Cook~N~Craft!

GOOD MORNING my sweet friends & welcome back to another "Cook~N~Craft!"
Today I have a couple of recipes to share with you AND a cute & simple tag!
First for my tag, I've been wanting to use this stamp set on this tag for a long time now & I FINALLY did it! :)  I used the stamp set "Hello You" & I just LOVE this little cute set! I stamped the image & sentiment on to my favorite "Just Tags" die set!

Before I share with you my recipes, keep in mind that I am a vegan so I will be sharing with you the recipes that I make for myself!  These recipes are SO GOOD that even my boys & my hubby LOVE them as well!  As far as the wings go, I usually make the cauliflower version for myself & they order the regular wings from our local WING STOP!  They will also eat these too so that's why I also make plenty so I can share! :)

This first one is one of my FAVORITES that I at least have once every other week & this is "Cauliflower Wings"....YEP,  you read that right....Cauliflower!  This is PERFECT for me because since I've become a vegan, I have missed....not so much the wings, but I have missed the sauce! There are so many of these recipes out there today, but THIS RECIPE is one of my FAVORITES!  This is not my original recipe, I grabbed it from one of my FAVORITE vegan you tubers "Hot For Food!".  You can find the recipe for these wings HERE! The ONLY thing I did different was after I did the wet ingredients, I breaded them with bread crumbs before I put them in the oven.
You can also find the recipe for this YUMMY vegan "Ranch Dip" in that same link with the Cauliflower Wings!  For the french fries, I have this AMAZING kitchen gadget that I use to cut my pototos & turn them into some YUMMY homemade french fries.  You can find this fun kitchen gadget HERE!  After I cut my fries, I just spray a "little" olive oil on them then add pink salt, paprika & pepper! SUPER SIMPLE, then I just bake them for around 40 minutes at 350 degrees!  I know this might be more of an appetizer plate, but this is usually lunch for me! ;)  I usually have carrots with this too, but I did not have any on hand this time around!

Next up here is this AMAZING vegan "Nacho cheese-less Cheese" sauce!  This again, is not my original recipe, I also grabbed this recipe from the "Hot For Food" blog HERE!  When I first made this, I did not tell my boys what is was made of!  Let's just say that they could NOT get enough of it! They absolutely LOVED it!  This bowl that is shown here is a snack I had using the leftover nacho sauce! I actually had to hide some leftover otherwise it would have been ALL GONE! lol....
I will show you on another day what it looks like when I prepare it for our dinner!  YEP, this is SOOO GOOD that we have it every Thursday for dinner in our house!  Don't forget to see the recipe HERE because you are NOT going to believe what it is made of!  AND not to mention it is SO HEALTHY for you at the same time! :)

Now onto my AWESOME design team!  Don't forget to click on each blog to leave them some LOVE! :)

  3. Hello Miss Emma :)
I have to say that I am loving this new feature on your blog! I am a diabetic...so I do have to watch the carbs and the sugars that I take in every day... and I am already picky as all hell and don't eat half of the foods that I am supposed to eat because I just don't like them by taste, smell or texture. So eating is hard for me because I am extremely limited on the variety of foods that I can eat. So I am finding this very helpful especially considering that you eat healthy and are a vegan. And now, my 13 year old daughter has addressed to me that she wants to become a vegetarian... and she's already so thin and skinny that I worry about her... I need her to eat all the foods that I cannot have and she wants to eat the healthiest of things LOL ... but anyways, thank you for doing this and sharing these recipes. I am definitely going to try and make your cauliflower wings because I absolutely love cauliflower .. and if you like wing sauce... have you ever tried the Mild wing sauce from Buffalo Wild Wings?? If you even have any of those around you... you can go to this link http://www.buffalowildwings.com/en/menu/ to see their sauces... but their MILD sauce is by far the BEST I have ever had. It is not too spicy as I cannot have spicy foods.. I know you love your spicy stuff... and they have 5 alarm sauces that are extremely HOT too.... but if you want a nice mild sauce not too spicy .. check theirs out. And as a tip... what I do is I take celery and cut it up... and I pour a little bit of ranch and a little bit of the Mild sauce from Buffalo Wild wings (as they sell bottles of it) and I mix them together and dip my celery sticks into that. I eat that as a snack. So if you miss out on the sauce you like but don't necessarily feel like cooking or whatever one day, Just try eating celery sticks with it. It is a great snack! Anyways.. thanks again for all you do and your tag is simply gorgeous! Hope you have a fantastic week!!
    Hugs,
    Jo
