Teacher Gifts!

GOOD MORNING my creative friends AND "HAPPY HAPPY FRIDAY"! Today's post was "supposed" to be yesterdays post, but I was too tired to post it! lol..... Yesterday was my boys last day of school for Christmas break & OF COURSE, I waited "once again" for the last minute to put together gifts for all 9 teachers & principal included!
I wanted to first show you how I decorated a very PLAIN white gift bag! All I did was add 2 big bells along w/a red sheer bow w/the Gift Card Holder attached! I attached the Gift Card Holder to the bag just to give it a little bit more "HAPPIER" look! hehehe!
Okay, these are the goodies that were inside of the bag! Okay, out of the nine recipients, there were 7 lady teachers/principal. Soooo, I had to be creative & think of a NICE but affordable gift for ALL of them! I just didn't want to give them a gift card ONLY, I wanted to do a little more because I truly ADMIRE all of my teachers & my boys just LOVE to go to school EVERYDAY & that right there, means ALOT to me! So, while I was at my FAVE "Starbucks", I found this package that had 2 jars of "Chocolate Bites" & luckily, they happened to be 30% off! The first thing that came to mind was to open the pkgs & split them up & that's EXACTLY what I did! The 2 choices that were in the package were "Salted Almond Chocolate Bites" AND "Peppermint Cookie Chocolate Bites".  I printed the names of each one in my computer then used my Scallop & Stitched die set to cut them out! I just adhered them onto the top & I thought it was SIMPLE & PERFECTO!;) Then I used my favorite "Red Burlap" & simple wrapped it around the jar & tied some "Kraft Color Hemp" into a bow & BAM....a finished YUMMY gift to go into the gift bag!

For the next gift below, I picked up a couple of packages of 6 "Via Peppermint Mocha". I figured I would separate these to & individually "beautify" them! hehehe!;)  Not only did I have enough for the teachers, but I still have some leftover for some family members of mine too! AND the BEST part is that they were 30% off TOO that day
You have seen me make this before & I thought it would be PERFECT to house the mocha on this tag instead of just throwing it in the gift bag! What I did was put the mocha inside a CUTE "Teeny Glassine Bag" & attached it to my "Tag Die"! Then I used my "All Around Everything" stamp set & stamped Especially for You onto my "Scallop & Stitched Cirle Die set" & attached it to the glassine bag using pop dots! The CUTE Santa hat sticker was from Target! Last, I just added some red sheer ribbon & make a bow using some more "Kraft Color Hemp"! AND....there you have another CUTE & classy looking packaged gift for any occasion!
Okay, next is the "Gift Card Holder" I attached directly to the gift bag using my Tim Holtz "Mini Attacher" (or you can just use a regular stapler)!;) Didn't this come out SOOO CUTE??? This sentiment was PERFECT & it came from my "Gift Card Sentiments"! I also used my FAVORITE coffee cup die in the WHOLE WORLD & it comes in the "Coffee Break" set! I wrote each teacher's name on the cup & I thought this would be a CUTE way to ALSO utilize this as a Gift Tag as well!
I once again used the "Kraft Hemp" (which I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT) to make a simple bow around it! I just LOVE LOVE LOVE how it came out!
Here is my CUTIE PATOOTIE gift ALL packaged up & ready to give to the lady teachers! (BTW, which they absolutely LOVED) !;)
Are you still with me??? hehehe!;)
Okay, now onto the 3 men teachers, these were ALOT simpler! lol..... I picked up these HUGE hershey bars from Target & wrapped them w/pattern paper & attached a Subway Gift card to them! I then finished them off w/green sheer ribbon along w/my HEMP "again"! lol.... I used my "Stitched Curly label die" & layered it onto the regular "Curly label die" to make the gift tag! The "To & From" were from my "Just Tags" set!

DEFINITELY a SUPER SIMPLE gift for a man teacher! I decided NOT to use my gift card holder die because I don't think the men mind whether they get a regular gift card holder verses a PRETTY dressed up one! lol....
I hope you enjoyed these as much as I enjoyed creating these for my boys teachers! I have ALWAYS felt & STILL feel that a teacher has the most HARDEST job ever & are NOT recognized as they SHOULD be for everything they do for our children! I have been giving gifts to EVERY SINGLE teacher both of my boys have had since preschool. Let me tell you, it is ALL WORTH my time because just seeing BOTH of my boys faces just light up when I show them what I have made, just makes my heart happy because THEY STILL appreciate it! Even now that they are in 6th & 8th grades!
So just make sure you show your teacher that they ARE appreciated, not only for holidays, but throughout the year!
