Peachy Keen's Weekly Challenge #12

Good morning! Here is my entry for the challenge over @ my favorite, Peachy Keen Stamps! The challenge was to create an ornament, it had to be hanging, have the color gold in it & also have a stamped image! I think I just about covered it all:) I had a great time with this challenge because I LOVE making christmas ornaments!! This project was so quick that I think it took me longer to photograph it!! I tried to make it picture perfect! I hope I did good:) The supplies I used were: the 2 patterned papers are from American Crafts, ribbon from Michael's, Gold cardstock is from Stampin up, I used a white gel pen for faux stitching, Lots of stickles & that beautiful stamp image is from of course, http://www.peachykeenstamps.com/ & the small happy holidays sentiment is from, stampin up! I used the "Joys of Season" cricut cartridge to cut out my ornament out on chipboard! I hope you enjoy my ornament, please feel free to leave me a comment & let me know what you think!!! Thank you & have a great Wednesday!!:)

Good morning everyone, This is my card I designed for Peachy Keen Stamps challenge for the Blog Hog starting today!! I was over the moon when Kathy (owner of Peachy Keen Stamps) had asked me to be a guest designer for her blog hop today! Kathy provided the sketch for this challenge & this is what I came up with. For my card I cut out my mummy w/my cricut & used Peachy Keens adorable little "Monsters & More" ~PK-558 stamp image for his face & I used another face image from them for my little pumpkin basket~ "Jack-O-Lantern Faces"~PK-510. Like I mentioned in my blog on Wednesday, the blog hop will start out with Scrapsketch.com. Be sure to visit all the blogs to get a chance to join in on the fun challenges! A Year in Cards w/Kristina!

Here is my take on the challenge over @ Two Peas w/Kristina! She designed 3 different cards & wanted us to do our own take on them! I created this ghost shaped card using my Cricut Design Studio software. I used a texture black card stock & cute googly eyes from Michael's, A shimmer white cardstock & sentiment from PTI & pumpkin color cardstock as well as my little library clips are from stampin up. Here is the link to her website to download the PDF file & to watch the video on how to create her version of these adorable cards http://www.kwernerdesign.com/blog/?p=2142 . I hope you like my take on this challenge, feel free to leave a comment & let me know what you think!!!

MACM ~ Sketch Book w/Kristina!

Kristina had designed this fabulous sketch book for making cards. This is something that is perfect for me because I'm constantly sketching on all sorts of scratch paper & I land up always throwing them away after I'm done! This book is perfect because if I can't think of an idea, I can always refer to my "handy" book! For the cover, I used a patterned paper from American Crafts & the letters are a stamp set from 7 gypsies! I'm still in shock that I actually made something for myself!!! Anyways, here is the link to Kristina's blog so you can download the interior pages & there is also a video explaining how to assemble it! http://www.kwernerdesign.com/blog/?p=2135

Peachy Keen's Weekly Challenge #11

Here is my entry for this week's challenge over @ Peachy Keen! I love my pumpkin, I think she came out just adorable:) For this card I used paper from "My Mind's Eye", which btw, I love! Buttons & sentiment are from PTI, I used oval punches to make the pumpkin & "Stretch your Imagination" cricut cartridge for the top of the pumpkin, cardstock is from PTI & local stationery store here in town. I didn't have orange embroidery thread, so I used my copic markers to color my white thread, I thought it was a perfect match! I also used crystal effects & stickles! Personalized Notecards for Aubre!

I think I'm kinda addicted to my "Hello Kitty Font" cartridge right now! I used her to create these cute personalized notecards for my cousin who lives in Boston! Her birthday was last Friday, I just hope she already checked her mailbox because I held off posting this so she wouldn't see it before she actually received them! All cardstock is from PTI & I used clear embossing powder to emboss the polka dots on these cards! I thought they came out pretty classy! I think I may even make some for myself! What do you think? please leave a comment & let me know!! Scroll down to see my second post for tonight!

A gift for Rachel!

I made this cute little journal & bookmark for one of my son's friends for her birthday. I thought this suited her perfect because she is a simple girly girl who loves writing & reading, what a perfect combo gift, ya think!! I covered the journal w/kraft color cardstock & used the same for her bookmark. Also I used a rasberry color & shimmery white cardstock from PTI & the ribbon was also from PTI! I used the "Hello Kitty Font" cricut cartridge to cut out her initial & flower!~ Please feel free to leave a comment & have a great night!!
