Its Friday!!!
and this is a picture of me and my husband taking it easy after a long WEEK.
I'm the one with the patch over my eye!
He is tired from waiting hand and foot on me and I am busy working and
opening up a second store (totally different than the one I run now) and lets just say I am
totally wiped out mentally mostly from everything I need to get done!
And time for another Guest Spot for me and Tip of the day.
Emma is away at the Hospital with her son so please have her family in your
thoughts and prayers so that her little man will get well fast.
I wanted to do a little tag and card to show her I was thinking about her. We all know how
she loves her starbucks so I am hoping someone is bringing her
some at the hospital. So I used her Stamps sets:
I loved how this little tag turned out. And in honor of Emma I made a little
cup of coffee just for her!
WOW that is alot of product in one small tag huh! I love these shades. I used Kraft for the base
and just some scraps in a dark brown and a cream colored I believe these are both from Recollections.
I just used some sheer ribbon and a cream colored button and some jute.
I used the coffee cup stamp & sleeve from "You are Perk-fect" and did what I
HATE to do because I don't seem to see well enough but I paper pieced girls! I have a
cute little chef I am working on for another project and lets just say it was challenging for me to
do that.
I hope you like this tag as much as I do.
Next project I made a "Waterfall card" I guess I live under a rock and of course i have only been scrapping
for about two years now so I believe it or not do not know everything....that is out there! :)
I know I am quite the fountain of knowlege but this of course comes to me as a shock too
that I did not know what this was. I love these chocolate tones. I was planning on printing
some papers on my imagine from the "vintage papers" but guess what....I have to
send my imagine back :( This has been a good machine and I hated
to have to send it back but as you all may remember I have had problems for past few months
but provocraft was really good to me because it actually is a little past warranty but since
it was documented that I had called before they are still replacing it.
CLICK ON EACH PIC FOR LARGER VIEW
This "I love crafting caffeine & Chocolate" is embossed.
Its really is hard to get a picture of a waterfall card!
The brads I used I am in love with and have been hoarding saving
for the right moment! They are from BoBunny "Ectera" collection.
TIP OF THE DAY:
Now I can't take credit for this idea but listen i can be a brainiac all the time....a girl has
to take a break once in a while (Insert hysterical laughter here....you know you are laughing
at the fact that I just called myself a brainiac)
"Make your own stamp cleaner"
8 oz spritzer bottle
2 Tablespoons of liquid glycerin (found at any pharmacy/drug store)
1 Tablespoon of baby shampoo
Distilled water
Now you can use a tupperware container, or better yet a baby wipes container with the
lid and go to hardware store and get those "paint trimmer" pads and use it in the bottom
of the container for the scrubber.
I will try next time to come up with something real unique. I scour the internet
trying to always bring something that would really help you all or organizational
But even Martha probably has an off day! But she probably has pretty good days surrounding
by all that Martha stuff she has and her craft furniture....please don't get me started.
And since Miss Emma is always so generous and caring I wanted to
do a giveaway for all you loyal followers of her blog & products. I
just got in the new line from "Carta Bella" called "beautiful Moments"
If you please leave a comment on Emma's blog as well as
my blog Bugjuiced I will use good ole Random.org to pick a winner of
a 6x6 paper pad and maybe a surprise.
You will have until Friday July 6 and I will announce the winner on July 7th.
Thanks Everyone!
Deb
