Good Morning & welcome to another Design Team Thursday! Last week I showcased one half of my design team for my Throwback Thursday Challenge, which you can see HERE! Peachy Keen Challenge #44! - Episode~158

Good morning my Creative friends! It is time for another Tuesday Sketch Challenge - this time with a twist! And what a lovely sketch we have today - designed by Viv, one of our very talented Design Team members! We also have another talented Guest Designer joining us today! We're happy to welcome Erika Valdez for today's sketch challenge and all week long  from January 24th - January 28th!

THE CHALLENGE
Create a card or layout based on the SKETCH provided

TWIST
You must use a monochromatic color scheme! What exactly is monochromatic? Using tints and shades of the same color. (i.e. if you choose "pink", you must use dark pink, light pink, medium pink, etc.) Black and white will also be allowed! C'mon, it will be fun and SUCH a challenge!

Guidelines:
Design must be new

Project must incorporate elements from provided sketch

Link to Mr. Linky (on the Peachy Keen Blog) before February 7th

As with all of our sketch challenges, the basic layout should be there, but feel free to flip elements & get creative!

OBVIOUSLY, as you can see, I did my card WRONG:( So PLEASE don't do what I did! Make sure yours is a monochromatic color scheme! If your not sure what that means, you can read the instructions above the sketch! I used the ADORABLE "Wide Eyed Kids" for her face! I can't get enough of those faces!;)

Meet & Greet this weekend in Los Angeles, California!

So, CHA (Craft and Hobby Association) Trade show is in LA this coming weekend!

Unfortunately- it is not opened to consumers this time around-- BUT, Sarah from Pink Cricut and I were talking about how fun it would be to meet up with some of you in LA for a little Meet and Greet!

Don't Worry Be Happy!

HAPPY MONDAY my Creative Friends!!!! I can't believe how QUICKLY my weekends go by!:(  Well, I couldn't wait to show you this next "Sneak Peek" of what I have in store for you!!!! First of all, I would like to point out how much CUTENESS is in that "Playtime" cartridge! O M G!!!! HOW PERFECT is that face on this ADORABLE little girl!!! YEP, that face is from the BEST stamp company in the world "Peachy Keen Stamps"! I just CANNOT get enough of  the "Wide Eyed Kids Face Asst"!! I just LOVE it!;)

Now onto that "Oh SO CUTE" sentiment, that is from another one of my upcoming stamp releases called "I Love Your Smile"! I just KNOW this will be my "Go To" set, ESPECIALLY when I am using my ADORABLE Peachy faces! Well, that's it for today! Happy Valentine's Day Teacher!

Good Morning my Creative friends! Today I just wanted to share w/you a Cute Teacher card I made using the BRAND NEW RELEASE from Peachy Keen stamps "Wide Eyed Kids" AND my "You Had Me At Chocolate" stamp set! I'm not sure about any of you, but I ALWAYS have a hard time finding cute "Journaling" stamps! SO, with that said, here is another "Sneak Peek" of what I have in store for you! Isn't that journaling stamp ADORABLE!!! It is the PERFECT size for cards & also to place on your scrapbook pages under a picture!

 If you didn't get a chance to see the CUTE card I made for "Angelica" (Peachy Princess) yesterday, you can see that HERE! I also revealed a sneak peek on another one of my new upcoming set called Polka Dot "SURPRISE"!

My name is Nikki. I started scrappin' in 1998 after my Nana gave me an album and some Creative Memories stuff for Christmas. I was totally reluctant at first, but soon got hooked! It turned out that I would soon be putting my new found love for paper crafting to use as I got married less than a year later. {Yes, I was a child bride of 19 HAHA} I tend to make WAY more cards than scrapbook pages these days because I just like the instant gratification of it. My name is Abby Grimaldi and I am addicted to all scrapbooking things! I started this hobby many years ago but it has become a little more than a hobby now. I have been married for 15 and we have 4 kids! I taught high school Spanish for 8 years and decided to stay at home with the kids for a little while. My Creative Time has been a source of inspiration for me since day 1. I am honored to be part of this awesome team!

I have a passion for paper arts specially Paper Quilling. I discovered this form of art back in 1998 thru a crafts magazine. Since then I've been hooked.. My work has been published in two Quilling magazines from South America and The 2007 Quilling Accord Calendar.   I am a proud Member of the North American Quilling Guild and working towards my Accreditation for this form of Art.  I also love to create with my Cricut, Sizzix, Cuttlebug, rubber stamps  etc..  All my creations in one way or another are embellished with Quilling.  I’ve also been married for 12 years to a supportive husband and I am a proud mommy to three little ones that keep me very busy.  I work as a full time Administrative Assistant for an Early and Head Start Programs and live in Queens New York.

Hi, my name is Katie Jones, and I am thrilled to be part of My Creative Time's Design Team! I live in the San Francisco Bay Area with my wonderful 15-year-old son, Eric. Although I am a busy teacher of a 2/3 combination class in a public elementary school, I try to carve out as much time as possible for crafting.

I purchased my first Cricut Expression during the summer of 2009, when my sisters and I decided to make a scrapbook for my dad's 70th birthday. I quickly became hooked, and began experimenting with card making, along with scrapbooking. I now also have a Gypsy and an Imagine, and it's not often that a day goes by without my working with at least one of them! I have been following Emma's blog for quite a while now, and I'm always blown away by her designs. I'm so excited to start working with her stamps!

Hi! My name is Leanne and I am a 43 year old stay at home mom. I've been married to my best friend for 19 years and we have one 16 year old son Kyle. I discovered this craft in 2007 and there has been no turning back since! I love scrapbooking and making cards or anything that is related to paper!!

I've been married to my husband for 27 years. We have 3 children, well they are not little anymore my oldest just turned 27 on New Years Day, my middle son is 24, my daughter is 15. I have 2 Yorkies Isabelle & Gabby. I enjoy crafting and photography I work full time . I make time to craft after I get off from work or on the weekends. My husband supports my hobbies he put my cabinets in for me in my craft room he is very handy.

I started crafting about 6 or 7 years ago a coworker who is now a very good friend of mine, introduced me into scrapbooking and I was hooked. I did not realize how expensive it could be. The funny thing is sometimes we enable each other after we hear about each other shopping sprees we do over the weekend. I started my blog last year and I am glad I did I have met wonderful and talented people. I am able to share what I made.

I am so excited to be part of Emma's design team and look forward to sharing what I make with you.
