Tag it Tuesday!

Good morning my sweet friends & welcome to another "Tag it Tuesday"! For today my team & myself were to create tags w/a Graduation theme! I don't really care too much for my tag because it really didn't come out as I visioned it in my brain! lol…… I heat embossed my "Script Type Backgrounds" stamp onto my tag using Hero Arts Clear Embossing powder, then I used my "Peerless Watercolor Paints" over that! Which, BTW, I will have to practice w/those paints because they did not come out how I had seen them in Miss Jennifer McQuire's video :( Her's were nice & BRIGHT!  As you can see, you can BARELY see it in my picture! :(  So I was ONLY supposed to used the Grad Hat Die ONLY from "Here's looking at you" set, but since I wasn't happy w/the background, I SERIOUSLY needed to cover it up some! I decided to just cut out a circle, then pop dotted my grad hat on top of that, then to tie it all in, I just added a couple of additional circles to just even it out some! (Circles are a little sneaky peek for you!)  Next I used my Hero Arts black embossing powder & just heat embossed my sentiment & 2014 which are both from my "Follow Your Dreams" stamp set!  Last I just added some black & white ribbon from May Arts & tied a bow using red hemp twine!  Well, that is it for my boring tag today! hehehehe ;)
This is it for me today. I didn't do my homework from the Watercolor class because I was a little disappointed w/those paints I used. I'm sure they are GOOD, but I think I just need to practice w/them & I hope they work better for me tomorrow! :)

Okay, now here are some REAL BEAUTIFUL tags here for you from my AWESOME design team! Don't forget to click on each name to visit each blog & leave them some BLOGGY LOVE!

Scrapping the little things!

Good morning my sweet friends & welcome to another "Scrapping the little things!" Today I have a page for you in my smashbook! I was very proud to document my son's HUGE accomplishment! He told me at the beginning of the school year that his goal was to work EXTRA hard because he "thought" all his teachers were going to be expecting alot out of him since Baby Aaron had the same teachers when he was in 7th grade! Of course, I told him that for him to just try his best & his teachers were NOT going to compare them. lol....... Well, he kept his word & received an award for this 4.0 status! He was SO HAPPY that he even had 3 A+'s too :). I have to say, I am TRULY VERY PROUD of BOTH of my boys! I wish the high school had award ceremonies, but unfortunately they don't :( . Baby Aaron is working his hiney off & I know he was struggling w/homework & LOTS of it since he has all honor classes, but he STILL managed to ALSO ace all his classes! As of right now, he has a 4.1667 GPA!  I just feel VERY BLESSED that both of my boys work really hard & they BOTH deserve these AWESOME grades! :) The BEST part is that I NEVER have to ask them to do their homework when they get home from school! As soon as they walk in the door, I have a snack ready for them & they take out their homework & work on it RIGHT AWAY!

Okay, enough about bragging about my boys....hehehe! ;)  Now when I did my smash book page for today, I was SO BUMMED that I did NOT take a picture w/Anthony! I was so worried about making sure he had pics w/my hubby & especially my parents, that I forgot about myself! lol.... oh well, next time! I just wanted to make sure I included my parents because they NEVER missed any award ceremonies my boys have had! YEP, they have been attending them since both boys were in kindergarten! I LOVE my parents because they are ALWAYS there no matter what. When my boys see them in the audience their beautiful little faces just light up the room!

I explained in my video how I put my page together below!

Good morning my creative friends & welcome to another:

I hope you ALL had a FABULOUS weekend because I sure did! ;) It was full of sunshine, baseball games & just hanging out w/my beautiful! I feel like I haven't done a video in like FOREVER, so I have a short & sweet one for you today! I am finally back on track & ready to get back into the swing of things! Also, I've had several emails asking when is my next release, it will be at the end of this month! If anything changes, I will let you know! My next release is going to be SO MUCH FUN that I cannot wait to share w/all of you!
Okay, onto my SUPER SUPER quick project! lol..... Basically ALL I DID was just add the banner to my picture & added the sentiment, then put it into the frame!
My son had received this frame as one of his gifts & I figured this was the perfect opportunity to put a picture into it! This is him holding an award from our district for: "Outstanding Academic Achievement"! Yep, all I have to say is that I could NOT have asked for better son's! I was blessed w/two of the BEST little boys EVER! ;) They both make my heart smile! I am one VERY PROUD Mommy! ;)

Scrapping the Little Things

GOOD MORNING & welcome to another "Scrapping the little things"! I hope you ALL had a GREAT weekend! Well, today I was happy to do a few pages in my smashbook! If I haven't mentioned before, I absolutely LOVE my smashbook because there are simply "NO RULES"! You can make these pages as simple OR more detail AND you can basically smashbook ANYTHING! When I first got my smashbook, I really wanted to document the little things that mean the MOST to me. I know, you are probably saying, "Why is she showing old Easter 2010 pics?" Why, it's because I just LOVE that my boys also appreciate the "little things" in life, just like their Mommy & Daddy! We can do something as simple as cook an AWESOME meal & watch a movie & at the end of the night, they say "That was FUN Mommy"!
I just HAD to smashbook these pictures because.....I just HAD to!;) This particular year "2010", Easter ALMOST didn't happen because the "Easter Bunny" was SOOOO SICK!:(  I remember I was in bed w/a fever & I had told the boys, "I heard the Easter Bunny was sick too!" & they said, "It's okay Mommy, the Easter Bunny has a BIG job & I am sure all the kids will forgive him if he doesn't visit any houses tonight!" OKAY, now how can you NOT come alive and do something, because that right there... was simply "priceless"! When the boys woke up Easter morning, they peeked in the backyard really slow & started yelling "Mommy, Daddy, the Easter Bunny DID come, poor guy, I hope he doesn't get more sick!"! Let's just say that I had 2 of the HAPPIEST boys on Easter morning! Just seeing those BEAUTIFUL smiles on their ADORABLE faces simple made my heart HAPPY!

Okay, onto my pages, for the title, I used my "Lower Case Fun Dies" (which I LOVE!). Of course, I had to use my new "Doily Dies" on BOTH pages along w/my Egg Dies from my "Hello Spring" stamp set! Both of the sentiments are from another easter/spring set called "Happy Hunting". The little banners I stamped the sentiments onto are from the "Vintage Label Dies". That green crinkly paper I actually had FOREVER in my stash & I finally used it! lol....

As you can see, I used more doilies and that cute tiny bunny coloring his Easter egg is also from "Happy  Hunting"! I used the number stamps from "Follow Your Dreams".

I tuck my cute little tag from "Just Tags" & stamped the little bunny from "Hello Spring" & drew lines on there myself for journaling. Then I just staple some green ribbon to it!  Isn't it the CUTEST journaling card ever? hehehe! I love it!

For today, my design team & I were all to use our new "Jar Dies" somewhere on our pages! I decided to stamp that bunny from "Happy Hunting" and add a piece of the doily to it to give it a different look & I LOVE how it turned out! I just glued the doily exactly where I wanted it, then cut off the excess. Again, the egg dies are from "Hello Spring" & the sentiment is from "Happy Hunting"!

All the papers I used were ALL from my SCRAPS!!! YEP, I was VERY PROUD of myself that I was able to make so many different papers actually "LOOK LIKE" they went together!;)

Now onto my FABULOUS design team. Don't forget to visit their blogs & leave them some L-O-V-E!

I hope you were ALL inspired to scrap something today! Don't forget we also have a NEW "FUN" challenge going on HERE! I  hope to see lots of you playing along~!

Thank you for stopping by & have a GREAT day my sweet friends! xoxo

12 Days of Christmas Day 8 ~ Episode 287

GOOD MORNING & welcome to the 8th day of our 12 Days of Christmas! Today is an EXTRA SPECIAL project for my Hubby & my Dad! I learned how to make silhouette pictures from these 2 lovely ladies I came across on The Craft Channel! Here is the link to the exact video: http://www.mycraftchannel.com/Shows/I-Heart-Faces/?omedia_id=375
This has to be the MOST EASIEST & personal sweet gift you can give to anyone special in your lives! The ONLY thing I had a little trouble with was trying to turn my pic into a silhouette! Unfortunately, after I finally figured it out, I printed out my pics & deleted them by accident:(  Lets just say that I will NOT be making anymore of these!! lol..... Giving this as a gift to my Hubby & my Dad is PERFECT enough for me!;)

For these ADORABLE tags, I used my "Build a Banner Kit"! The sentiment is from my "All Around Christmas" stamp set & "Daddy & Grandpa" is from my "You're my Best Buddy" stamp set!

SUPER DUPER easy, just use any clear jar OR an ornament, I chose a jar so my hubby can have it out year round rather than packing an ornament away & won't see it again til next year!;) Then you will need a cute Santa hat (optional)  & some kind of snow inside! It kinda almost looks like a snow globe!!!;)

I just LOVE LOVE LOVE how these came out!;) For my Dad's, I just used a diffent shaped jar & I still think it looks good! If any of you have those empty prima flower jars laying around, I think that will be PERFECT for this project as well!

Here is the video showing exactly how these were made!
