Teach Me Thursday!

GOOD MORNING my sweet friends & welcome to our first "Teach Me Thursday!"  When ever we have 5 Thursdays in a month, we will be doing this feature as a BONUS for all of "YOU!"  I hope you enjoy this!  Basically, at each one of my design team member's blogs, you will see a step by step tutorial explaining to you EXACTLY how they created each project! 

I decided to make a "Shaker Card Tag!"  I always make cute tags to attach to my gift bags & put a separate card on the inside.  I thought it would be cute to make a tag into a card so I can eliminate putting a separate card on the inside of a gift!  I explain in my video below exactly how I created this FUN card tag! :) 

Here is how it looks opened up! There is plenty of room for you to stamp a sentiment on the inside OR write a personal message for the recipient!

I listed above under the "Other Products Used" the double sided adhesive foam I used and the Glitter Foam that I used for Wednesday's post! There you will see links to where I purchased them from! 

Next, someone asked about the green smoothies that I make for family every morning! Here is the recipe here! The EASIEST way to have these every morning is to spend a little time on a Sunday & cut up everything so all you have to do is throw it in your blender each morning! I use a Vitamix & that is where this recipe is from! This green smoothie is actually YUMMY! 

Inspiration Wednesday!

GOOD MORNING my sweet friends & welcome to another "Inspiration Wednesday!" 

Hope you all are having a GREAT week SO FAR! We are already half way through it! I LOVE Wednesdays because this is the day my boys & I get to sleep an hour later! YEP, Wednesdays they have late start so that is a GREAT thing to sleep that extra hour!  Yesterday I had went to the grocery store & SURPRISED my boys w/those little box cereals! Remember those cute little variety box "sugar" cereals?? lol…. Well, they come in individual bags now that almost look like potato chip bags! I've been making the boys eggs & toast every morning w/their "green smoothie" & I just wanted a little break from making the eggs! ;)  So I thought the cereals would take their minds off the eggs & switch it up a bit!  They do know that they HAVE to have the green drink no matter what! Which isn't too bad because I cut up all the fruit & veggies on a Sunday so all I have to do each morning is just throw everything in my vitamix & blend away!  Let's just say that when my boys came home from school yesterday, they were SHOCKED that I even purchased those cereals for them! LOL….. They were HAPPY CAMPERS! ;) 

Okay, now onto my card!  My inspiration for my card was from a dream I had! YEP, it's CRAZY that us crafters actually DREAM about projects we want to make! LOL…. 

Well, let's just say that my card came out CUTER than what it looked like in my dream!  You can see in my video below how I put this cutie patootie together AND the MCT products I used are listed below as well!

My Favorite Stamp / Die of the Month revisited!

GOOD MORNING my sweet friends & welcome back to My Creative Time! 

WOW! I'm not sure about all of you, but I am SO NOT looking forward to summer :(  This week we are supposed to get close to 90 degrees &  I STILL want it to be springy weather like 70's - 80's! lol… I never was a HOT WEATHER person! I am miserable once it passes 95 degrees!!! I've always been the type who would RATHER freeze…..hahaha!  All I have to say is "THANK GOD" for air conditioner other wise I would want to move right back to my San Francisco "everyday" 65 degree weather! ;) hehehe!  I think I will survive this week, at least it's mentally preparing me for those HOT months we will be having here soon!

Social Media Dies

Here is my card I made using this set! I've made a card similar to this in the past, but I wanted to re-do it & simplify it a bit! I was super HAPPY to FINALLY used this double sided foam I had picked up HERE for my card today! I LOVE it because I've been using adhesive for my foam & it's been warping my cards :(  So I LOVE that, #1 my dies cut BEAUTIFULLY with this foam & #2 it has adhesive on BOTH sides! ;) It's the little things that make me a HAPPY CRAFTER! :)

Just keep in mind, I did run the die using this foam through my machine a couple of times back & forth to MAKE SURE it cut all the way through! I just did some watercoloring & kept this card simple! You can see in my video below exactly how I created it!

Scapping The Little Things!

Good morning my sweet friends & welcome back to another "Scrapping The Little Things!" 

I hope you ALL had a FABULOUS weekend! Mine was FULL of FUN BASEBALL!  My Anthony had a tournament over the weekend & for those of you who has kids in travel ball, you know that it can be a VERY busy weekend!  Even though sometimes we all have to wake up EARLIER than we do to go to school, it is SO WORTH it just watching your boy do what he LOVES! :)  His team played AWESOME this weekend, but they didn't make it to the playoffs! Which is FINE because they ALL have a GREAT time playing the game they ALL LOVE! 

Since this was a busy weekend for my family, I wasn't able to sneak in my craft room :(  He had a few night games & by the time we made it home, all we wanted to do to THAW out & go to bed! LOL…. YEP, we were pretty cold, but I'm not going to complain because I KNOW lots of my east coast friends have it WORST than us! ;)

Do Over Thursday!

Good morning my sweet friends & welcome to another "Do Over Thursday!"  Today is the day that my team & I remake a project that we were not too thrilled about the first time around!   I decided to "do-over" this tag HERE!  I "really" wasn't happy with it, so I decided to do an entire make over of it! LOL….. ;)  I hope you like my newer version using our NEW goodies!  I just HAD to put our new adorable hot air balloon from "The Sky is The Limit" onto a tag!  I paired it up w/our new star dies along w/one of the sentiments from "You're My Hero" set & I thought it came out pretty cool! ;) The pattern paper I used was from my stash of scraps! :) After adding some cute silver circle confetti's from Pretty Pink Posh next I added the ribbon & twine, then left it alone! hehehe~!

What a Treat Wednesday!

GOOD MORNING my sweet friends & welcome to another "What A Treat Wednesday!" 

Today I have a FUN treat for you! I was SUPER EXCITED to play w/my newest release again & wanted to put these ADORABLE feathers from the Believe In Your Dreams set onto my Milk Carton Die for a classy looking treat! ;)  I used white embossing powder & embossed the feathers & the sentiment onto some SUPER CUTE vellum that I picked up HERE! The sentiment which is from the newest release set Believe In Your Dreams was embossed onto one of the tags from my Fun Stitched Tag Dies set!  The paper I used for the Milk Carton Die is from my stash! I just LOVE finding cute pattern paper in my stash & little by little I am getting through my scraps!  The heart is ALSO from the set Believe In Your Dreams! Last I added sequins & tied the tag on using some silver thread. 

Here is a little bit different angle so you can see that this is a milk carton shape treat! ;)  You can filled this treat up with anything you would like that is small! I filled mine up w/some hershey kisses!

Tag it Tuesday!

GOOD MORNING my sweet friends & welcome to another "Tag it Tuesday!" Today I just HAD TO play w/the ADORABLE little plane from our latest release~! I wanted to make an EXTRA thick shaker card just so I can add LOTS of sequins! So that is EXACTLY what I did! I just LOVE how it turned out! It was ROUGH trying to get a GOOD picture taken because of the glare from the clear transparent embossable window plastic!  I picked this up HERE a long time ago & I am just NOW using it! To be honest, I actually couldn't find it for a long time! lol…. So when I was NOT looking is when it appears! :)  I've ALSO been hoarding this glitter foam adhesive back  for a VERY LONG time! I never wanted to cut it up because it was SO PRETTY!!!  After seeing my design team member Miss Brigit use something similar on her new cloud dies for the blog hop…that inspired me to actually OPEN my pkg up!!! hahahaha! I am SO BAD like that! 

I created this shaker card using 2 layers of regular foam so I can add LOTS of bling to it~!  Let's just say my plan actually WORKED because I was able to put a LOT in there to shake it up! ;)
