Peachy Keen Challenge #20

Welcome another Peachy Keen Challenge! The challenge this week is to create a purse or tote of any size using a winter theme such as snowmen, snowflakes, or Valentine theme or any outdoor snow activities! You also need to use at least one stamp image.
Isn't this the CUTEST purse you've ever seen! I had sooo much fun making this project! This is how I would've dressed my little girl, if I had one! lol..... Isn't she ADORABLE!!! For my project I used my new Favorite Valentine paper from Martha Stewart for her dress, I embossed the heart with a stamp set from PTI and the sentiment is also from PTI! I thought using a boa for the handle was a perfect touch for my "Girlie" purse! That beautiful face image is from Peachy Keen Stamps. This is a brand new set called "Simple Sallies Face Assortment" PK-531 I'm not sure if you can see them or not, but I also wrapped the same pattern paper I used for her dressed around some hershey nuggets for the inside of my purse! Why don't you head on over to the Peachy Keen Challenge Blog to participate in this FUN challenge for a chance to win an AWESOME prize! The deadline for this challenge is Monday, January 25th! Don't forget to visit the rest of the talented Design Team to see what they've created! Viv, Lorie, Janice, Jacqui, Nikki & Angelica! Thanks for visiting & have a great Tuesday!

1st Class of 2010~ Valentine Workshop!

Hello everyone! I just wanted to share with you the projects we made this weekend for my very 1st class of 2010! This was my "Valentine Workshop"! First of all, I wanted to welcome our new student this year "Caroline"! Welcome Caroline, I hope you had a good time & we hope to see you in our future classes! Okay, now, In the 1st picture, we made a Valentine bag to hold your child's Valentine cards they receive from their classmates, a lollipop holder which I designed using my Gypsy & a Valentine card! The next couple of pictures are the 2 12x12 scrapbook pages we made! For both of the frames, I also designed using my Gypsy! Also, I have to say that I have a FAVORITE Valentine paper pack this year! It is from Martha Stewart! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! You will definitely be seeing A LOT of it the next few weeks to come! If you are interested in purchasing this class, send me an email & I will give you all the specifics! Also, if you would like to purchase any of the items made already for your children's classmates or anybody, check back this week because they will be available for purchase @ my ETSY Shoppe! Thanks for visiting & have a GREAT evening!

Sweet Treats! Meow ~Meow Monday Challenge

Welcome to another Meow~Meow Monday Challenge over @ Digi Kitty! This week's challenge was to make a treat holder of any sort. The design team is using the "Hippo Love" set & paper bundle from Digi Kitty! If you haven't already, head on over to the Digi Kitty Stamp store & pick up this "Yummy" set for a special going on for this week only, for $ 4.99! This includes 6 stamp sets & 3 coordinating pattern papers! I would take advantage of this amazing sale this week!
For my project, I chose to keep it Very Simple! I wanted to show everybody that you can take a plain ordinary paper bag & turn it into something CUTE! I am using a smaller version of a lunch bag & I used my Gypsy to make sure my Hippo fit perfectly into the heart shaped frame! The ribbon I used was from PTI! Not only can you fill this bag w/treats, but your child can also use it to put all of his or her valentine cards in! I know for sure that I will be making these for my child's classroom this year! Thanks for stopping by & be sure to head on over to the other design team member's blogs to leave them some love & veiw their AMAZING projects! Janice, Peggy, Christi, Mia, Genevieve & Kristal!
