Latest on my Hubby! & Picture of my Sis!

First of all, I want to explain the pictures of my sis!!! I had a "Last Minute" ustream tonight & I showed a picture of sister from highschool & she wasn't happy about that particularly one that I showed! LOL...... Well, I thought it was a PRETTY pic, but she didn't think so!;) So I promised that I would show everyone an updated one of  her! Once again, I FAILED to record the ustream (sorry) :( 

Now, onto my hubby, today we did find out that he has NO aneurysm "THANK GOD"!!!!! So being that he is still fatigued & still hasn't quite had his appetite back 100%, I still need answers! So, they did another chest xray, they want to see his heart again & they also took an abdomen xray as well! I got a copy of ALL the blood work & every test that was taken on him & I am having someone else look into it more "Thoroughly" for me! Basically, that was it, but I did LOVE the Dr. we saw today because she actually sat there & completely answered EVERY single question I had for her & then some! She was GOOD! That was it! I just feel a whole weight lifted off my shoulders because when they originally said he had an aneurysm, they described it as being so big that it could burst anytime:( So you can understand the relief I had just knowing this!;) Like I said before & I'll say it again, THANK YOU SOOO MUCH EVERYONE for being here for me! I didn't mean to get all emotionally tonight on my ustream, I tried my hardest NOT to, but I couldn't help it:( I still can't believe how much support I am getting from ALL of you & I still have to tackle  the 3200 emails I have gotten from SOOO many of you! So THANK YOU & my Hubby THANKS you from the bottom of our hearts:) Well, I better take myself to bed now! Tomorrow is my boys opening day ceremonies for baseball AND they are having their very 1st game! I am SOO EXCITED about that! & I know they are too!!! ;) Have a GREAT night everyone & don't forget, I will have another ustream Tuesday night! I wasn't going to do a stamp release for this month, but my hubby made me! he still wants me to have one! Good morning! WOW, what a day we had yesterday! At least this is the FIRST day we can actually sleep in for a change! My hubby did every test you can think of & now once again, a waiting game! At least we only have to wait 2 days because we go back to the doctor on Friday! We will get ALL the results then~ so in the mean time, I'm just trying to keep a positive attitude & keep my hubby busy so he doesn't have to worry until then! I was even able to squeeze Baby Aaron in to see his doctor since he was due for his physical and for him to get his shot that he will need to go into 7th grade! Let's just say that my hubby is relieved that he will NOT be fasting today!! lol.... We were able to see "Rango" yesterday in between his appts & it was pretty good! The boys loved it & I think I probably would've enjoyed it more if I wasn't so tired! When we got home, we all took a "Much Needed" nap!!! These next couple of days we are going to relax & do what my hubby wants to do! He just wants to hang out & watch movies all day in our jammies! "My kinda guy"!! :) It is raining here so this is a PERFECT plan!

Well, for my two cards today, I made these for ALL OF YOU!!! I just want to let you know that I APPRECIATE ALL OF You for being here for me & again for ALL of your support, great advice, sweet emails, comments and like I said before, ALL of your cards for my hubby! The cards are SOOOO SWEET that when I read them, I am boohooing like a big baby because I can't believe how suppportive all of you have been throughout this whole ordeal & I am just overwhelmed! Even though I haven't met all of you in person, it feels like I know each & everyone of you! I am very lucky to have the BEST Supporting group of friends/family & I can't thank you enough! So I hope you enjoy these 2 cards!

My inspiration for my card came from my sweet friend "Kate" & her blog is "Small Bits of Paper"! She made the prettiest card using a shape similar to this one & I just HAD to make one myself! You can stop by Kate's blog to check out her BEAUTIFUL card! I used the "Paper Lace" stack from DCWV for both of my cards today! For the sentiments I used my stamp set called "So Grateful For You"!

You all know how I don't like to waste paper, so I decided to make this other card w/the scraps I had left over from my card above!;) I used the chunkier "Thank You" sentiment for this one!

This is the set I used for my 2 cards today! I just LOVE this set because I designed it so you can match up any of the phrases w/Thank You! They are available HERE!

Another Update & a Card!

Good Morning! Well, I must say that we had a productive day yesterday! Basically, everything I asked for, I got! We are taking MORE tests today & also a CT Angiogram! The Dr just wanted to do the CT test & call it a day~ I don't think so!  I asked for all of these other tests, because if it turns out that there was no aneurysm, then what caused this to happen? So, needless to say, he is fasting right now as I type & he has to fast for another 4 hours before the CT test! Let's just say that I know my Mom will be making him a HUGE dinner tonight!! hehehee!! & that means no cooking for me!:) We are going to squeeze in a movie for the boys! They have been wanting to see "Rango", so hopefully it's good.:) Good thing I have a babysitter here for my furry babies because they are wondering what is going on! It's so wierd how smart they can be!

Anyhow, now onto my card~ I used the cartridge "A Child's Year" along w/my stamp set called "Mom You Rock"! This sentiment is my favorite one from this set! I remember my boys asking me (before I went back to work), "Mommy, how come you don't get a check like Daddy does?" ~ Then I replied & said "Becauese Mommy's get paid w/lots of hugs & kisses!" So, I thought it was appropriate to put it into stamp form!!;) This will ALWAYS make me think of that day! (I just LOVE my boys!) I actually like how this card  came out! That cute layer is also from this cart, I just used the "hide contour" to hide the shape that was in the center of it! It looked wierd to me, so I decided to use some glossy accents for my girl holding her baby! :)

 I'm OFF to see some more of the doctor's offices!!! I am praying that we get good results from these millions of tests he will be taking today!;) Have a great day & THANK YOU VERY VERY much for ALL of your advice, comments, emails, facebook messages & especially all of your cards!!! Busy Day Today & a Superman Card!

Good Morning! We will have a busy & hopefully a productive day today. This will be the start of getting some answers that I want to  hear ~ Wish me luck! I have my list of what I want to ask our doctor today & then some!! I will keep you posted on what we discover today! I know it's not going to happen right away, but I am going in w/a positive attitude!:)  Obviously, I couldn't really sleep lastnight because I just kept on thinking of everything I want to ask today, so I decided to make this card for my man! I told my hubby that he "IS" "My Superman" & that I am positive that he is going to be okay!;) I was also inspired to make this card because I saw THIS ONE that my bestie made! We used my newest stamp set called "You're My Best Buddy"! I hope you enjoy it & I will see you back here soon!;)

A Happy Day & a Card!

Today was a good day! My boys & I took my hubby out on a field trip today!!;) We are trying to be positive & do fun stuff so he won't worry & be scared! We went out today, picked up lunch & ate at a cute park near the water! Afterwards we all went to our FAVORITE PLACE IN THE WHOLE WORLD, "Ghiradelli Chocolate" & had ice cream! We had the BEST time, considering everything that is going on! I wanted to share the pics w/you! Sorry the pics aren't very clear, I took them w/my phone since I forgot my camera:(

When we got home, my hubby sent me to my craftroom!!;) He told me to go make a card or anything I want for myself, while he played "Guitar Hero" (playstation) w/the boys! So I have been dying to use this sentiment from my "Mom You Rock" stamp set! I just knew when I picked up my "Superman Cartridge" I just HAD to make this card! The picture really doesn't do any justice, it is really pretty in person! The "Super" symbol & the layer was cut out at 3.5 inches & the card is 5.5x4.5! I used the Photo Label Punch that you can find right now at Peachy Keen Stamps! The cute twine is from the Twinery, the pretty "Rasberry Fizz" ribbon is from Papertrey Ink! Then of course, I use my handy dandy "I-Rock" to bling her up!;) The pattern paper is from my FAVORITE Immortal DCWV paper stack!

Latest Update on My Hubby

All I have to say is, what a "Roller Coaster" ride of emotions this has been for all of us! Here is the latest~ Doctors ruled out Stroke & Heart Attack, but I am completely CONFUSED & BAFFLED (not to mention NOT HAPPY) by what these doctors, nurses & neurologists have told us! The neurologist said that the MRI shows that my hubby has a "Brain Aneurysm".:(  Then late lastnight, they gave him one more test & the "Nurse" came in & said "Guess what, he doesn't have an aneurysm"??!!!!!!! FIRST of all, why aren't the Doctors telling me this, isn't this their job to do so??? At this point, I was VERY ANGRY!!! I said that the neurologist had DREW a Picture of what it looked like, told us what size it was & how the specialist were going to fix it!!!!! Now, the nurse doesn't say much after this!!! So WHAT IS THE ANSWER PEOPLE??? Does he have one, or does he NOT??? It's just really frustrating because you trust them to tell you the "Facts" & when they have conflicting stories, it's NOT good! Needless to say, I told them & I ALSO talked to that neurologist & let her know that I was NOT happy, I want another opinion to get to the bottom of this!!!! My poor hubby is very scared right now, as well as myself:(  I just CANNOT imagine another episode like he experienced happening again! My hubby did come home lastnight & we will start all over again on Monday to find out what caused this to happen! I want to THANK ALL OF YOU for your SWEET emails, facebook messages, comments, thoughts, prayers, etc..... I have been reading them all, I just haven't had the energy to respond to every single one of them. All of this is just "Emotionally Draining":( I'm done crying, I'm more upset because now it's another waiting game & PLEASE pray that we get some "CORRECT" answers soon! I will NOT settle for anything less! This Man is "My Life" & I just CANNOT imagine my world without him in it! So again, Please continue to pray for us, I TRULY TRULY APPRECIATE IT my Sweet Friends~ Thank you.

Update on my Hubby & Design Team Thursday!

Wow, where do I begin? First of all, I want to thank Miss Veronica for my post she did for me yesterday! If you haven't seen it yet, you can do so HERE!  I was VERY OVERWHELMED by ALL the comments & sweet messages on my facebook page from SOOOO MANY of you! Well, my boys are finally sleeping in my bed with me, since my hubby is still in the hospital:(  I was NOT going to do this post today, but my hubby told me that he wanted me to do it so it can keep my mind busy! Remember my stamp set called "Paper Princess"? Well, there is one sentiment in there that says "Crafting is my Therapy"! Can I say that it TRULY is! My hubby knows it too! He said to me before I left "As soon as the boys go to sleep, make something or do something on your blog because I'll be checking it in the morning from my phone"! I LOVE this man! The update w/him is that he was transferred to another hospital this afternoon & we are meeting w/the neurologist in the morning! Please PRAY that we get some answers! Not knowing anything is killing me:( They will be running MORE tests as well. That is all I have for you as of right now! I wish I knew more myself. So thanks to him, by doing this post did keep me from crying again tonight:(
