All I have to say is "TGIF"! Welcome to another "Friday Tip of the Day"! WOW, what a week! As all of you, I was under the weather this week:( I forget that once your kids go back to school, that's when all the germs get shared & they bring them home:( Sometimes it doesn't matter how much anti-bacterial you use, how many times you wash your hands.....it's just in the "air" at school & you have no control over that! Luckily my boys got sick, but just a little, nothing to the point where they had to miss school! Now for me, unfortunately it hit me the worst! I think it was a combo of my allergies as well! I am MUCH better now, I'm just dealing w/the itch in my throat~ where if I start talking, I get a coughing attack! (That explains the "no video" today)!;)
Well, these 2 items have been my BEST FRIENDS! I swear by these: Honey & Lemon! I usually take a tablespoon, equal parts: honey & squeeze fresh lemon & just eat it! hehehehe!! I'm telling you, it TOTALLY helps ME & it TOTALLY SOOTHES my throat!!! So, if you are NOT ALLERGIC to any of these items, I say try it out when you have a sore throat & it actually even helps w/my cough!
Sorry about the "boring" tip of the day! lol...... I'd just though I would share w/you what actually works for ME~! Anyhow, maybe this will help some of you out there today!
Thank you SO VERY MUCH for stopping by my blog today! Don't forget to tune in NEXT week for the BEST "Peachy Keen Stamps" sneak peeks EVER! I am SOOO HAPPY I am feeling better because I get to play!;)
AND, like I said on my facebook page, I have a surprise for you all to help celebrate something in September & to make up for all of you who have waited so patiently for your "Gift Card holder Dies"! I promise, once you get that die in your hand, it will be your BEST FRIEND!;) So be ready starting September 12th, we are going to have some FUN "My Creative Time" sneaks for ALL of you!;) I think this is going to be "for realsies" my FAVORITE!
Have a FABULOUS weekend! xoxo's

Emma,
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that you are feeling better. Elderberry juice mixed with orange juice is another wonderful remedy for sickness. That is what my family uses. I don't know if you can buy it at a health food store or not. I pick the berries and can them myself. Look forward to your post next week. You are terrific and so is your mom. I got my die super quick thanks to her!!
have a great weekend
So glad you are feeling better Emma! Honey and lemon works for me too!!!! Love and Hugs, Cathryn :)
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing boring about a tip that gets you back to good health. TFS
ReplyDeleteGet well soon, Emma. But, glad to hear you are better.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great old remedy tip. I live by my grandmother's & mother's old school remedies. I'm not that much of a perscription medicine person. If you need a little extra umph in your rememdy. Add a little tbl spoon of rum with warmed honey & lemon. Do this at night of course before sleep...lol. It's works too!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for your next release. You Go Girl! Smooches... Felicia
Glad you are feeling better Emma. Have a good weekend!
