MCT "3-D Wednesday!'

GOOD MORNING my sweet friends & welcome to another "3-D Wednesday!"

today is the day that my team & I showcase 3-D projects.

I am still not feeling 100% & I really wanted to get in my craft room so I did.  BUT,  I was not able to make a video, so I thought I would take pictures of the process.  I hope you enjoy them.



This 1st picture is of everything I used.  I forgot to add the arhival ink I used for the sentiment :(





To create the pocket, I used my fave Glossy Accents to adhere the 2 larger hearts together.  Hopefully you can see in the picture exactly where I put the glossy accents.





Now that the 2 hearts are adhered together, next I just popped up the last heart die.





Now that the heart is popped up, it's time to pop up the sentiment that I fussy cut!




Then, here is the final!  Lastly I added some purple twine for hanging purposes and I added some Valentine conversation hearts on the inside!





Since the inside part is not that big, you can also use M&M's.  I think that would look cute too. :)

Hello, my name is Gaylynn Martling. I am a wife and Mom to two adult children. When my kids were young, I would scrapbook my family. Later, a few friends introduced me to stamping and card making. We would get together and crop monthly. And so began my creative journey and love of card making. I found My Creative Time by winning a stamp kit of theirs from an online craft challenge. From then on, I have been a fan of MCT, obtaining quite the collection of which I reach for over and over again. It is an honor to design for MCT. I cannot wait to see what the next few months have in store.

My name is, Kendra, I live in Wisconsin with my high school sweetheart and our two fun energetic kids!!! I’m a SAHM in winter and work landscaping in summer! When I'm not spending time with my family, I have a passion for flowers!! As well as crafting! I started scrapping 17 years ago as both my husband and I raced at a local race track and I wanted to keep track of our wins and photos. From that it grew into a HUGE obsession! I started scrapping everything and then just over 11 years ago got into making all my own cards! I'm super excited to be joining the MCT DT!!

Hello! My name is Laurie and I’m super excited to be a part of the My Creative Time team!! I have been a huge fan of Emma’s products for so long! I live in a small town in Manitoba, Canada with my husband and two fur babies, Emmie and Francis. I started paper crafting in 2013 when I decided to make our wedding invitations. I started with a Cuttlebug, one embossing folder and one stamp set. Little did I know that this would become a bit of an addiction and also a form of therapy! My craft room is one of my favourite places to be. To support my crafty habit, I work part time as a Dental Assistant.

MCT 63rd Edition Release Sneaky Peek #1

GOOD MORNING my sweet friends & welcome to our first day of our sneaky peeks for our 63rd Edition Release!!! I am BEYOND EXCITED about this week's sneaky peeks because they are SO ADORABLE & SUPER EASY to put together!  You will be cranking out treats in no time at all! :)  

Just wanted to quickly let you know that everything we are showcasing today & tomorrow will be available for purchase this Friday, Jan 20, 2017 at 8am PST! :) 

Today we are showcasing 2 new dies!  The first set is "Treat Label Dies" & the next one is "Treat Pouch Die"!  For my first treat, I put 3 heart DOVE chocolates in here! There are so many options on what you can fill this with! 

I also used a sentiment from "Chalkboard Valentines" which fit PERFECTLY onto this new label die! 

This next one I put a tea bag in it!  If you fold the sides down, it will fit perfectly!  I used my FAVE "All You Need is Coffee" for this treat! I LOVE how this came out!

3-D Wednesday

GOOD MORNING my sweet friends & we are welcoming back "3-D Wednesday!"

This is the day that my team & I will create any other project but a card!  It will even include treats as well! 

So, for my project, I decided to do a gift card holder!  I had gotten a question last year about how we can get the shaped gift cards that Starbucks offers into a gift card holder! So, here it is my friends! You can see in my video below how QUICKLY this came together! :) 

Here is the cute 3x3 envelope all closed up! 

This is how I attached the heart shaped gift card to my heart die & it fit perfectly into my 3x3 envelope die! :)
