GOOD MORNING my sweet friends & welcome to another "Inspiration Wednesday!"
Sorry for not having a video for you today, I just didn't feel like fighting w/it today! lol…
For my card today, I was inspired by my new watercolors I had gotten a couple of weeks ago! I CAN'T BELIEVE it took me 2 weeks to use them!!! lol…. OMG…I LOVE them! The colors are BEAUTIFUL & I LOVE that there is a bronzy, gold & pearl color in this set!
I just LOVE that greenish color I used on my card because w/my other watercolors, I would always have to mix colors together to get this! I also used that bronzy color to paint a frame around my cutie patootie dear from my set "Oh Deer". I basically just did a wash of color for the background then painted a frame for my deer! I used pop-dot to adhere it to my card then added that cute little heart to him! Next I added my sentiment from this same set, then adhered it to the base of my card. Last I added some cord I had in my stash & tied a simple bow to finish it off! OH, I also added glossy accents to the little heart! This is a pretty simple & easy card to throw together! I forgot ONE MORE THING I did, I also used my tim holtz tool to distress the edges of my card! :)
