Good morning my sweet friends & welcome to another "Inspiration Wednesday!" I am SUPER EXCITED about my project for today! I haven't made a 3-D item in such a long time, that when I saw this project HERE that was made by my DT member "Miss Lucia", I KNEW I wanted to make this! So, here project was MY inspiration for today! I tried to post a pic here of hers, but for some reason, I couldn't grab her pic from her blog :( It may be under "high security!" hhehehe! ;)
As soon as I saw this, I KNEW I wanted to make one for my craft room! I KNOW I have a million post-it notes, but of course, when I need them, they are NO WHERE TO BE FOUND! lol….
So now, my post-it notes are displayed so PERFECTLY on my desk in my craft room.
Here is a side view of it! I just LOVE it! I think these would make the PERFECT teacher gifts, office gifts….etc..! I even thought that you can even turn this into a picture frame….how CUTE would that be? You can see in my video below EXACTLY how YOU can create one of your very own!

CHALLENGE DETAILS:
For this challenge, my sweet DT member Miss TeriBeri wanted us all to make a
scrapbook layout in any size and format of your choice, using a variety of pockets and envelopes.
Here is my project for you today! I had gotten this cute little smash book last year & when I was re-organizing my craft room, I found it! ;) It is a little over 5x7 size & I thought it would be cute to do my page in! I was texting w/my dt member Miss Katie & she told me she was going to start something for her son who will be attending college for the upcoming school year!
Soooo, that gave ME an idea to start one for my son! Even though he is only a freshman in highschool, his school is taking them to visit different colleges already! We are also going to visit some on our own just so he can get the feel of it & so he won't be in SHOCK when he gets there! lol…..
Earlier this month he was invited to visit Stanford University! Can I just say that he was SOOOO HAPPY & EXCITED that he was chosen to go! I guess only 90 kids were invited & he was one of them! Basically they get to visit the campus, see what they have to offer & they also let them know what is expected & how to apply! When he came home that day, it felt like his childhood just went by SO FAST! I just had to take a moment & reality set in that my baby is no baby anymore :( Well…. he will ALWAYS by my Baby Aaron, but it's just so hard to believe that he is actually starting to look at colleges. He is only a freshman, but I feel like these 4 years are going to go by so fast & I just DON'T WANT THEM TO! :'(
Sorry, I got sidetracked, so I used my "Tag pocket die" so I can put the invite he received and a picture of the bus that took them! lol….I'm not sure about all of you Mom's, but whenever my boys go on a field trip on a bus, I ALWAYS take a pic of the license plate & the bus number AND I go meet the driver! hehehe! I am usually on those trips w/them, but I have a claustrophobic problem so I usually follow it! I always have this info JUST IN CASE I lose them while following! It's crazy….I know, but I just can't help it! ;) I also did some journaling & put that in the pocket too!
I think this would be fun for him to go back & look at the colleges he did visit! The HIGHLIGHT of his visit to Stanford, was NOT ONLY was it an AMAZING campus, but there was a "Starbuck's" on campus! hahahaha! YEP, he is DEFINITELY my son! ;)
