Thrifty Thursday

GOOD MORNING my creative friends! Welcome to a brand new segment on my blog called "Thrifty Thursday"!  I was EXCITED for this one! We decided we would alternate the Thursdays in between the challenges! This is how it works, we have to make a project using "SCRAPS" that could be on our craft table or some scraps you have stashed away!  I think I cheated because I actually used a brand new yellow "jute"! oooops...Sorry! I didn't realize it until I was already done w/my card! But everything else were scraps, I promise you! lol.....

For the DAD sentiment, I added some black stickles.
The DAD sentiment along w/the sentiment below, they are from "Here's Lookin at You" stamp set!

Here is the inside of my card! I also used some more scraps from the Teresa Collins "Now & Then" 6x6 pad along w/a scrap of Vanilla cardstock!  The sentiment from "100% Sweetness" stamp set.

Here is my video for you today!

Now onto my FABULOUS design team! Don't forget to click on each of their names to visit their blogs & leave them some L-O-V-E!;)

3-D Wednesday~ box or container

GOOD MORNING & welcome to another 3-D Wednesday! I hope you are ALL sitting down w/your coffee OR whatever your favorite morning drink, because you are not going to want to take your eyes off your computer this morning! My design team has some FABULOUS 3-D projects for you today, like always! For my project today, I created this super little purse using my "Lollipop holder Die" ! I just LOVE LOVE LOVE this die because not only can it make a GREAT lollipop holder, but you can ALSO turn it into a cute little treat purse! As you can see I add some nuggets & 3 of them fit perfectly! I put the nuggets into a 3x4 size bag & closed it up using a twist tie!

To make the handle of the purse, I used my stampin up 1" punch.....isn't this the CUTEST EVER???  I explained in my video below how I did this!

Supplies I used:
~ Stitched Lollipop Die (will be back in stock on Feb 4th)
~ Chocolate Greetings (sentiment & banner)

Scrapping the Little Things

GOOD MORNING my creative friends & welcome to another "Scrappin the Little Things"! Well, I hope you ALL had a FABULOUS weekend because I SURE DID!;) My Dad's 84th birthday was last week on the 23rd, but my family got together & celebrated it this past weekend! Can I just say that I have the BESTEST family EVERRRR! Every time we get together, we have the BEST time together & it is simply "PRICELESS"! We ALWAYS look forward to the next function! There is NOTHING BETTER than "family".....simply the BEST!
Okay, for my project today, I decided to do a "Smashbook" page! I just LOVE doing these because there are simply "NO RULES".....just have FUN! Had FUN making this, is EXACTLY what I did!  If you are my facebook friend, then many of you have seen this picture already! Not only did my Dad get birthday presents, but we ALL did as well! My sister surprised us w/aprons made out of all of my Dad's older shirts! We were ALL genuinely surprised AND touched because now we all have a little something that is sentimental that belonged to my Dad! This was the bEST idea EVERRR & I was VERY PROUD of my sister for doing this for all of us!

Here, I used my "Gift Card Holder Die" for a little pocket! You can see in my video below exactly what I put in this cute pocket!;)

Supplies I used:
~ Whimsical Calendar
~ Build a Banner (will be back in stock next week)
~ Cherish this moment
~ Just Simply Live
~ All Around Birthday Time
~ Stitched Scallop Heart Die
~ XL Stitch Label Die
~ XL Label Die

Designer Challenge-- Liz Munoz "1, 2, 3 Challenge"

Hi Paper Lovers, it's Liz from Liz's Paper Loft!
Welcome to My Creative Time's Designer Challenge, I'm so thrilled and excited to be this week's Designer!
For the challenge I wanted to keep things simple, you know like 1, 2, 3!  So that's exactly what it is...use 1 bow, 2 pattern papers, and 3 buttons!  How much simpler can it get?  Well as simple as it seems, it was a bit challenging to do...at least for me!  lol!

I really wanted to use another pattern paper, but I couldn't go against the rules (lol) so I used my Sizzix folder for the hexagons!  For the "hi" I used Lowercase Fun Letters and the flowers were made with felt and Flower Petal Dies.
Some hemp for the buttons and seam binding ribbon on the tag complete this challenge!  Oh I did do a little sewing too!

For the complete receipe you can head over to my blog!

Enjoy!

Now here is the rest of the girls with their FABBIE projects!

Miss Veronica

Last, but not least, here is my card for you today!
Today, I made this card for a bloggy friend who needs some support at this time! I was VERY HAPPY w/this challenge because it was a FUN & Easy one!;) You can see in my video below exactly how I put my card together!
Here is the inside of the card! I was going to put a "Thinking of You" sentiment, but I thought this sentiment from "Pain Pain Go Away" was more fitting!
here's a close up! I just LOVE how this card came out! You can just see all of the beautiful stitching on my "Flower Petals" & the beautiful embossing on my "Envelope"!
Supplies used for my card:
~ Flower Petal Die
~ Happy Mail stamp set
~ Embossed envelope die
~ Pain Pain Go Away stamp set (inside sentiment)
~ Green thick hemp
~ Kraft thin hemp
~ American Kraft "With Love" 6x6 pad (Target)

Here is my video for you today!
