GOOD MORNING my creative friends! Today I have a special card for ALL OF YOU! Since I can't mail each & everyone of you this card, I wanted to share it w/you on my blog!
I explain in my video below how I put it together!
Good morning my sweet friends & welcome to another "Try Me Tuesday!" Today a few of my design team members & myself are trying a technique that is new to us which is "Faux Embossing!"
You can see how to create this type of technique here! I show you in my video below how I did this technique!
Wasn't this a FUN technique? I hope YOU all give it a try yourselves!
Thank you ALL for stopping by & I will see you all back here soon! :) Have a FABULOUS day my sweet friends! :) xoxo
GOOD MORNING my creative friends & welcome to another "Inspiration Wednesday!" Can you believe I actually made a card for you today! :) Feeling PROUD!
First of all, before I tell you about my card, I want to show you my inspiration picture. It is from my design team member "Miss Katie!" When I saw her card, I just KNEW I wanted to make one too! Keep in mind, this was my very FIRST time doing this watercolor thing, so mine didn't quite turn out "watercolorish" like Miss Katie's did! CLEARLY I need practice, but I kept it & didn't want to waste it! I know that I messed up because I should have brushed water onto my card stock first~! I saw that on Kristina Werner's video. But all in all, I can live w/how it came out! :)
First I heat embossed everything onto my water color paper using white embossing powder! Next I "watercolored" onto it & heat dried it. Last popped up a button & used pop up tape to attach it to the base of my card!
WOW!!! My team has once AGAIN blew me away w/their creativity!
I hope WE inspired you today! Thank you so much for stopping by & have a FABULOUS day my sweet friends! xoxo
GOOD MORNING my creative friends & welcome to another "Totally Treats Tuesday!" WOW! yesterday was such a SUPER BUSY day for me. I just have to throw this out there before I continue, for those of you that have more that 2 kids, I take my hat off to YOU! I don't know HOW YOU DO IT! I can't believe how busy my "TWO" boys keep me! Yesterday was the last day of conferences at my son's school so that meant he was off early! So I kept busy w/Anthony until I had to pick up Baby Aaron from school later that day! After discussing how both of their days went, I made dinner, chatted w/my hubby, then we were OFF to Anthony's late baseball game! By the time we got home, I was EXHAUSTED! This is why you are not seeing a "new" project from me today :( I am actually posting a treat that I had made LAST year! So if you have NOT seen it yet, then it's DEFINITELY NEW TO YOU! :) You can see more details & a video showing how I put this FUN treat together HERE!
I hope you ALL are inspired to whip up some treats of your own today!

GOOD MORNING my sweet friends & welcome to another "My Favorite Stamp(s) of the month"! Okay, if you are new to my blog, once a month I pick a couple of my FAVORITE stamp sets that I have released in the past that "may be NEW to YOU" & I offer free shipping on them for a limited time! The way it works is that in order to get the free shipping, you must order these 2 stamp sets either together OR a la carte! If you include any other items in your cart, the free shipping does NOT apply! Hope this makes sense! :)
For this month, I chose these 2 sets to be my FAVORITE STAMPS of the MONTH! They are "Mixed Holiday Sentiments" & "Piles of Smiles"! For my tag today, I used "Mixed Holiday Sentiments"! I just LOVE how it came out. You can see a list below w/links to what I used for my tag today. You know how I always tell you that I want you all to get the MOST out of my dies? Well, if you have my "Stitched Boots Dies", you can totally make them into Santa boots!!! Aren't these the CUTEST EVER? When I first designed these boots, KNEW when the holidays got closer that I wanted to make little cute Santa boots! This was SUPER EASY to make, I just stamped the little scroll paper onto some pattern paper, cut it out & used pop dots to adhere it down! But before I did that, I stamped "Santa's list" on first! Added the cute little paper clip from Tim Holtz, the sequins, the boots & last the ribbon, button & twine!
Here are our 2 "FAVORITE stamps of the month!" We are offering FREE SHIPPING on these 2 sets ONLY! Starting now, Nov 6, 2013 through Fri., Nov 15, 2013! To take advantage of the free shipping, you might want to order these "a la carte"! or BOTH of them together! If you order any other items w/these, the free shipping will NOT apply! :)
I hope you enjoyed our projects for you today! I will see you all back here tomorrow & HOPEFULLY w/a video! (fingers crossed) Have a FABULOUS day & THANK YOU for stopping by! xoxo
Hello My Creative Time friends. This is Glora from Glora's Crafts and I get to host the new Designer Challenge. The challenge is to make any kind of project so long as it has a THANKSGIVING THEME and uses some My Creative Time products.
I had a blast with this challenge. My mind was going crazy thinking of sorts of fun possibilities on how to use Emma's current dies to make a turkey. I love the little turkey gift bags and I hope you do too.
Everything on the topper of this treat bag was made using Emma's products other than the little Critter Faces (size small) by Peachy Keen Stamps. Just in case you ever want to make these I'm going to list what I used. First let's start with the products that are the same for both turkey treat toppers. The green piece is My Creative Time's Stitched Doily Die. The brown turkey base is the bunny die from the To My Best Peep stamp and die set (I just cut off the bunny ears). The sentiment on both of them is from the new Teeny Tag Holidays stamp set.
On my girl turkey I used both layers of the Scalloped Stitched Rosette Dies for her tail feathers. I have seen some of the other My Creative Time designers use rosettes for tail feathers on turkeys and thought it looked really cute. To make her little hair bow I used the tiny little hearts you get when you cut the olive pick on the Cocktail Party Stitched Dies.
The tail feathers on the boy turkey are the bunny ears from the To My Best Peep bunny die. I used the present die from the new All Around Holidays set for the hat. I just trimmed off the bow and cut another hat in red and trimmed it down so I could layer it on top.
I hope these give you some fun ideas. I know that my design team sisters have made some AMAZING projects for this challenge to help inspire you. I hope you will join in the fun challenge too. I can't wait to see what you make! Don't forget to click on each of the designer's names to visit each blogs!
I have a SUPER SIMPLE card for you today! The funny story about my card is that I actually had a dream about it! hehehehe!! The GOOD part about that was that I already knew what I was going to make for this "Thanksgiving" challenge! :) Well, in my dream, I saw this on a front door of someone's home & that explains the TALL card. The final size of my card is 3x7, which will fit into a business size envie. I used my set called "Piles of Smiles", one of my FAVORITE fall sets to date! The cute little stitched leaf dies are included in this set, so that is what I used to make the shape of my wreath. The sentiment is ALSO from this set which I thought went PERFECT! The card base was white cardstock from papertry inc & the pattern paper for my leaves are from the Pumpkin Patch stack DCWV 6x6 paper pad. I used popdots to pop up my leaves & last I added stickles to them to finish it off.
I hope you enjoyed ALL of this FABULOUS inspiration from my design team! I can't wait to see what you ALL make for this FUN CHALLENGE!
