GOOD MORNING my creative friends! I am SO EXCITED to announce our NEW bi-monthly challenges on my blog today! Every other Thursday, one of my FABULOUS design team members will host a NEWchallenge here on my blog! You will have 2 weeks to complete your projects before the next challenge starts! I am hosting our very FIRST "New Challenge" & I thought it would be fun to do a "Pinterest Inspired" challenge!
*********************************************
Here are the details for this challenge:
1. Use Pinterest for your inspiration by making ANYTHING crafty OR even if you see CUTE cupcakes/food items you want to try, I mean ANYTHING you see HERE that inspires YOU!
2. Please put the LINK of the website where you found your inspiration on your blogs! PLEASE do NOT post the original picture of your "Inspiration", ONLY the link to their website!
3. Please link your projects HERE below this post.
4. Deadline for this challenge is on Tuesday, September 4th @ midnight!
5. Last, but certainly not least......HAVE FUN!;)

Okay, now onto MY "Pinterest Inspired" project! I found my Halloween Party Inspiration from a website called "Handmade Art Fair"! You can see the original picture HERE!
Now of course, my hat didn't turn out as BEAUTIFUL as hers was, but I am happy w/mine & made sure I made it "my own"!:) You can see the list of items I used for my project below!
I'm not sure if I want to use it as a decoration OR wear it on Halloween? If I do decide to wear it, then all I have to add is an elastic string to keep it on my head!:)
Materials I used for my Halloween Party Hat:
~Party Hat cut out at 7" is from the "Artiste Cartridge"
~Purple Seam Binding Ribbon is from "Liz's Paper Loft Boutique"
~.05 Black Hemp is from "Liz's Paper Loft Boutique"
~Teeny Tag is from the "Teeny Tag Greetings" stamp set found HERE
~Sentiment is from "Treats for my Sweet" (will be back in stock on or before 8/31)
~The flowers are my "Rolled Flower Dies" found HERE
~Halloween Pattern Paper is by "Me & My Big Ideas" from Hobby Lobby
~Polka Dot Tulle & Black Boa is from Michael's!
Here is my video showing how I made my super cute hat!:)
Now onto my FABULOUS design team's "Pinterest Inspired" projects!

Emma, I had mixed emotions about discontinuing the "Throw Back Thursdays Challenges" it was always fun to have a reason to pull out the oldies but goodies cartridges that sit on the self collectin dust. But on the other hand, I love , love, love the overload of inspiration from Pinterest. I had a blast pulling out the sewing machine and sewing on paper! Definantly a new addiction. Thanks for a fun "NEW" challenge. It's so nice to have you back with us again:) Hope Baby Aaron got a clean bill of health and your family can relax and enjoy fall! Crafy Hugs, Debbie
ReplyDeletethanks for the fun new challenge it was lots of fun.. i do miss the old ones too!
