MCT "Tag it Tuesday!"

Good morning my sweet friends & welcome to another "Tag it Tuesday!:

Before we get to Miss Emily's project, I just wanted to let you all know that I will be back this week with posting again!

I had a project planned for today, but instead I took yesterday off & spent it with my Mom.
Yesterday would've been my father's "94th" birthday. I can't believe he has been gone for 2 years now. 😢
Not a day goes by that I don't think about him & I still miss him like crazy.
I wanted to share this scrapbook page of one of the MANY birthdays we celebrated with my father.  Every year his request was for the 4 of us (my Mom, my sister, myself & him) to have lunch on his actual birthday no matter what day of the week it landed on. 😊 Of course the rest of the family always celebrated his birthday on a weekend! This was always his special day & we would take him any where he wanted to eat lunch! 🥰 ❤️❤️❤️

Now onto the talented Miss Emily's project! Today she is showcasing/featuring an oldie but goodie die set! It is our "Coffee Gift Card Holder". Since it is being "featured", it is available until Friday night at a small discounted price! :)
Click on Miss Emily's blog to see all the details of her ADORABLE project! :)

I hope you were all inspired here today! Thanks so very much for stopping by, have a FABULOUS day & I will see you all back here soon! :) xoxo

  1. Happy birthday to your father. I can see your mom and dad both in your face. You are both of them, of course. What a beautiful picture of you all!!! That was a great way to celebrate your dad's birthday each year, I bet you all made him so very happy. I lost my dad in 1997 and my mom 6 weeks before him. Not easy, is it? Imagine the JOY when we are finally called home! Lots of hugs, friend!
What a beautiful coffee cup Emily made, I made one as a card for my sister and she complimented me on it, and asked who it was from? I said Emma, of course, she knows I am a big admirer of yours with your dies. Lol Have a wonderful day.

  4. I love that you loved him so much, and miss him so much. He was a great dad, and that's why. I hope that you know that you are SO BLESSED to have had such a wonderful dad. Some of us didn't....but I'm always so happy for those who did have great ones. We can only use our experiences to be better for our own kids.
