Scrapping the Little Things!

GOOD MORNING my sweet friends & welcome to another "Scrapping The Little Things".

I am SUPER EXCITED to do a scrapbook page for you! I feel like it's been FOREVER since I have done one.   For those of you who have been following me, you know I LOVE 8x8 size pages & that's the size of the one I created here for you today! 

We celebrated my Mom's "70th" birthday a couple of weekends ago & I thought this was the PERFECT page to scrap!  My Mom is the one in the lower right hand corner & my Dad is to the left of her!  She was able to celebrate this SPECIAL day with a few of her close friends a.k.a. her "SQUAD"....lol... ;)  I just LOVE how my page turned out!  You can see in my video exactly how I put it together!  I also give you all a little tip on how to cut out your intricate dies perfectly! :) 

FYI, I did have to rush on my video because I didn't realize that my camera needed to be charged :(  My camera takes FOREVER to charge so I figured a short video would be better that no video at all...right? ;)

"Do Over" Thursday!

GOOD MORNING my sweet friends & welcome to a "Do Over" Thursday! 

Well....my card is not quite a "do over" :(  I looked at the wrong date on our schedule & made a "Thoughtful Thursday" by accident.  I swear I think this heat is getting to me!!! We have been experiencing, (which I'm pretty sure most of you are) some REALLY high temperatures :(  Usually if the boys were in school, I would SOOO STAY in my home, but since they are off, we have been out & about~!  I'm not sure if this is even possible but I feel like I am getting HEAT headaches! lol..... I am trying to hang in there because my boys have a pretty BUSY schedule this summer! Let's just say that I WISH we can just FAST FORWARD to fall already! ;) 

Well, now onto my "non" do-over card! lol.... ;) 

I kept this card real simple by using a few of my products that I thought turned out pretty cute all together!  I had a piece of acetate on my craft table so I was able to make this into an A2 size clear card base!  I just used my More Stitched Rectangular Dies & layered my balloon using the Big Hello Die along with the sentiment from You are my Sunshine!  Then I pretty much did the same concept with the twine like you saw me do in yesterday's video!  Lastly I just added some sequins from Pretty Pink Posh! :)

MCT 56th Edition Release Sneaky Peek #3

GOOD MORNING my sweet friends & welcome back to day 3 of our sneaky peeks for the 56th Edition Release!!! I am HAPPY about this new set of dies because there is ALOT you can do with these!  This new set comes with a total of 4 dies & it's called "Sentiment Label Dies".   

For my card today, I used 3 out of the 4 label dies & just layered them on top of each other, then added my Big Hello Die! SUPER SIMPLE....but FUN! :)

Manly Monday!

GOOD MORNING my sweet friends & welcome to another "Manly Monday!"

First of all, I hope you ALL had a FABULOUS Easter Weekend!  We celebrated at my parents house on Saturday with my sisters, nieces & nephews! It was a BLAST like ALWAYS!  Then on Sunday, we all just stay home & celebrate with our own families! :)

Okay, now onto my "manly card".  Today I used a couple of my older FAVE sets…"What's Growing On" & "Oh Dear" along with our new "Big Hello Die".  I also used my FAVE "More Stitched Edges".  I thought my card looks pretty "manly"…….right???  It took EVERYTHING in me NOT to add sequins~! lol…… You can see in my video below exactly how I put my card together!
