GOOD MORNING & welcome to another Throwback Thursday Challenge!

~ Must make an altered item using your Cricut cuts!
~Must use any OLDER Cartridge of YOUR choice
~ Deadline for this challenge is June 6th @ midnight PST
~ link your project here to Mr. Linky , then leave a comment

For my project today, I decided to decorated this frame for my son's teacher! I have to say that this teacher is one VERY SPECIAL lady! She has taught both of my boys now & we ALL just ADORED her! Lastnight, Anthony wanted to buy her some flowers & a balloon for their last day of school today! Let me tell you, we will MISS this teacher TREMENDOUSLY!
Here are the supplies used:
Frame ~ Big Lots
Tape Ribbon, Burlap ~ Liz's Boutique
Sentiment ~ "So Grateful For You" stamp set
Cartridges used ~ "Don Juan" & "Plantin Schoolbook"
Here is my video on how I created this frame!

Now here is a QUICK "Gift Card Holder" I made for my other son's teacher! Since he is a "man" teacher, I was very limited on how I embellished this! lol...
Materials used:
Sentiment ~ "More Gift Card Sentiments" (will be back in stock on Monday, 5/28)
"Gift Card Holder Die" (will be back in stock on Monday, 5/28)
Mustache die ~ "What's Growing On?"
Paper & Book chipboard~ Fancy Pants "Off to School" kit
Like I said earlier in this post, This is the same teacher who taught my other son in 5th grade too! I just wanted to share w/you the frame I made for her 2 years ago! (We love her!) Now, Mrs. Elias will always have both of my boys w/her!;)

Okay, now onto our LUCKY winner who will win a pretty cuttlebug sponsored by the ONE & ONLY "Custom Crops"!!!
All I have to say is "Thank God" for random.org because there is NO way I can pick just one person out of ALL of you TALENTED crafters out there today! Okay, Can I get a drum roll please...........  Random.org chose:

  3. I really like the look of the burlap on your projects. Great idea with the letters on the clear background. Way better than trying to glue each onto the burlap.
I am thinking an embossing die with leaves like a bundle of 3 for roses that can be cut apart for singles??
