With Hope, anything is possible!;)

WOW!!! TGIF!!! Hello my Creative friends! I am seriously having a late start today!;) This sure has been a LOOOONG never-ending week for me! Okay, now to continue w/my Birthday week here on my blog, I was playing w/my newest set "Race for a cure"! This is a very special set to me & I'm sure to many many of you out there today! By purchasing this stamp set, you are partnering with "My Creative Time" to help stamp out breast cancer. For each set that is purchased, My Creative Time will donate $2 to Susan G. Komen for the cure! They are available for purchase HEREI think this has to be my FAVORITE set by far! I just love EVERYTHING about it! I designed it so you can use it several differents ways! One is that you can stamp the sentiments perfectly into the large ribbon in this set & that's my FAVORITE part about it! For today's card, I decided to do a simple one showcasing this set! I used clear embossing powder to emboss those cute polka dot ribbons on the background & I also used black embossing powder to emboss the sentiment! The frame around the sentiment is from Lacy Labels & I used my gypsy girl to resize it so my sentiment can fit perfectly!

Okay, in honor of me turning the "BIG 40" on May 10th, I am giving away this stamp set to one lucky person! All you have to do is leave a comment here on this post & let me know what you think of this stamp set & what it means to you!

Thank you so much for joining me here today! Don't forget to check out my post from yesterday & make sure you leave a comment for an opportunity to win "My Little Firecracker" you can see that HERE! Also, head on over to my bestie's blog Miss Nikki & see what she has for you today!;) Also, make sure you check Nikki's & my blog everyday all the way til Tues (my b-day) because we will have a giveaway for you everyday til then!;)  See ya back here tomorrow! Have a FABULOUS day!;)

  37. Emma, Happy Early 40th Birthday!!! I would love to win this set. My mother passed away from breast cancer when I was 7 years old, almost 30 years ago. For the past 10 years I have done the Revlon Run/walk in Los Angeles to raise money for cancer research. This year is my 10th anniversary of walking for a cure. After the race I make scrapbook pages to remember the event. I have a whole album just for my Cancer run/walks. It is dear to my heart and I thank you for fighting against this terrible disease. {HUGS} -Yvette cre8tivegirls at yahoo dot com

  39. This is a great way to help fight cancer. My dad has a form of cancer. He has done better than we ever though in fighting it, and it has made us grateful, and not to take things for granted. Gorgeous card Emma!!!

  40. Emma, that card is beautiful, you showcased your new stamp set wonderfully. I can't wait to get mine. What I like about it is that it can be used for any type of cancer or used to encourage. I just lost my aunt to pancreatic cancer, my friend passed away from brain and lung cancer, my mother had throat cancer but THANK GOD they caught it in time and she is fine now. An aunt on my fathers' side is suffering with breast cancer and they could never operate because her heart and lungs are weak so now the cancer has spread. Two friends, one just lost her mother to pancreatic cancer and the other one just lost her father to lung cancer. Another friend had breast cancer, she was treated, now it came back but in her bones. O.K., you get the point. It is so devastating to lose anyone from any disease.

  41. Well said Emma. With hope, anything IS possible!

Sadly, I've known many people who have lost their battles with cancer. My grandfather most recently in March. Luckily, I know several survivors!! And I want to let them know I'm glad they're still here!

Thanks for following your dreams Emma. We all get to benefit!

  110. Emma, what a nice stamp!

    What a beautiful card!

This set means a lot to me because I'm going on three years as a Breast Cancer survivor. My mother was not as fortunate, she lost her battle after 8 years! I think if she had had it in the present she would have survived because of all the advances in medicine.

I hope soon no woman or man will die because of this dreaded disease.

Thanks for the chance to win this awesome set!

    Hugs!

  116. this is one of those stamps that will unfortunately touches many lives and many families. My aunt was a survivor for so many years, for as long as I almost remembered her, but she unfortunately lost the battle. My mom fights this horrible disease every year, and so far she is staying ahead of it.
