What a Treat Wednesday!

Good morning my sweet friends & welcome to another What a Treat Wednesday! Today Miss Brigit & Miss Ruthie has the most GORGEOUS treats for you today!! Click on each name to visit each blog!

I hope you all enjoy Miss Brigit's & Miss Ruthie's FABULOUS treats today!!!

Okay, I had every intention on making a treat for today, but Anthony had a game!  When we came back, my boys told me that they ran out of cereal & milk.  Then I realized that we needed more bread too!  So, since I make this for them...it takes a LITTLE time to prepare so I had to do my motherly duties! ;)  Of course I could've rushed to the store & picked this up, but I'd rather just make it!

Ever since I purchased my bread machine last year, we LOVE LOVE having fresh bread! the boys LOVE having their sandwiches for lunch on this bread instead! Now, if I absolutely have NO time to make the bread, of course I will buy it, but 90% of the time I make it! Using only 6 ingredients is awesome to make this yummy bread! I use the recipe book that comes with the machine!
I picked up my bread machine from Amazon HERE! I was surprised that it was a decent price!  Well, here is what my bread looks like & I LOVE that Bamboo Slicer  that I use to help slice the bread for sandwiches.

Next I made some almond milk which is SUPER EASY to make! All I use is
~ 1 cup of almonds
~ 4 cups of water
~ 2 dates
~ 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
I use my vitamix blender & mix it all up, strain it through a nut bag & now you have a non-dairy FRESH yummy milk! It literally ONLY takes 2 minutes to blend. It's best to use a high power blender! I had to put the milk in these 3 separate jars because I had some juices in my bigger milk jar!

Last I made them granola cereal! Of course, I failed to take a picture of mine, but this is what it looks like AND this is the recipe I used! It is SOOOO YUMMY!  I usually go between 3 different granola cereals for the boys, but this one is my FAVE!  You can see the FULL recipe HERE!
I usually have this cereal with sliced bananas & the almond milk which makes the PERFECT breakfast!  My boys LOVE granola cereals & I have not purchased any cereal from the store for at least 7 months now! FRESH is way better for you!

Okay, I hope you didn't mind me sharing this with you!

Thank you ALL for stopping by, have a FABULOUS DAY & I will see you back here tomorrow! :) xoxo

  5. Looking at the other makers...in comparison yours was a great price and a much better maker. 3 size loaves and adjust the color and convection I think it was. The cereal and milk look quite yummy too. The boys need to give you more warning when they are running low...hope you were not up all night making bread and cereals. Can you make 2 batches so you can make more when bag two is opened?
Great treat projects by Miss Brigit and Miss Ruthie...they were adorable...wonderful job ladies.
