Friday Tip of the Day w/Miss Debbie

Good Morning Everyone!!! Debbie here from Bugjuiced with Debbie
I am super excited to be guest designing for Miss Emma. It is truly an honor to be asked! She is such a sweetie and I love her products. Today I wanted to show a way to utilize her MCT "Oval Stitch Die" in a different way! I made a shadowbox card and used the die to make a cute little flower!

For this card I used My Minds Eye "Lime Twist" 6x6 paper stack. Super cute papers in this stack with lots of colors! I used a special little polka dot piece just for Emma since she loves "Polkie dots"!

I cut 8 of the ovals to make the pedals. I inked them up because I am an ink junkie! I cut 2 more out of Kraft paper for the leaves and inked them real good with powder puff ink "green with envy". I just scribbled some veins on it with a sharpie.

I randomly placed the pieces using adhesive for each in the center. I had a cute little Pink button (which you don't see much) for the center. I used Emma's circle die from the MCT "Build a banner kit" because it was the perfect size for the peachy keen face and for the button. I crimped just with my fingers each petal and bent them up to add dimension. I love how it turned out. I used the sentiment from MCT "You had me at Chocolate" which I love these sentiments! The card is 5 1/2 x 5 1/4"
