Chic n Scratch Creative Challenge!

Good morning! today's post is a cute little tote I made for http://chicnscratch.typepad.com/ Creative Challenge. The rules were to create a 3-D item or a card using ONLY Stampin up product & it could'nt be retired! This was a tough one because 90% of stampin up products I own are retired so this definitely was a challenge for me! I used the "Basket & Blooms" XL Die cut, "Bigz Beautiful Butterflies" die cut, new clear button, glossy cardstock, perfect plum DSP & the "Best Wishes" that is stamped on the lower right hand corner of the tote is from the stamp set called "Short & Sweet". I really like how this came out, escpecially since Purple is one of my favorite colors & I love butterflies! I am about to mail this off to her today, the dead line is to have it to her by August 1st - Wish Me Luck!!! If you would like to vote for my project, go over to http://chicnscratch.typepad.com & leave a comment under my project!! I believe she will start posted the entries onto her blog later this week! Thank you very much & have a great day- keep cool today we are expecting to hit 104 degrees!

Cute!

Today's post is a "Cute" little tinkerbell picture book I had made for a customer. I love it when customers let me use my own imagination & come up with whatever I think looks best !!:) She wanted this for one of her nieces to take with her to the hospital with pictures of her family in it to look at after her surgery. I had fun with this one, since I have boys, I don't have too many opportunities to make cute girlie things! ;)

Scrapbook Class!

These are the 2 sets of layouts my ladies will be doing this weekend! Usually I always have a card also ready for them to make but this time I am going let the ladies use their own imagination & create something on their own! I already gathered up all my extra cricut cutouts, scraps of paper, ribbon & buttons & a blank card to work with. They will also have the option of using a sentiment on there cards which will be the "Mixed Messages" from PTI. I thought this would be something different & fun for them to do this time!! Of course I will have a prize for the most creative:) On Monday I will post the fun cards my group came up with!! Have a great weekend & please feel free to leave a comment!:)

Peachy Keen's Weekly Challenge! (thanks Kristina!)

Kristina totally inspired me for making this card for this weeks challenge! Also to take the dust off a few items I've had forever! The only thing on this card new is the stamp set. I can't even tell you when I purchased the DCWV paper, the little "smile" button I had purchased because Kristina had used another button from this set for one of her cards that she had made, so I thought that I had to have it also & when it arrived I had no idea what to do with them, so they got stored away! Now to the little stars in the sky, ironically, they were still in the same bag that I had purchased them in & they were from Michael's, sadly the receipt was dated "2005" how bad is that! It all sums up to, "use what you have" before going out & buying what everyone else had. So this is the card I came up with for the "Peachy Keen challenge", I hope you like it!

Best Friends!

Tonight's post is a layout I had made with the "Cars" cricut cartridge. The "Best Friends" came from the "Hello Kitty" cartridge. Yes I do have to say that when this cartridge came out, my boy's were more exited than I was:) I haven't gotten a chance to put my pictures on it yet, but that is on my list of things to do! I hope everyone has a good night & please feel free to leave a comment! Thanks:)
