GOOD MORNING my sweet friends & welcome back to another "Thoughtful Thursday!"
Since it was both of my boys last baseball games for high shool, we took them out for a little bit!
Anthony's game was kind of bittersweet because one of the players from the opposing team twisted his knee weird & you can tell he broke it :( It was the most saddest thing to see & to just hear him yelling in GREAT pain. It was depressing. When situations like this happen, you totally feel the pain of that parent because this can happen to ANY of our children. We had to call 911 for him & it felt like the ambulance took FOREVER to get there :( This poor kid was SOOO uncomfortable because he could not bend his leg at all! After witnessing that first hand made me emotionally drained & he was not even my son. I am praying for a speedy recovery for that boy.

Great card. I do enjoy seeing your pictures and remember when my daughter was playing HS sports...so much fun. Waiting patiently for next week.

ReplyDeleteThat poor boy! I pray for a good outcome and speedy recovery too for him, but from the sounds of it he is in for a long haul, perhaps even surgery. It does drain you emotionally even when it isn't your son. I remember when a boy got hurt real bad on my son's football team. It just brought me to tears because you know what all those parents are going through, and you know how you would feel if it was your kid. Same thing when my oldest was deployed, men were missing from his unit, but they gave the names of the missing. I was so relieved it wasn't him, but I totally broke down at the school I worked at that morning because these men were someone's sons!!! Needless to say that didn't have a happy ending!! Yes, we hurt for all moms because we are a mom! Great card Miss Emma and the design team did a fabulous job as well!!! Hugs, Brenda
