Happy Mother's Day!!!!!!

I know this isn't a "Brand New" card, but I wanted to post my FAVORITE Mother's day card that I had made using my stamp set "Mom You Rock"!  For the background paper, I used my favorite "Immortal Love" paperstack form DCWV! Imagine Nation Monday! ~ Episode 183

Hello My Creative Friends & welcome to another Imagine Nation Monday! For my project today, I decided to use the "Best Friends" cartridge! This 8x8 layout could NOT be anymore simpler!!;) You can see how it was done in my video! For all the sentiments I used are from my stamp set "Mom You Rock"! I don't "Love" this page, but when you are in a super hurry, the Imagine definitely comes to your rescue! What you didn't see in the video was that I added some dk. brown stitching & some stickles to the butterfly!

here is my video showing you how I did this EXTRA SIMPLE page! OH, a few of you had asked me what happened to my old music??? Well the thing is, "I" don't even know what happened to it!! LOL.... So, I'll have to go w/different music for now! Hope you enjoy the video my friends!;)

Peachy Keen Spring Blog Hop!

FINALLY, ALL of you get to feast your eyes on the CUTEST CUTEST Spring release from Peachy Keen Stamps! If you have just arrived here from my Bestie "Nikki" then you are definitely headed in the right direction!  All I have to say is "WOW"!!! The set I am featuring is called "Faceless bugs" which is available NOW HERE along w/ALL the other FABULOUS sets!!! Let's just say that I think I have a BRAND NEW "GO TO" stamp set! Everything about this set just brings a HUGE smile to my face! Sorry I have no video for you, we are STILL going back & forth to the doctors for my hubby & that is definitely time consuming. So I was able to make these cards just in time!;) Okay, 1st things 1st, I would like to announce the winner of the stamp set I sneaked a couple of days ago, which is this set "Faceless Bugs"! Okay, now onto my cards!

This is the card I did for my sneak peek! Isn't it SOOOO SUPER SWEET?? I just fell in love w/that bumble bee & I think it went PERFECT w/my stamp set "Turn That Frown Upside Down"! That AWESOME glittery paper will soon be carried by Peachy Keen Stamps! Of course that twine is from "The Twinery"!

For my next card I used my two favorite colors together, Purple & Green! As you can see, I kind of  "O.D'd" on the stickles!! LOL...... I just couldn't help myself!!! hehehehe! For that AWESOME border, I used my double loop Martha Stewart punch & I also used my brand new "Sew Easy" which arrived at my house "literally" one hour ago!!;) It was dying to get out of the box! Of course as you can see I did not use the thread that came w/it (since time was not on my side) I just used the tool & outlined it using my Stampin up "Eggplant Envy" marker! I think it actually matched my butterfly just perfectly!;) Of course the twine I used is from my favorite "The Twinery" & that two sentiments are from my stamp set called "Mom You Rock"

Now, for this card, I used the BEAUTIFUL Dragonfly from this set! When I think of dragonfly's, I think of "Making a Wish"! So I decided to use that sentiment from my stamp set "Polka Dot Surprise"!  I was also DYING to use "Market Street Stamp's" background stamp called "Vintage Wallpaper"! Can I just say that these background stamps ~stamp & emboss just PERFECTLY!!! I embossed this card using the "Iridescent Ice" powder from Stampin up. It looks WAY PRETTIER in real life! Another Update & a Card!

Good Morning! Well, I must say that we had a productive day yesterday! Basically, everything I asked for, I got! We are taking MORE tests today & also a CT Angiogram! The Dr just wanted to do the CT test & call it a day~ I don't think so!  I asked for all of these other tests, because if it turns out that there was no aneurysm, then what caused this to happen? So, needless to say, he is fasting right now as I type & he has to fast for another 4 hours before the CT test! Let's just say that I know my Mom will be making him a HUGE dinner tonight!! hehehee!! & that means no cooking for me!:) We are going to squeeze in a movie for the boys! They have been wanting to see "Rango", so hopefully it's good.:) Good thing I have a babysitter here for my furry babies because they are wondering what is going on! It's so wierd how smart they can be!

Anyhow, now onto my card~ I used the cartridge "A Child's Year" along w/my stamp set called "Mom You Rock"! This sentiment is my favorite one from this set! I remember my boys asking me (before I went back to work), "Mommy, how come you don't get a check like Daddy does?" ~ Then I replied & said "Becauese Mommy's get paid w/lots of hugs & kisses!" So, I thought it was appropriate to put it into stamp form!!;) This will ALWAYS make me think of that day! (I just LOVE my boys!) I actually like how this card  came out! That cute layer is also from this cart, I just used the "hide contour" to hide the shape that was in the center of it! It looked wierd to me, so I decided to use some glossy accents for my girl holding her baby! :)

 I'm OFF to see some more of the doctor's offices!!! I am praying that we get good results from these millions of tests he will be taking today!;) Have a great day & THANK YOU VERY VERY much for ALL of your advice, comments, emails, facebook messages & especially all of your cards!!! A Happy Day & a Card!

Today was a good day! My boys & I took my hubby out on a field trip today!!;) We are trying to be positive & do fun stuff so he won't worry & be scared! We went out today, picked up lunch & ate at a cute park near the water! Afterwards we all went to our FAVORITE PLACE IN THE WHOLE WORLD, "Ghiradelli Chocolate" & had ice cream! We had the BEST time, considering everything that is going on! I wanted to share the pics w/you! Sorry the pics aren't very clear, I took them w/my phone since I forgot my camera:(

When we got home, my hubby sent me to my craftroom!!;) He told me to go make a card or anything I want for myself, while he played "Guitar Hero" (playstation) w/the boys! So I have been dying to use this sentiment from my "Mom You Rock" stamp set! I just knew when I picked up my "Superman Cartridge" I just HAD to make this card! The picture really doesn't do any justice, it is really pretty in person! The "Super" symbol & the layer was cut out at 3.5 inches & the card is 5.5x4.5! I used the Photo Label Punch that you can find right now at Peachy Keen Stamps! The cute twine is from the Twinery, the pretty "Rasberry Fizz" ribbon is from Papertrey Ink! Then of course, I use my handy dandy "I-Rock" to bling her up!;) The pattern paper is from my FAVORITE Immortal DCWV paper stack!
