Good morning & welcome to another "Friday's Tip of the Day"! For today's tip, I show you how I made a window in my card using my die & not my "gypsy girl"! I was so HAPPY to use my FAVORITE cartridge in the WHOLE world "Hello Kitty Greetings"! Did you know that Peachy Keen Stamps carries faces to go w/the Hello Kitty Cartridge? Well, they SURE DO! I totally LOVE this set because I ALWAYS have a hard time w/the tiny eyes & nose from that cart! The set of stamps is called "Super Simple Eyes & Nose" For my sentiment, I used my stamp set "Turn That Frown Upside Down", my FAVORITE HAPPY set!;)
Well, I decided to add pattern paper to it after all. I used my FAVORITE DCWV paper stack called "Playtime"! This stack is SOOO PERFECT because they are ALL patterns on Kraft color paper! I was in heaven when I first laid eyes on this particular stack!;) If you know me, you know that I have a thing for cute Polka dots so this is what I chose!

Super cute, Emma! Having the stamped frame around the sentiment makes the inside of the card just look so much more finished. :-)
ReplyDeleteCute cute card and what a great tip for using the die for a window. Love the plaid ribbon and stitch on your card, it goes great with your paper choice.
ReplyDeleteAdorable card, Hello Kitty is so cute. That's what I love about dies, that you can put them anywhere on the paper, whereas punches can only reach so far. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteSo cute and creative!! Great paper choice, and I love Hello Kitty:)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the Tip! I have that PKS Stamps. So Cute. Love your card.
