Thoughtful Thursday 3/28

GOOD MORNING my creative friends & welcome to another "Thoughtful Thursday"! On this day, my AWESOME design team & myself create a variety of cards to "actually" send to someone!;) I know that I am horrible about mailing out cards, but NOW, I am forced to & I LOVE it!;)
For my card today, I made a baby card for a friend of mine! Instead of using baby (pastel) colors, I stuck w/bright colors instead! I also got to play w/one of my older sets called "All Star Baby". As you can see, this is just a SIMPLE card & I love how it came out.:)

Here is the inside of the card where I added an extra piece of cardstock to make a pocket for the gift card & sewed it on!

Here is my video for you today!;)

Now onto my AWESOME design team! :)

Well, I hope you were inspired to make a card & sent it off to that someone who needs their spirits lifted, someone who had a baby, birthday, new job....etc......!;)

Don't forget to click on each design team member to visit each of their blogs & leave them some LOVE.:)

Thank you so much for visiting! Have a FABULOUS day. xoxo

P.S. Don't forget to join in on our latest "TIC TAC TOE" challenge we have going on right HERE!

3-D Wednesday! 3/27

GOOD MORNING my creative friends & welcome to another "3-D Wednesday"! Today we ALL have some AMAZING projects for you...so just kick back, relax & enjoy!;)
For my projects today, I whipped up these 3 party favors OR small gifts in NO TIME AT ALL using my Stitched Doily Die! While I was sitting here brainstorming about what I wanted to do today, all of the sudden, this idea came to my brain....and I LOVE how all 3 of them turned out!

You can basically make these for ANY & EVERY occassion out there! If you want my video below, you can see exactly how fast you can mass produce these! So what I did here, I kinda made a variety for you! The favor above can be for wedding/shower OR you can just simply put it on a gift for someone!
This one below, I toned it down TONS & just added an initial for the birthday! You don't want to get to crazy w/some for the children because they are just going to rip them open anyway! LOL.....

Like I mentioned in my video, I have used TONS of my older 6x6 paper pads that I RARELY use anymore! This favor below, I just place the Stithed Doily Die over exactly where I wanted it & BAM, you have a super cute costom favor! ;) You can ALSO use these to put on top of your loved ones gifts!;)

Supplies used:
~ 3 different papers from my stash

Here is my video for you today! :)

Now onto my FABULOUS design team! Click on each of their names to visit their blogs! :)

Scrapping the little things!

HAPPY MONDAY my creative friends! I hope you all had a FABULOUS weekend! For me, it was full of BASEBALL FUN!!! Yep, I just LOVE watching my boys play!;)
Welcome to another "Scrapping the little things", for my page today, I decided to do a page in my smashbook. Remember I had mentioned that I wanted to create "memorable" pages in this book? I do have to say that BOTH of my boys having a 4.0 this year would DEFINITELY be a "memorable moment" in my book! :) My husband & I TOTALLY feel like VERY PROUD parents!

I'm not sure if you can see this or now, but I layered my pictures onto the tag die using some of the paper from  Fancy Pants school . Basically, everything you see is from that set & the "Scrabble Tiles" are from Liz's paperloft boutique!

Supplies I used:
~ Washi tape from Target

Now onto my FABULOUS design team! ;)

I hope you all enjoyed what you've seen here today! I hope you are inspired to do a little "scrapping" too! ;)
Have a FABULOUS day & I will see you all back here soon! xoxo

Designer Challenge ~ Miss Kim 3/21

Good morning! This is Kim here. I am so excited to be hosting this Designer Challenge for My Creative Time! Emma is so sweet to allow us DT's to take over her blog! Thanks Emma!
So for this time around I have decided to do a Tic~Tac~Toe Challenge! All you have to do is pick a row from the chart below (vertical, horizontal or diagonal) and incorporate those three items on your project! You are free to use anything in addition, just be sure the three items in the row you chose is included! I would also like to give a shout out & big thanks to Miss Shar ~ she made the chart in word for me!
So I looked at my choices from the chart and decided to do the first horizontal row. I of course used my FAVORITE dies (and stamps) out there ~ My Creative Time. They can be used for so many different projects, plus they have Emma's signature stitching!
I decided to dry and heat emboss on my card. I used a Cuttlebug folder for my dry emboss and inked it up with some chalk. Then I heat embossed the little house and wagon. The house is from the stamp set "Home Sewn" and my wagon is from "Piles Of Smile" . I decided to emboss the wheels & the handle in black and my wagon in brown. I know it is hard to see from the picture.  For my bling part I used the CUTE little heart button from "Stitched Button Dies" and added some glitter.

After I finished my card I realized I actually did the first horizontal row,  first vertical row and both ways of the diagonal rows! You do NOT have to do that but I tend to add everything but the kitchen sink to my cards. I just LOVE using my MCT products.

My pattern papers are from the Teresa Collins paper "Far and Away". I used some thin hemp for my heart /button.  These 2 items can be purchased at Liz's Paper Loft Boutique. The stitched hearts that are in my wagon from "100% Sweetness" . If you look real close, the gray heart has the "Script Background" stamp on it.  I used the "XL Label Die" and the "Stitched XL Label Die" as well. My sentiment is from "Home Sewn" and stamped on the  die from the "Chocolate Greeting" die. I wanted to layer that with the "Stitched Vintage Label Dies" ~ I just cut off the one end. They fit PERFECTLY together! As for my stitching I used the stitching stamp from the  "Gift Card Sentiments" .
I also used paper and ribbon from PTI.

A real fun and easy challenge for you to join in right? We would LOVE to see what you all create for this Designer Challenge ~ Tic~Tac~Toe! Now for rest of the creative and talented design team!

Emma (this is me) ;)

Okay, before I get started, I TOTALLY called this the WRONG challenge in my video:(  I called it a "Bingo" challenge when CLEARLY it's a "TIC TAC TOE" CHALLENGE! lol.......
Now onto my card! It "looks" busy, but it was pretty SIMPLE to put together! You can see in my video below exactly how I made my card! :)

Supplies I used:
~ Tag Die
~ Stitched Doily Die
~ Chocolate Greetings
~ To my best peep
~ Stitched Button Die
~ Striped Ribbon
~ Pink Thick Hemp

Here is my video for you today!:)
P.S. it's a "TIC TAC TOE" CHALLENGE & NOT a "Bingo challenge"! lol......;)

Deadline for this challenge is Tuesday, April 2nd! So  I hope to see LOTS of you playing along w/our challlenge! Have a FABULOUS day my sweet friends & a HUGE Thank you to Miss Kim for this FUN challenge!
