Good morning my sweet friends. I wasn't sure if I was going to do this release or not.
The reason I am doing it is because release week was my father's FAVORITE time. Before he got sick, he would help packing up stamps & putting labels on the dies. When he saw me come in his house with my boxes of products, he would rub his little hands together & say "put me to work!". 😢 He was ALWAYS ready to help no matter how he felt. ❤️
This is our 1st day of sneaky peeks from our "112th Edition Release!" This is a small release consisting of 4 items. Since this is a small release, I knew I could handle it.
Today my team & I are showcasing 2 brand dies called: "4x4 Envelope Die" & "4x4 Fancy Card Dies"
I am really pleased with this release because I think all of these dies in this release are essentials. I LOVE shaped cards & I am happy to finally have a 4x4 size card die with a coordinating envelope die.
I really enjoyed making this set of cards using our new dies. I just LOVE how my card sets turned out.

DeleteSweet Emma, I believe your dad is right beside you, gleefully rubbing his hands together (I love that imagery!), and beaming with pride that you are continuing to do what you and he adore: creating amazing products to share with us! You've heard from many people that your feelings of loss will ebb and flow; let them. Sadness and joy will intermingle; you'll cry one minute and laugh the next, as you're flooded with memories. But...know he's watching over you every minute. Crafting is both your therapy and, perhaps more important, your connection to your dad. His spirit is with you.
ReplyDeleteFor what it's worth: my dad passed away on Dec. 30, 2014, on my parents' 56th wedding anniversary. From that day forward, every morning, I light a candle, open up a photo of my dad on my laptop, and he and I have 'coffee and a chat' together. It's a wonderful start to my day; a connection that I treasure. Maybe, a little 'tradition' like this will help you in the days to come...lighting a candle, jotting a memory in a notebook, writing down a 'feeling' word. A 'something' to give action/voice to what you're experiencing.
A long comment, yes...but I want you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.
Oh...and your notecards? Only adorable!

thanks so much for you sweet words. I have his ashes in my craft room with me so he can be surrounded by everything he built in there for me. I have a candle & mini waterfall right next to him to make it nice and peaceful. ❤️ I have my smoothie with him every morning.
DeleteLove these sweet little notes! Pretty layering and colors!

DeleteAbsolutely adorable notes! I just had a memorial dinner for my grandma last night it was so amazing to have all my family together to share memories of her 98 years here on earth. She passed away in January but we were unable to have a funeral and celebrate her because of COVID. I hope you are doing ok and you are in my thoughts and prayers! meghan.kennihan@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear you were able to finally have all of your family together to celebrate your grandma. I'm hanging in there, just trying to still make him proud of me. ❤️
DeleteCondolences to you and your family on the passing of your dear father. Thanks for the giveaway and I'm certain your dad would be so proud of you and your carrying on with something you love so much. Big Hugs! Donna: itsdonna35@hotmail.com
