Tutorial Thursday

Good morning my sweet friends! Since this is the 5th Thursday of the month, we have another "TUTORIAL THURSDAY" for you today! ;) 

Unfortunately "I" don't have anything for you today :(  Yesterday my friend & I took our boys to the movies!  It was us w/5 boys! Since it was going to be 106 degrees, we made sure we saw the FIRST showing! Well, we didn't realize that "Jurrasic World" was in 3D!  We kind of didn't have a choice but to see it at that time because the next showing wasn't until 2pm! By that time, we would've FOR SURE melted! lol....

Don't get me wrong, there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING wrong w/3D movies, but they are no fun when you have vertigo!!!  The funny thing is that the other Mom I was with has vertigo TOO!!!! 

We both "Tried" to watch it & as soon as we both put the glasses on, we BOTH felt SICK :(

So, we told the boys to text us when the movie ended & we had to leave to see ANOTHER "non 3-D"

movie! LOL..... We ended up seeing "Train Wreck" which wasn't too bad! It's a GOOD THING the boys weren't w/us for that movie! hehehe! ;)  Unfortunately I literally felt nauseas for the rest of the day w/a bad headache :(  It CERTAINLY did NOT help that it ended up reaching 106 degrees.  So I just made sure all my curtains were closed & cranked up my AC!  Feeling like this, made me not in the mood to go to my craft room at all :(  Let's just say that I am SOOOOO READY for FALL!!!!

I don't mind it being hot, but I can't handle it once it passes 95 degrees!  I am a hot mess after that!

Inspiration Wednesday & Background Check Class Day 2

Good morning my sweet friends & welcome back to another "Inspiration Wednesday!"  Today my AMAZING team & myself are creating cards based on inspiration! 

For my card, I was inspired by the ONLINE CARD CLASS I am taking "Background Check!"  Basically this class teaches you different background techniques! These classes come in handy for me because if you have been following me since day ONE, you all know that I can get BORED of what I make quickly! So I am thankful for these classes because they help me get a jump start on my creativity once again! ;) You can see in my video below EXACTLY how I stamped my background! 

I did not complete the card in the video because I wanted to keep the video some what short! So all I did at the end was use my Rosette Die,  Vintage Label Die & the "you" from the Speech Bubble Sentiments & added that to the lower right hand side of my card!  I used vellum because I didn't want to take away from the background!  This is the technique that Miss Kristina Werner showed! Hope you enjoy it my friends! :)

Favorite Stamp of the Month! (Online Card Class BACKGROUND CHECK) Day 1

GOOD MORNING my sweet friends! Welcome to our "Favorite Stamp of the Month" again! ;) 

First off, before I get started, I just wanted to say "THANK YOU" for those of you who gave me advice for my little Scrappy! For those of you who saw my blog yesterday, I let you know that my little Scrappy was constipated :(  I had given him a tablespoon of canned pumpkin & it helped a little!  Then I had gotten advice in my comments for me to give him a sweet potato & plain applesauce!  For his dinner, I did cook my sweet potato & share it with him! Let's just say that he has some "RELIEF" now! hehehe! ;)  I think by tomorrow, he will be back to his spunky self! So again….thank you for your comments & advice! ;)

Okay, now onto my card! I kind of have a few things going on here! I am taking another "Online Card Class" which is called "Background Check".  Basically this class is teaching us different background techniques!  For my card, I just did a technique from Miss Laura Bassen! She did a soft background using Tim Holtz distress inks & used a foam tool to blend the inks! But for my card, I decided to use the same colors she used, but I used a water color technique instead! 

Now for that AWESOME "U" shaker, I got this idea from Miss Lori w/allreddesigns from the craft channel!  This was one of her Inspired by Pinterest shows & I just HAD to try it!  I just LOVE LOVE LOVE the Fuse Tool because it has SOO MANY POSSIBILITIES!  I filled my "U" shaker w/my FAVE  Pretty Pink Posh sequins! I explain in my video below how I put my card together!

Scrapping the little things!

GOOD MORNING my sweet friends & welcome back to another "Scrapping the Little Things!" 

First off, I hope you ALL had a GREAT weekend!  It went by WAY TOO FAST for me! ;)

As I was working on my layout, had to stop SEVERAL times because my poor little Scrappy is sick frown emoticon I thought he had diarrhea because he went out a LOT of times outside, but I followed him & poor guy was actually constipated! :( 
 I had to stop crafting because he kept whimpering before he went out & he NEVER does that. Those of you with fur babies, what do you give them when this happens? I was googling & it says to give them a tablespoon of canned pumpkin. I just "HAPPENED" to have that in my pantry & gave it to him! I am just HOPING it kicks in soon……my poor little baby frown emoticon  I know he isn't feeling well because he NEVER lets me hold his little paw.  If any of you have any advice, please share in the comments below anything that has worked for your fur baby in a case like this.  If he doesn't get better, I will take him to his Dr. tomorrow.

"Do Over" Thursday!

GOOD MORNING my sweet friends & welcome back to another "Do Over" Thursday! 

For those of you who are new to my blog, today is the day that my team & I re-do a card that we were not too happy with in the past OR we just re-do a card that we wanted to change the theme of!

So for my card today, as you can see here below, the ORIGINAL card was a Christmas version! 

I wanted to re-do this card to make it a baby card! 

So, as you can see here, this is what I came up with!  I still love my Christmas version, but I LOVE how my baby version of this card came out! I explain in my video below how I put it together!

If you just saw my video, then you are all aware of a HUGE problem that happened over the weekend.

When we started to pack up orders, we noticed there was a problem with a couple of the new stamp sets :(

THANKFULLY we caught it BEFORE they were ALL shipped out!! This is the FIRST time this has EVER happened & I can guarantee you that it will NOT happen again.
