HAPPY NEW YEAR'S EVE my sweet friends! I hope you ALL had a FABULOUS Christmas!

As 2015 is rapidly approaching….(within hours)….I wanted to share w/you LOTS of my FAVORITE projects from 2014~!

Well, this is it my friends! The next time I am on here, we will be in a "NEW YEAR".  I STILL can NOT believe it will be 2015 in just hours away! I am SO READY for a new year & I have LOTS of FUN stuff in store for all of "YOU!" :) 

My team & I will be back to our regular schedule starting on Monday, Jan 5, 2015! 
I will also get to introduce to you my 2015 Design team!  We will have a FUN FILLED week for you filled w/LOTS of inspiration! Then the following week, on Jan 12th, that will be the start of our "SNEAKY PEEKS!"  All I have to say is that I am IN LOVE w/this next upcoming release! We will ALSO be celebrating my "4 Year Anniversary"! Yep, can you believe I started my little stamp & die journey 4 years ago ALREADY? Time SURE FLIES when you are having fun!
So "SAVE THE DATE" January 12, 2014 @ midnight PST" will be the start of some AMAZING sneak peeks for you all!

WInner's for the Farewell Blog Hop


Good morning my sweet friends & welcome to My Creative Time! 
First off, I want to apologize for being "MIA", it has been CRAZY BUSY here at my home! I'm NOT SURE about all of you, but didn't it seem like Christmas just SERIOUSLY SNEAKED UP on us this year???  WOW! I "thought" I was ready because I did 90% of my shopping online (THANK YOU AMAZON.COM) & received everything in 2 days! ;)  That's DEFINITELY WORTH being a "prime member!" :)  Of course, there is ALWAYS those FEW things that you HAVE to go get because you FORGOT! ;) lol…. So my strategy was to go to the stores at 9:30 PM & there were NO LINES AT ALL! AND I still got some AWESOME sales on top of that! I wasn't too bummed about doing some last minute shopping because it was a "win win" situation! Now it is the day before Christmas Eve & I haven't even wrapped ONE gift!!!  I seriously JUST baked my cookies last night! I just LOVE making cookies w/my boys….I think this HAS TO BE the BEST part of Christmas for us! "USUALLY" our cookies are done at least one week before, but like I said, this Christmas crept up on us SO QUICKLY!  So here are a few pics of my boys helping me! Our tradition is to make our cookies & listen to our/my FAVORITE Jackson 5 Christmas CD! It's funny how traditions get passed down! My Mother's FAVORITE Christmas (back then) "LP" WAS the Jackson 5 one & now I feel like it's NOT Christmas unless we have that playing! :)

As you can see, my Anthony in the background making silly faces as Baby Aaron "impatiently" waits for the cookie dough to mix! ;)

Here is Anthony Making fun of how Baby Aaron was watching the mixer! LOL….. NEVER a dull moment w/this little one! ;) 

I was able to catch Anthony in action before he could make a funny face for the camera! ;) 

Baby Aaron had to do surgery on one of the cookies before he put it in the oven!! ;)  My boys told me that they wanted to do most of the cookie baking, so I let them & I have to say that they did a GREAT job!!! 

Even my Princess was involved in the action! I had forgotten to turn the mixer down before adding the flour & she just happened to be in the wrong place, at the wrong time! LOL…. The flour went everywhere & got here on top of her CUTE little head! hehehe! LOVE her! ;)

These are our 3 FAVORITE cookie recipes that we make faithfully every year for Christmas:

~ EASY Peanut Butter Cookies
~ Chocolate Chip Cookies

Before I get to the winners, I just wanted to share w/you a few of our Christmas decorations!  Since Christmas came SUPER FAST this year, I was SOOO BEHIND on my decorating :(  I am ALWAYS the one where I would "literally" decorate Thanksgiving night! LOL…. I didn't have to worry about my tree because it was up ALL YEAR!  Yep, last year as we were about to take it down, my boys & I discussed it & we thought it would be a good idea just to keep it up in honor of our S.F. Giants!  I had made the valid point that this "was" an even year & our boys LOVE to win championship on even years, so to bring our boys GOOD LUCK, we "literally" kept the lights on every single day for the entire year! Let's just say that it was TOTALLY WORTH it because if you all remember, my S.F. Giants won the World Series AGAIN this year!!! :)  Basically I just added that little tree above my tv & our stockings! AND, I JUST put up that stuff on Friday, last week!!! Can you believe that??? lol…. 


I just LOVE our stockings! Can you tell which one is mine??? ;) hehehehe! I was bummed because I could not find my doggies stockings!!! Of course, I found them AFTER I took this picture so  NOW all 7 stocking are up! YEP, you CANNOT forget about your four legged family members as well! 

Okay, so sorry for the long post! Now, here is the moment you having been waiting for! I know this was supposed to be on my blog YESTERDAY, but I was way too busy….so here it is now!!!

My Creative Time's Farewell Blog Hop


Good morning my sweet friends & welcome to our "Farewell Blog Hop".
Today is a "bittersweet" day for us here at My Creative Time.  I have mentioned earlier this month that there were going to be some changes for the new year & this is one of them.  
Having 18 design team members has gotten to be sooo much for me.  My goal for the new year is to have a smaller team & that means letting some team members go :(  I have tried to make a video for this blog hop at least 3 times & just could not do it.  It was too emotional for me because this was the hardest decision I had to make.  Unfortunately this is why there is no video for you today :(

 Some of these ladies have been w/me since the beginning & I consider us family here at MCT.   So this post is going be hard to get through :'(  I decided not to do another design team call because that is a lot of work & I am really busy with my boys right now.  These ladies that are part of this blog hop today will NOT be gone forever!  They are a part of my new "Alumni Team!"  This means they will guest design for me sporadically throughout the year & they will also be part of a few blog hops!  These ladies are AMAZINGLY TALENTED & I KNOW they will be picked up by other design teams asap!  So hopefully their new teams will let them do the guest spots for me.  "My Creative Time" would NOT be the same without them!  If I could keep ALL 18 members, I TOTALLY would, but unfortunately, I can't.  So I thought having this "Alumni Team" would be GREAT! 

For this hop,  I thought the theme should be a "Friendship" theme which is very fitting for this hop.  
Here is my card I created! I wanted to do some watercoloring for it & I love the way it came out.  I thought having the butterflies hang off the card would look pretty.  Since I used soft colors for the watercoloring, I thought this card needed some vellum butterflies layered on top of the yellow & turquoise butterflies to soften the card.  To add a little something extra, I used my fun stitched edge die for the scallop edge.

Designer Challenge
