Scrapping the little things!

Good morning my sweet friends & welcome to another "Scrapping the little things!" Today I have a page for you in my smashbook! I was very proud to document my son's HUGE accomplishment! He told me at the beginning of the school year that his goal was to work EXTRA hard because he "thought" all his teachers were going to be expecting alot out of him since Baby Aaron had the same teachers when he was in 7th grade! Of course, I told him that for him to just try his best & his teachers were NOT going to compare them. lol....... Well, he kept his word & received an award for this 4.0 status! He was SO HAPPY that he even had 3 A+'s too :). I have to say, I am TRULY VERY PROUD of BOTH of my boys! I wish the high school had award ceremonies, but unfortunately they don't :( . Baby Aaron is working his hiney off & I know he was struggling w/homework & LOTS of it since he has all honor classes, but he STILL managed to ALSO ace all his classes! As of right now, he has a 4.1667 GPA!  I just feel VERY BLESSED that both of my boys work really hard & they BOTH deserve these AWESOME grades! :) The BEST part is that I NEVER have to ask them to do their homework when they get home from school! As soon as they walk in the door, I have a snack ready for them & they take out their homework & work on it RIGHT AWAY!

Okay, enough about bragging about my boys....hehehe! ;)  Now when I did my smash book page for today, I was SO BUMMED that I did NOT take a picture w/Anthony! I was so worried about making sure he had pics w/my hubby & especially my parents, that I forgot about myself! lol.... oh well, next time! I just wanted to make sure I included my parents because they NEVER missed any award ceremonies my boys have had! YEP, they have been attending them since both boys were in kindergarten! I LOVE my parents because they are ALWAYS there no matter what. When my boys see them in the audience their beautiful little faces just light up the room!

I explained in my video how I put my page together below!

  2. Love the layout! You should be a proud Mom! Both of your boys try their BESt and that is all you can ask of them. The transition from middle school to high school is very tough, tell your boys to keep up the good work. Is Baby Aaron going to play baseball in high school if it is offered? Can't wait to see the new release!!!

  9. Congratulations to your son for all his hard work. I taught 7th grade Math, and those kids must work so hard to get all A's. School is so much harder than it used to be, so it really is a huge deal when they achieve those grades! What a perfect memory to scrap!
