Thoughtful Thursday "Behind every cloud is a silver lining!"

Good morning my creative friends! Today we are featuring something new on my blog. It is called "Thoughtful Thursday".  We thought it would be fun to have a day for us to make a card for someone to cheer them up, congratulate someone, happy birthday....or just simply "just because"! I know we all make cards everyday, but this is perfect to make something for someone "specific" that you've been wanting to send a card to, but never had time! I have a friend who is having a hard time right now, so I just want to remind her that "Behind every cloud is a silver lining"! I decided to make a tag instead of a card today.

In my video below, you can see how I put this together.  I was so happy to finally get to use my canvas & adhesive cork 12x12 sheets that I picked up from Hobby Lobby!  I used the cork paper to cut out my tag & I used the canvas to cut out my clouds. I also used some silver paper to cut another set of clouds to place behind the canvas clouds.  I decided at the last minute to add a Tim Holtz "hinge clip" to the bigger cloud.

Here is my tag in its entirety! I had the worst time trying to get a good picture, but they all came out bad:( But it REALLY IS much PRETTIER in real life! ;)

Supplies I used:
~ Tag Die (will be back in stock this weekend Mar 2nd)

Here is my video for you today!

Now onto my FABULOUS design team! Click on each of their names to visit each blog & leave them some LOVE!;)

I hope you were inspired to make someone a card & send it off to them today! THank you so much for stopping by! Have a FABULOUS day my sweet friends! xoxo

3D Wednesday

GOOD Morning my creative friends! Are you all ready for another 3-D Wednesday? I hope you are because we have some super CUTE projects to share today! First, before I get started, I was a little upset because I had actually "Thought" I was recording this video from beginning to end, but my camera was on "pause" the entire time:( I was so proud of myself too because I hadn't did a project from beginning to end in a long time! I apologize....I tried! I was able to video the end of it & I also give you all an update on orders in my video too!  Today I made this super CUTE coloring book /doodling pad w/some chip board coasters. I have had these circle coasters FOREVER & totally forgot about them, so sorry I can't remember where I picked them up from:(  If you google "circle chipboard coasters", I am sure you will find them!

In my video below I explain how I put this together! It is super easy & they would make the PERFECT Easter basket stuffers!;)  For the inside, I even had these little papers already cut out, so I used them for my pages. The 2 sentiments I used are from my set called "Color Me Happy"! The cute bunny is from "Happy Hunting". I even stamped a little message on the inside.

I explain in my video how I was able to make my banner a little shorter to fit my sentiment PERFECTLY!;) I barely colored him because I kinda wanted your eyes to focus on his SPARKLY Easter egg he was coloring!;) I first colored the egg w/a white color pencil, then added some clear chunky glitter!

The cute pattern paper was "Walnut Grove" 6x6 paper pad by Pebbles which you can get HERE at "Liz's Paper Loft Boutique"! I stamped the cute bunny onto my "just tags" die, I added the clouds in the background & just layered everything on top, then finished it off w/some May Arts ribbon.

Here is my video for you today!

Now onto my AMAZING design team! I hope you enjoy what you see & don't forget to visit each of their blogs & leave them some LOVE. ;)

I hope you all were inspired today!

UPDATE ON ORDERS:
As I mentioned in my video, I've been in touch w/my "DIE" manufacturer & UNFORTUNATELY they are running behind on ALL orders:(  I was told that I should have EVERYTHING in by the 9th OR 10th of March! So, if you were one of the many who placed your orders AFTER 5pm PST on Friday, Feb 15th, we were already sold out of all of the new release. :( I apologize for the inconvenience, I "WISH" I had more control of it because I know so many of you are waiting patiently.  But I promise as soon as those dies ring my doorbell, we are going to do a "Marathon" of packing everything up & getting ALLL your orders out ASAP! THANK YOU ALWAYS SOOO VERY much for making this release a huge success & I promise this release is seriously "worth the wait";)

Thank you for visiting me & have a FABULOUS day my sweet friends! xoxo

Scrapping the Little Things

GOOD MORNING & welcome to another "Scrapping the little things"! I hope you ALL had a GREAT weekend! Well, today I was happy to do a few pages in my smashbook! If I haven't mentioned before, I absolutely LOVE my smashbook because there are simply "NO RULES"! You can make these pages as simple OR more detail AND you can basically smashbook ANYTHING! When I first got my smashbook, I really wanted to document the little things that mean the MOST to me. I know, you are probably saying, "Why is she showing old Easter 2010 pics?" Why, it's because I just LOVE that my boys also appreciate the "little things" in life, just like their Mommy & Daddy! We can do something as simple as cook an AWESOME meal & watch a movie & at the end of the night, they say "That was FUN Mommy"!
I just HAD to smashbook these pictures because.....I just HAD to!;) This particular year "2010", Easter ALMOST didn't happen because the "Easter Bunny" was SOOOO SICK!:(  I remember I was in bed w/a fever & I had told the boys, "I heard the Easter Bunny was sick too!" & they said, "It's okay Mommy, the Easter Bunny has a BIG job & I am sure all the kids will forgive him if he doesn't visit any houses tonight!" OKAY, now how can you NOT come alive and do something, because that right there... was simply "priceless"! When the boys woke up Easter morning, they peeked in the backyard really slow & started yelling "Mommy, Daddy, the Easter Bunny DID come, poor guy, I hope he doesn't get more sick!"! Let's just say that I had 2 of the HAPPIEST boys on Easter morning! Just seeing those BEAUTIFUL smiles on their ADORABLE faces simple made my heart HAPPY!

Okay, onto my pages, for the title, I used my "Lower Case Fun Dies" (which I LOVE!). Of course, I had to use my new "Doily Dies" on BOTH pages along w/my Egg Dies from my "Hello Spring" stamp set! Both of the sentiments are from another easter/spring set called "Happy Hunting". The little banners I stamped the sentiments onto are from the "Vintage Label Dies". That green crinkly paper I actually had FOREVER in my stash & I finally used it! lol....

As you can see, I used more doilies and that cute tiny bunny coloring his Easter egg is also from "Happy  Hunting"! I used the number stamps from "Follow Your Dreams".

I tuck my cute little tag from "Just Tags" & stamped the little bunny from "Hello Spring" & drew lines on there myself for journaling. Then I just staple some green ribbon to it!  Isn't it the CUTEST journaling card ever? hehehe! I love it!

For today, my design team & I were all to use our new "Jar Dies" somewhere on our pages! I decided to stamp that bunny from "Happy Hunting" and add a piece of the doily to it to give it a different look & I LOVE how it turned out! I just glued the doily exactly where I wanted it, then cut off the excess. Again, the egg dies are from "Hello Spring" & the sentiment is from "Happy Hunting"!

All the papers I used were ALL from my SCRAPS!!! YEP, I was VERY PROUD of myself that I was able to make so many different papers actually "LOOK LIKE" they went together!;)

Now onto my FABULOUS design team. Don't forget to visit their blogs & leave them some L-O-V-E!

I hope you were ALL inspired to scrap something today! Don't forget we also have a NEW "FUN" challenge going on HERE! I  hope to see lots of you playing along~!

Thank you for stopping by & have a GREAT day my sweet friends! xoxo

Designer Challenge-- Nancy

Hello MCT Peeps! Its Nancy here and it's my turn to pick a challenge! Since I'm the Smashy gal in the group, I had to make it a smashy kind of challenge. I wanted to incorporate a memento, or keepsake into our project. Pull out those ticket stubs or recipets you have been saving and make a layout, card or smash page! I love saving these little mementos because you will have something to look back at years down the road! I still have some old baseball tickets from 1996! Im so glad I kept those!

For my project, I used the Lowercase Fun Dies for my title. I added a Tag Die for my hidden journaling. This is a picture of me and the hubby on our date night. I took a menu brochure with me as we left the restaurant! :) I just love how this turned out!
