Friday Tip of the Day! ~ Episode 337

HELLO & HAPPY GOOD FRIDAY! Here is a LATE "Friday Tip of the Day" for ya!
I was THRILLED to use these little cubes in my living room for storage! Yep, they are not ONLY for your craftroom!;)
Here is a quick video for you today!

This picture was hard to photograph! I just wanted to share w/you a simple frame I picked up & thought it would look PERFECT over my fireplace! I filled w/some of my FAVORITE pictures & I also used my stamps too!

I took another picture outside so you can see all the stamps a LITTLE better! lol...

All stamps I used on my photos are from "Encouraging Quotes" which I thought was 'appropriate'!;) As you can see, I stamped my sentiment a little crooked, but I am STILL happy w/it!! If you can't read the sentiment clearly, it says "I must've done something right because I ended up with you!"

This is one of my FAVORITE sayings in this set!;) it reads: "Always enjoy the little things in life... one day you'll realize they were the big things!"

I just LOVE this picture of ALL 3 of the MOST IMPORTANT MEN in my life!;) How you see my hubs & my boys here, this is basically how it is in my house everyday! I LOVE the sentiment I used for this pic too which says: "I love my life and the people in it!"

I just think my boys are the most ADORABLE boys EVER!!!!! I just LOVE them SOOO MUCH! Let's just say that every time I look at them....I just "SMILE" because I am SO VERY LUCKY to have been blessed w/them & I am SOO VERY PROUD of BOTH of them!;) This is a pic of them from my nephew's wedding & it's my FAVORITE! This sentiment reads: "Be who you want to be!"

This statement is SO VERY TRUE!;) All I have to say about this is that I have the BEST & SUPPORTIVE family EVER!!! I could NOT have asked for a better MOTHER & FATHER! They have been here for us through thick & thin! No matter how late, how early....if there was EVER an emergency w/my family here in my home, they would be here in a "Heartbeat" w/No hesitation and NO questions asked! Even when they lived an hour & a half away, they were ALWAYS here for us no matter what! For that, I am VERY GRATEFUL for my parents!;)
this reads: "Family is always there for you no matter what..."

Last but not least, I ALWAYS tell my boys: "Do what makes you happy!" This statement is SO VERY TRUE on so many levels! Even my hubby, he has picked up a hobby as well & he is LOVING it!;)

Well, I hope you enjoyed my "LONG" tip of the day! Thanks again for visiting my blog! Have a FABULOUS weekend & I hope the Easter Bunny stops at YOUR house!!! HAPPY EASTER to ALL of you "my super sweet crafty friends"!!! See ya back here next week! xoxo

My Creative Time Friday Tip of the Day! ~ Episode 354

GOOD MORNING & welcome to "Friday's Tip of the Day"! Today you are ALL in for a treat! I have sweet Miss Debbie joining me again & she has the CUTEST projects EVER! Let's get started! For my card I used the Peachy Keen's March Stamp of the Month for the CUTE little mushroom! Other items used: Scallop & Stitched Circle Die, Recycled ribbon & So Grateful For You stamp set!
Here is my Tip for You in my video! ALSO, Miss Debbie & I are doing a FUN giveaway! See details below!;)

Now onto my FABULOUS "Guest Designer" MISS DEBBIE from "Bugjuiced"!
Ball Jar $1.99
Memory Jar......PRICELESS!!
Good Morning Everyone and thank you for stopping by to see another Friday tip of the day for my monthly guest spot for sweet Emma. Today I wanted to show you a cute project to make that is really quick and simple and just sweet!

The tip of the day here is to re-purpose old jars such as canning jars, pickle jars, spaghetti sauce jars and make something that holds a special meaning/message...make a Memory Jar!

This one is all about my sweet daughter. She is the best thing that ever happened in my life and at 26 years old I still think of her as my little girl and that will never change. So I made a Memory jar for my project.

I used the "Teeny Tags" dies and stamps as well as stamps from "Turn that frown upside down" and "This and That". I cannot tell you how much I love Emma's stamps and dies. The quality is just far superior than other stamps. Her dies I am loving. I didn't know what I was missing before I had them.

I took a ball jar (purchased at Michaels for $1.99) and bought a spool of 20 gauge wire and just twisted them up to hold my little sentiments. I had originally plan to use long tooth pick type sticks but couldn't find them anywhere!

I just bent up little swirlies to put the tags on and hot glued them to the lid.
I put sand originally in the bottom but think I will buy something else to go in the bottom so by the time this pic is put up it will maybe change. I added a cute little sentiment for the front and used from "This and That" set. I used the circle die from "Build a Banner" to put her Date of Birth on.  I used "Turn that frown Upside Down" for the You complete me, It really looks cute in person.  "My minds Eye" 6x6 paper pack Lost and Found and it is Market Street.

I also used the "TeenyTags" die to make a cute little banner for the top. I was going to use the banner kit but needed my banner to be a bit smaller. I bought these cute little letters at target for $1.99. There is a whole bunch of them. They just redone our target and I have to say the crafting area is much better. I used the dies from Teeny Tags both sizes to make the signs inside jar.

$1.99 Ball Jar at Michaels (Do you know how hard it is to take a good picture of a jar!!)

It was covered up by the sand but you can use moss etc. It probably would be better since its hard to screw it on with all the loose sand.

This is such a wonderful sentiment! The papers were all from MME Lost and Found Market Street

I dream of going back in time to when my baby girl was a baby! I LOVE YOU LINDSAY!!

2nd Project
I did a cute little gift card for a sweet friend. I used Close to My Heart Die cut Cards with envelopes and used Miss Emma's New sets "You are Perk-fect" and "Coffee break". I love this die!! I also used her Curly Label Die. Click on each of the products I listed for the store page they are on!

I printed pattern paper from my cricut cartridge "Kates Kitchen"and also used the Homemaker stack from October afternoon. I used my Close to My Heart Art Philosophy cart to do that cute little flap shape! I knew the special person I am sending this too loves Red. I think all of these stamps are just so Delish!! I will be putting a starbucks gift card in place of the "fake" one I printed here. I didn't have time to get their today since I was super busy at work!

"Teeny Tags" used again for the Sweet Friend and the Many Thanks in pic below.

"You are Perk-fect" set again for the cup stamp and sentiment above.

The cutest cup die in the world from "Coffee Break"

3rd Project...yep its the last one!

I made a quick little card with the "Cocoa Motion" set
I used my Art Philosophy cartridge to cut this shape card. It is cut at 4 1/4" I think of "Do the locomotion" when I think of this set!! Although in my head I sing Cocoamotion instead of Locomotion!
I hope you enjoyed my long post and hopefully my tip of the day!

THANK YOU MISS DEBBIE for ALL of these FABULOUS projects today!;)

Friday Tip of the Day w/Miss Debbie Crowder!

Good morning everyone and welcome to my Guest Spot with "My Creative Time" and my Friday Tip of the day.
Today I have made a few little goodies using quite a few of Emma's dies and stamps. I will list them for each picture. I hope you enjoy it!!
First up is My little shadow box I made. I purchased this for $3.99 at Hobby Lobby it was unfinished so I used Tim Holtz Picket Fence crackle paint. After it dried I used the Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Ink to shade the corners and make some of the crackles pop out. The chickie is from Create a Critter and the sentiment is from Emma's "Hello Spring" Stamp set from her new release. The paper behind the chickie is from October Afternoon. (Forgive the pics it is late and not the greatest lighting...I am buying me one of those photobox's as soon as I get around to ordering it!)

Ok Next project is a couple little "treats" to give out! I bought the cute little Polka dot bucket at Hobby Lobby for $1.99 and this cute little bottle also was $1.99 filled it with my favorite chocolate covered raisins!! The bucket has some cute little chickie marshmellows...ps no chicks were harmed during this photoshoot....ok I ate a few!! I used the Egg die to make this cute little hanging tag for the bottle and used a stamp from "You had me at Chocolate" for both the sentiments and then used the little strip stamps from "Hello Spring" also to decorate the egg. Ink is from Powder Puff.

Next I used the cute little Silhouette stamp from "Hello Spring" and embossed it in white on this black Bazzill cardstock. I wanted it to stand out. I used the sentiment again from "You had me at Choclate" (I love this set!) This was a hard card to photograph in the evening! The sentiment says "Where have you been all my life" in case its hard to see in this pic.

Now for my Tip of the Day.....drum roll please.....

I like to find inexpensive ways to store my goodies in my craft room and I like having things that I use alot like Emma's stamps really handy and accessible so I purchased this "curtain rod (although its a wire but that is what they are calling it here at Ikea) from Ikea for around $5 and it comes with quite a few I believe 18 clips! You can purchase more of these clips places where they sell "Clip it Ups" but if you don't want to spend over $80 for one part of a clip it up this is ideal. It is close to the wall so it doesn't get in your way. I have enough room that I can also use part of it to hang my cards on. Here is some photos.
This is hanging right above my work area! Handy dandy!!

{Didn't Miss Debbie do an AWESOME job? I am SOOO PROUD of her!;) Miss Debbie will do}
a "Friday Tip of the Day" for us once a month & I am SOOO EXCITED about that!;)

Okie Dokie! Why don't we end this week w/a little giveaway! I am going to be giving away a hint of what I will be featuring for next Friday's tip of the day! I can't wait! I am giving away this 6x6 My Mind's Eye "Fine and Dandy Girl"! All you have to do is leave a comment here on this post and on Miss Debbie's blog as well! Don't forget to leave a way for me to contact you if you should be the lucky winner!;) GOOD LUCK!

Friday Tip of the Day ~ Episode 313 & a Sneaky Peek!;)

HAPPY HAPPY FRIDAY!;) For today's tip of the day, I am showing you how easy it is to stamp on your ribbon to make it match your FAVORITE color stamp ink! I discovered a new color of ink by Ranger that I picked up @ Mr. Cricut Crazy's site & I just LOVE LOVE LOVE it! It's probably NOT a new color, but since I've never seen it, it's new to me!;) It is called "Manganese Blue" & it reminds me of a color that stampin up discontinued called "Pacific Blue" which I LOVED too! Well, I need some ribbon to match a "special" project I am working on for next week & out of the MILLION ribbons I have, this color was no where to be found:( So, I just made my own!
You can see my short video on how I did it!;)

Now, I just couldn't end my week w/o giving you another sneaky peek of what you will see next week! Isn't ths PRETTY? This is what I was talking about on how Pretty this color is!

I thought I would try to switch this card up a bit by adding a cute little "Fragment" by Tim Holtz! I used glossy accents to attach it over my sentiment! I'm not sure if Peachy Keen is still carrying these, but you can see some similar to these in their store HERE!

Then, I just added a little twine from the Twinery, stickles to my daisies & I added some liquid pearls to one of the daisies! ;)

I hope my tip of the day helped some of you out there today!
Don't forget to join us Monday morning @ 12:01am for the beginning of our sneaky peeks! I am SUPER DUPER EXCITED about this release! Since I am only releasing 3 stamp sets, we will have our "February Stamp Release Blog Hop" on Thursday, February 16th @ 12:01am PST!
Have a FABULOUS weekend & get well rested because there is going to be CUTENESS OVERLOAD starting Monday morning!;) Thank you again for stopping by! xoxo

P.S. For those of you having trouble getting your email updates from my posts, I apologize, but I THOUGHT if you re-subscribed it would work? Unfortunately NOT:(  I contacted "Feedburner's" message forum & they said that they don't know why this is happening & they have no answers for me:(  So..... I don't know what to tell you, but just stop by my blog when you can! I always have something posted Mon-Friday! HOPEFULLY they get this resolved VERY SOON! I apologize for the inconvenience!
