Thoughtful Thursday

GOOD MORNING my sweet friends & welcome back to another "Thoughtful Thursday!"

Since it was both of my boys last baseball games for high shool, we took them out for a little bit!
Anthony's game was kind of  bittersweet because one of the players from the opposing team twisted his knee weird & you can tell he  broke it :(  It was the most saddest thing to see & to just hear him yelling in GREAT pain.  It was depressing.  When situations like this happen, you totally feel the pain of that parent because this can happen to ANY of our children.  We had to call 911 for him & it felt like the ambulance took FOREVER to get there :(  This poor kid was SOOO uncomfortable because he could not bend his leg at all!  After witnessing that first hand made me emotionally drained & he was not even my son.  I am praying for a speedy recovery for that boy.

Here is a pic of Baby Aaron's team for the last day of high school baseball :(  Our Varsity won 4-0

Here is a pic of Anthony's team for the last day of high school baseball :(  Anthony's team was down but the opposing team called the game after the injury so we actually won from a forfeit.

Okay, sorry I just wanted to share these pics I took!

Okay, now onto my card! This is an "oldie" but "goodie"!  You can see a video HERE exactly how created my card & the list of products I used!

Okay, like I said before, here is the BESTEST design team EVER!  DOn't forget to stop by each blog & leave love LOVE!! :)

I hope my team inspired YOU to create a Thoughtful Thursday card today AND don't forget to mail it off! :)

Thank you all for stopping by & can you even believe release week is NEXT WEEK already???  Since this was my Birthday month, we are having a FUN release this month!  I cannot wait to share everything with you starting this Monday at 12am PST!!! Don't forget to join us!!! :)

  7. That poor boy! I pray for a good outcome and speedy recovery too for him, but from the sounds of it he is in for a long haul, perhaps even surgery. It does drain you emotionally even when it isn't your son. I remember when a boy got hurt real bad on my son's football team. It just brought me to tears because you know what all those parents are going through, and you know how you would feel if it was your kid. Same thing when my oldest was deployed, men were missing from his unit, but they gave the names of the missing. I was so relieved it wasn't him, but I totally broke down at the school I worked at that morning because these men were someone's sons!!! Needless to say that didn't have a happy ending!! Yes, we hurt for all moms because we are a mom! Great card Miss Emma and the design team did a fabulous job as well!!! Hugs, Brenda

Prayers for the boy who was hurt and his family. It is so hard on everyone to witness that injury and pain. Great team pictures...your boys are growing up too fast! Is Aaron a Senior next year?
