My Creative Time for Me Friday Tip of the Day

Debbie with Bugjuiced here for a few projects to share.
WOW has this year flown by right! I cannot believe we are just weeks away from Christmas and the year 2013. I am NOT ready for that. I am aging way too fast with this speed of things.

Today for Emma and "My Creative Time for Me" I made a cute little Christmas card using the stamp set "From Our Family to Yours".

I love the colors in this card and the cut little die cuts. Those stick santa's and trees are my favorite.

I also got my first Smash book with all the inspiration I get from Emma and her team so I included a few pages I just worked on and added some really cute pictures of my daughter when she was little. She is now 26 so I decided I really have to get serious about this scrapping and actually start scrapping things that matter to me and layouts which I am NOT good at but I am branching out and making a commitment. The smash book is going to be another extension of that. I bought mine at Michaels on sale in a "Folio Kit" so the book, washi tape, a few different stickers, small smash book and a little notebook were all included and for $11.99! The smash book has a nice little leaf/flower texture on the front and I love the colors!

I used the Polaroid die from "Just Simply Live" , Tag die set. I  just cut off part of the polaroid because I wanted the shape on the bottom and layered it. I also used the sentiment die that comes in the set "Just simply Live"  too and stamped separated the letters from the new font stamp set "Label Font" and cut them out individually and added to this little die cut area. I used ALOT of the sentiments from this "Just Simply Live" because they just all seemed to fit perfectly...I can see how smash book lovers will love this set.

I know I said I was going to show you a tip using Epsom salts and I DO plan to do that but I can't this week because I got so busy with the holiday and cooking that I failed to get the items I needed to show you this. So it will be on the next round I promise.

My Tip for the Day
I scour the internet to always look for things you might have missed or ideas for this or that. Today I really don't have any storage tips which I love to share I just found another recipe to make your own
homemade Versamark!! Click here

Also since it is holiday time and I LOVE those hershey kisses with the peppermint pieces in it I wanted to share a great website to find peppermint recipes. Like the drizzled peppermint popcorn!! And its super easy just a bunch of those hershey kisses melted and drizzled over the popcorn! YUM!!! Visit here!

Thanks for stopping and checking out my post today!

Hugs! Debbie

  1. Your Smash Book is gorgeous. I recently purchased one also, thanks to Emma :) I haven't started it yet but I think it will make a great addition to my scrapbooks. Also, I've decided to try a digital program to help me get caught up a little bit. Great projects and thanks for the sites.
