Please feel free to leave a comment & have a wonderful day!!

I used pink felt & ran it through my cuttlebug using a flower die cut from sizzix, the button & sentiment is from PTI & all cardstock, scalloped punch used is from stampin up! I had fun with this one, Thanks Robyn for the inspiration on creating my own embellishments, you have no idea of how many different ideas I have going through my head right now!! :) If you like what you see, please feel free to leave a comment ;) Thank you!

Today's post is a challenge from The Pink Stamper http://www.mypinkstamper.com/! She is celebrating one millions hits on her blog-whooohooo! She is having a challenge everyday this week to celebrate. The 1st challenge was to use a wheel from Stampin up. This was a little rough because it has been a while since I've used any of my wheels so of course & had to search for them!! I finally found them & I decided to use the "polka dot blocks" wheel using lovely lilac ink, which BTW this wheel used to be my fave! I stamped little spiders from a PTI stamp set in all the boxes. The sentiment is also from PTI. All cardstock & DSP is from stampin up, I used doodlecharms cricut cartridge for the spider! I hope you enjoy this & please feel free to leave a comment!
