Thrifty Thursday

Good morning my creative friends & welcome to another "Thrifty Thursday"! Today is the day that my design team & myself make something w/our scraps! I've been playing ALOT w/my valentine paper pads, so I have a lot of pieces EVERYWHERE on my craft table!  I decided to use those as scraps for this card!
This should've been an A2 sized card, but my scrap of vellum was not big enough! The card sized ended up being a little shy of 4 inches wide & 4.25 inches from top to bottom.
You can see in my video below exactly how I put my card together!

Inspiration Wednesday

GOOD MORNING my sweet friends & welcome to "Inspiration Wednesday"! I am SUPER HAPPY because I got to play w/my embossing paste for the 2nd time! ;)
For my inspiration, all of these stencils have TOTALLY inspired me to create one of my own using my dies! I made my stencil a few weekends ago, but this is the first project I made using it & I LOVE it!  I made my stencil by gluing 2 pieces of chipboard together so my hearts can be a little thicker! Since I used chipboard to create my stencil, I cannot re-use it! Had I waited & watched my "Stencil class" FIRST, then I would've known to make one using clear acetate so I CAN re-use it again! ;)  I show you exactly how I made this card in my video below!
I am also going to be using this card as my homework for the class!

Try Me Tuesday

GOOD MORNING my creative friends & welcome to another NEW segment called "Try Me Tuesday"! First off, I apologize I don't have a video for you today, I had a SUPER BUSY day yesterday & my son also had a baseball game so I definitely could NOT miss that! ;)
Anyways, we will be doing this segment every other Tuesday & each time we will try something NEW! Today we are doing "Dry Embossing"! As soon as I found out we were doing "Dry Embossing", I KNeW I wanted to make my own embossing template using my "Stitched Hexy Dies"!
This is the embossing template I made & I used a thick piece of chipboard. After I made this, I cut out my Tag Die, then placed this template over my tag & ran it through my EBosser using ALL the plates!

I hope you can see the dry embossed "Hexy"  pattern on my tag! ALSO, I made a boo boo, I was "supposed" to make a CARD! I even READ on our schedule that we were making a card, I'm not really sure WHAT I was thinking! lol……. So, I ended up making a tag & I LOVE how it came out! I was even VERY PROUD of myself because I even made my own embellishment using my "Stitched Sweethearts & XOXO die".  All I did was cut out the 2 bigger hearts & just sewed them together down the center! The cute little sentiment is from "Once Upon a time", which will be back in stock "ANYDAY" now! ;) I thought it would be cute to add the tiny hearts from my "4x4 Journal & More"!

MCT Supplies I used:

Okay, now onto my AWESOME design team! Don't forget to click on each name to visit each blog & give them ALL some "BLOGGY LOVE"! :)

Weren't ALL of these "Dry Embossing" cards AMAZING? If "YOU" have not tried dry embossing yet, I say just do it because it is SUPER FUN!!! Either make your OWN templates like "I" did, but you can also use your embossing folders that "Might" be collecting dust! lol.........
Thank you ALL SO VERY MUCH for stopping by, I will see you ALL back here tomorrow! :) xoxo

Made in Minutes Monday AND a "Guest Designer"!

Good morning my sweet creative friends! I hope you ALL had a GREAT weekend!
Today I am SUPER EXCITED about this BRAND NEW segment we will be featuring every other Monday called "Made in Minutes", AND we have another "Guest Designer" today!
Okay, I'm not going to lie & say I was ECSTATIC about this idea because God knows that it can take HOURS for me to finish a project! lol…. REALLY, sometimes it does!  As I was going through my Facebook feed, I came across these ADORABLE little hearts that were made by Cosmo Cricket! The are heart pockets w/little messages in them! This was NOT MY original idea, you can see the ORIGINAL post HERE!
I thought it would be FUN to try these out!

When you create these, I suggest you cut ALL your hearts & banner out FIRST, then assemble them! If my glue gun didn't get stuck, they would've took me around 2 minutes to assemble each heart pocket!  How ADORABLE are these to give to your classmates, maybe you can squeeze a tiny piece of candy in them! Also, they would be super cute to put in your kid's lunches OR better yet, your hubby's lunch! Who wouldn't want a sweet message every now & then! ;)

Supplies used:
~ 100% Sweetness (heart die)
~ Chocolate Greetings (banner die)

Here is my video for you showing how I put these cute little hearts together!
