Sunday Challenge ~ w/My Pink Stamper!

Happy Sunday everyone! Today "My Pink Stamper" is hosting another challenge, which means, I get to use her stamps again!! How cool is that! I wanted to use this cute "Yummy" stamp from her new stamp set called "Simply Sweet Occasions" To be honest w/you, I didn't even know there was another challenge until about a couple of hours ago when I turned on my computer! So while I was watching a movie w/my family, I went ahead & made this using my Gypsy so when the movie ended, all I had to do was plug my gypsy into my cricut & cut it out! The cart used for this card was "Sweet Treats" which I have to say it has to be one of my favorites at the moment! I used a variety of pattern paper from PTI & Stampin up & I used my cuttlebug for the ice cream cone! I thought my card came out cute & "Yummy"! lol... Thanks for visiting & have a good night!:)

3rd challenge for My Pink Stamper! (Scroll down to see 2nd post)

Okay my blogging friends, this is my last post for tonight! The last challenge for "My Pink Stamper" was to create a tag of any sort! So I was anxious to use her stamp "Everything looks better in Pink" & so I did! I created this tag w/my Gypsy & made sure everything fit perfectly onto the tag w/no problem! As soon & I seen that stamp I used, I knew I wanted to pair it up w/a cut from "Forever Young" cart! I thought my tag turned out pretty Classy with her pink & white polka dot dress! I added some bling to her bracelet & also to the small tag! As soon as I was done, I knew I couldn't just put a plain ribbon on it, so I decided to use black boa which I think made it look even cuter:) This would be a perfect tag to put on a bag or purse for your girlfriend for her birthday or any special occasion! I hope you like it ~leave me a comment & let me know what you think!! This is it! Have a GREAT night everyone & thanks for visiting!

Cold Days -Challenge #2 w/the Pink Stamper!

Okay, my computer's surgery is over! Thank God! The virus is all gone & now I'm back in business:)
Now to the 2nd challenge w/My Pink Stamper was to create something warm & springy to take our minds off this COLD weather everybody is experiencing right now! I decided to go w/a spring flower theme! I created this card using my Gyspy & the "Sweet Treats" cart. The paper I used was from Jillibean Soup, cardstock from coordinations, ribbon from Stampin up & that "Lovely" stamp image & sentiment is from "My Pink Stamper" herself! The set I used was called "Simply Sweet Occasions" I just can't get enough of this set, it has a lot of cute stamps! For my card, I also used some buttons from PTI! I thought they fit perfectly into the center of the flowers!   I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend & thanks for visiting!

Cold Days -Challenge #1 w/the Pink Stamper!

Okay Miss Robyn, here is my card for your challenge today! Now I'm not so upset that I woke up w/a fever this morning because if I didn't, I wouldn't be able to join your challenge today! I feel horrible, BUT I got to use your new Stamp Set! Did you recognize it?? I think it's ADORABLE, I had a hard time choosing which one to use because they are ALL soooo cute! For my card I use some new paper I just got from "Jillibean" I just LOVE this company because they have a variety of nice pattern paper & escpecially since I LOVE polka dots! The black cardstock is from PTI & of course that lovely cupcake image & sentiment is from "My Pink Stamper"! This is one of her new stamp sets called "Simply Sweet Occasions"! And of course, I finished my card off w/lots of purple stickles! Well Robyn, I hope you like my card & I am proud to showcase one of your new stamps!

Peachy Keen Challenge #21

Good morning everybody & welcome to another challenge over @ Peachy Keen!! Here are the details for the challenge this week:
  • Project can be in any format (with the exception of digital art, hybrid projects are totally ok!)
  • Must contain a vintage item or be inspired by something vintage. The vintage item(s) can be a postcard, old love letter (I love those), an old button, an aged photo – whatever peaks your interest!
  • Must contain at least one stamped image
  • The "twist" is that this challenge will be judged! The designers, Kathy & Angelica will judge the entries based on the following criteria:
  • Interpretation
  • Quality of Work
  • Original creativity in the project
For my project today, I chose to go with a 50's retro look 12x12 scrapbook page! I wasn't sure how it would look so I layed it out using my Gypsy 1st so I can get a visual! I liked how it turned out! The cartridge that was used was "From My Kitchen" & the stamp set I chose was Peachy Keen's "Everyday Character Face Asst" PK-490.
Your project needs be linked into Mr. Linky before February 8, 2010 to be entered to win the prize which is a $25 gift code to Peachy Keen Stamps! Don't forget, the entries will be judged for this challenge - no random winner will be drawn. Good luck everyone, and have fun! Don't forget to stop by the rest of the DT's blogs and check out the beautiful cards they made for this challenge! Viv, Lorie, Janice, Jacqui, Nikki
Thanks for visiting & have a wonderful day!!!

I Went to CHA! CHA! whooohoooo!!:)

This had to have been the best weekend for me! I was lucky to get to go to CHA:) Can I just say that if you have never been to a CHA, you definitely have to go at least once! It's like being in one HUGE Candy Store:) There were soooo many booths w/free make-n-takes, put it this way, LOTS of free fun stuff were given away! The highlight of my visit was to meet Robyn (My Pink Stamper!) & Karlee of course. They are the sweetest & most genuine ladies you can ever meet! I even got to meet Miranda & Natalie from Custom Crops -very sweet ladies also! In this picture Robyn is holding the present I had made for her & Karlee since this was their birthday weekend!
These were the birthday goody bags I had made for both of them! I printed the tags on my computer & used my stampin up window word punch to punch them out so they each had a personalized gift! I wanted to make it special for them! I know they love bling so I put lots of pink adhesive rhinestones for the sprinkles on the cupcakes! I was able to use my favorite little library clips to hold the bag closed instaed of using ribbon this time! They looked even cuter in person!

Robyn had a HUGE announcement at CHA, it was that she has come out with her very own stamp line!! How cool is that!!! Of course I had to have these adorable brand new stamps of hers, look how cute they are! The 1st set is "Simple Sweet Occasions" & the 2nd one is "Everyday Occasions"! Her other big announcement was that she was launching her 2nd 2-disk DVD! It wasn't available for purchase on this day, but we were able to pre-order it! Oh, I had also purchased one of her new Pink stamper T-shirts, I will have to wear it & take a picture to show you!
This was the free make-n-take we did @ her booth. When I was done, I had Robyn, Karlee, Miranda & Natalie sign it for me! So this was definitely the best make-n-take for me since it was signed by 4 cool & creative ladies!:)

To the left here is Me & Karlee, I was so excited to see her finally arrive @ CHA safely & in one piece:) To the right is Karlee & Robyn, they are so cute & very nice ladies! It was definitely an honor for me to meet them:)

To the left were cute postcards Robyn was signing! She signed a note to each one of my boys! On the right was the card she demo'd @ the Provo Craft booth & I felt special when she gave it to ME when she was done!
Provocraft also had some BIG news! to the left is a brand new machine that will be launching in April this year~A "Cricut Cake" machine that will decorate beautiful cakes like you see on the right!! HOW AWESOME IS THAT!!!

On the left was the make-n-take we did decorating a cupcake that the machine had cut out! (my cupcake got ruined in transit) & the box was from the Sweet Treats cartridge! The picture on the right is my son winning a Cricut Cartridge "Designer Calendar" @ won of the drawings @ the provocraft booth! They had given everyone one of those cute chef hats he is wearing!
Another one of my highlights @ CHA was meeting the spokesperson for Provocraft "Jinger Adams"! What a SWEET  person she is. I felt like we've known each other forever! I had to tell her that I love her "Cartridges in a Minute" videos & I was able to ask her directly about more features being added to the Gypsy! She had advised that we update our Gypsy's once a month for all the updated information that will benefit all of us!!!! This was sooooo Exciting!!!
These were a few other make-n-takes I made there. The left picture was @ The "Taylored Expression" booth & I have to apologize because I don't remember which booth I was @ when I made this adorable pink polka dot box!

Here are my boys showing off a few of the items they had made in the kids zone @ CHA! Let me tell you, if your kids want to go with you to CHA, let them, because my boys had a  BLAST! they are already planning for next year!

This is it! We were done for the night! Like I said before, if you haven't gone to CHA before, you have to at least try to make it once! I promise you, it will not disappoint! LOTS & LOTS of fun stuff & wonderful people to meet!! Have a wonderful night everyone & thanks for visiting!

A gift My Hubby made for me @ CHA!!! Scroll down to see 2nd post!

Okay, this deserved to have a post all on it's own!! I just had to share this with all my blogging friends! I say it everyday that I was blessed with the BEST husband in the WHOLE WORLD!!! While we were @ CHA on Friday, my husband & the boys were in the kids zone where they got to make 14 different craft projects. My man also participated & made me this special frame for ME! How SWEET was that !!!! sigh...... when we got home, he used my circle punch & my 3D dimensional stickers to add this picture of us to the frame! Now ladies, how many husbands would actually do this??? I am sooo happy that I have spent the last 21 years with this special man! This year in October, we will have married for 13 years! These definitely have been the BEST 13 years of my life! Check back tomorrow for lots of fun pictures from CHA!!:)

Happy 81st Birthday to my Dad!!!

Look @ how cute my Dad looks for his 81st Birthday!! I think it's safe to say that life must be treating him WELL for him to look this good @ 81!!!! His birthday was yesterday the 23rd & I definitely made it back just in time from CHA to celebrate this special occasion w/my family! Thank GOD for my Gypsy because on our drive back yesterday morning from CHA, I designed this page for him! I thought it was Perfect since my Dad has always been the BEST handyman/woodmaker all his life! I think it definitely rubbed off on my sister & I because we always helped him when we were growing up so we love tools ourselves! On our way back home we stopped off @ Target to pick up this shadowbox frame & as soon as we made it back, I plugged my Gypsy into my cricut & made this page literally in 20 minutes! How cool is that! Good thing I already had an idea what papers I wanted to use! I kept it very simple since it was for a man! The picture is of all of the younger grandchildren & the baby makes 1 great grandson. There are 3 more older grandchildren that were not in this picture!
Thanks for visiting & have a great night everyone!!!

She had also requested it to be simple~hey, right up my alley "Simple". So, this is what I came up with!! I designed it using my Gypsy & I've always wanted to use this choo choo train from Paper Dolls ~this was my chance! I showed her this sample & she LOVED it!!! So this will be what I'll be working on tomorrow! Thanks for visiting & have a great night!
