Designer Challenge hosted by Miss Glora!

Hello My Creative Time friends. This is Glora from Glora's Crafts and I get to host the new Designer Challenge. The challenge is to make any kind of project so long as it has a THANKSGIVING THEME and uses some My Creative Time products.

I had a blast with this challenge. My mind was going crazy thinking of sorts of fun possibilities on how to use Emma's current dies to make a turkey. I love the little turkey gift bags and I hope you do too.

Everything on the topper of this treat bag was made using Emma's products other than the little Critter Faces (size small)  by Peachy Keen Stamps. Just in case you ever want to make these I'm going to list what I used. First let's start with the products that are the same for both turkey treat toppers. The green piece is My Creative Time's Stitched Doily Die. The brown turkey base is the bunny die from the To My Best Peep stamp and die set (I just cut off the bunny ears). The sentiment on both of them is from the new Teeny Tag Holidays stamp set.

On my girl turkey I used both layers of the Scalloped Stitched Rosette Dies for her tail feathers. I have seen some of the other My Creative Time designers use rosettes for tail feathers on turkeys and thought it looked really cute. To make her little hair bow I used the tiny little hearts you get when you cut the olive pick on the Cocktail Party Stitched Dies

The tail feathers on the boy turkey are the bunny ears from the To My Best Peep bunny die. I used the present die from the new All Around Holidays set for the hat. I just trimmed off the bow and cut another hat in red and trimmed it down so I could layer it on top.

I hope these give you some fun ideas. I know that my design team sisters have made some AMAZING projects for this challenge to help inspire you. I hope you will join in the fun challenge too. I can't wait to see what you make! Don't forget to click on each of the designer's names to visit each blogs!
Hugs- Glora

Emma (that's me) :)

I have a SUPER SIMPLE card for you today!  The funny story about my card is that I actually had a dream about it! hehehehe!! The GOOD part about that was that I already knew what I was going to make for this "Thanksgiving" challenge! :)  Well, in my dream, I saw this on a front door of someone's home & that explains the TALL card. The final size of my card is 3x7, which will fit into a business size envie.  I used my set called "Piles of Smiles", one of my FAVORITE fall sets to date!  The cute little stitched leaf dies are included in this set, so that is what I used to make the shape of my wreath. The sentiment is ALSO from this set which I thought went PERFECT!  The card base was white cardstock from papertry inc & the pattern paper for my leaves are from the Pumpkin Patch stack  DCWV 6x6 paper pad. I used popdots to pop up my leaves & last I added stickles to them to finish it off.

I hope you enjoyed ALL of this FABULOUS inspiration from my design team! I can't wait to see what you ALL make for this FUN CHALLENGE!

Okay, now onto our WINNER from the "Pumpkin Challenge"! Random.org chose:

3D Wednesday

Good morning my sweet creative friends & welcome to another 3-D Wednesday!  Today I have a SUPER CUTE project for you! I saw these adorable little jars at Hobby Lobby & thought these would look cute on your table at each place setting for Halloween! What a SUPER FUN little treat for your guests! I put some candy corn M&M's inside (my fave) ! ;)  Remember those straws I also picked up from Hobby Lobby? well, here they are again w/my rosette die & a Trick or Treat banner! I was SO HAPPY that my felt finally arrived & I couldn't wait to use my orange zest color to make a super cute bow w/my new bow die!

Here it is in its entirety!

Here is a side view of how adorable this little jar is that I found at Hobby Lobby! It's only about 3 1/4 inches tall! A PERFECT little treat to set on your table at each place setting!

Totally Treats!

Good morning my sweet friends & welcome to something NEW! We are featuring a new segment called "Totally Treats"! I thought this was a FUN addition to everything else we are doing! I tried to think of a SUPER EASY treat to mass produce & I came up w/this! All I did was used the wrapper that comes w/my Treat Slider Die, wrapped my nugget & used a popdot to attach it to my layering Just Tag dies! Of course I did my stamping first, but it was SUPER EASY to put together & I thought it came out pretty cute!:)  You can see a list & links to what I used below!

Supplies used:
~ My Mind's Eye Halloween 6x6 paper pad
~ May Arts Ribbon
~ Orange hemp twine

Visit my AWESOME design team blog's to see more info on their FUN treats they made for you today!

I hope you all were inspired w/all of these YUMMY treats we showcased here for you today! Keep in mind, you can switch up ANY of these treats to make it for ANY holiday or occasion!

Okay, some other "non MCT" info! ;) I most likely will not have any videos for you this week :(  My little Anthony still is sick w/his pneumonia & now Baby Aaron has a sinus infection :( I will have my nurse hat on this week & will have no time for videos! I'm not sure when they are going back to school, but I'm going to make sure they are 100% before they do return!

Thank you ALL so much for stopping by & I will be sneaking in my craftroom again tomorrow after my boys are sound asleep! ;) Have a FABULOUS day my sweet friends! xoxo's

Scrapping the little things!

Good morning my sweet friends & welcome to another "Scrapping the little things"! Today my design team has some AWESOME layouts for you today! I have nothing for you because I thought all of you would rather your orders shipped out from the sale instead of a project today! ;) We got out as much as we could, but ALL remainder orders will be out by tomorrow! We could've been done, but my baby is sick w/pnenomia & I needed to be here & take care of my boy.

With that said, here are all of the BEAUTIFUL pages from my AWESOME team! Don't forget to click on each name to see details on each project!

I hope my team inspired YOU to do a little scrapping today! ;) Thank you all so much for stopping by & I will see you all back here tomorrow & the winner from our last day of our Halloween Hustle! xoxo

HALLOWEEN HUSTLE Day #5

GOOD MORNING my creative friends!
Welcome to our last day of  our  "Halloween Hustle"! I hope you ALL enjoyed what you have seen this entire week!  I can't believe this week is already over :( It's a GOOD THING that I have a sale going on for you right now for THIS WEEKEND ONLY! See details below!

When I designed my bow dies, I was dying to make a hair bow w/them! Since I only have boys, I can TOTALLY make these for my nieces AND for myself! I CANNOT wait to make some bows to match the colors of my son's Sandlot baseball team & I can wear them to his games! I already have something EXTRA SPECIAL in mind & I am just PRAYING that my Papertrey Inc order comes in today w/all my yummy colors of felt! ;) I've found that 100% wool is the BEST felt to use w/my dies! I tried going to Joann's to find some, but they ONLY have boring colors like cream color :( So I just decided to order it from Papertrey inc like I usually do~! You can see a list below of what I used to make this! Now, keep in mind, I am NOT a "professional bow maker", but I truly think my bow came out SUPER ADORABLE. :) They are SOOO EASY to make & you can add any embellishment to them to dress them up! I am DEFINITELY not done experimenting w/making hair bows! These are going to be so much FUN!
You can see in my video below exactly how I made these! :)

Here is how it looks in my hair! It's so hard to photograph the color purple because the color looks a little different all the time! (I was just lucky you couldn't see any of my gray guys in my hair! lol...)

Here it is all CUTE & packaged up ready to gift for someone! Just think of how ADORABLE these would be for stocking stuffers??? just sayin'....! ;)

Supplies used:
~ Hair clips from Joann's

Here is my video for today!
