Guest Designer: Tracy!

Hi everyone!! Tracy here from Tracy's Cricut Corner.  I'm filling in today for Emma who is taking some time off to be with her family and take care of Little Aaron.  

Today I made a card to share with you using the From My Kitchen Cartridge along with Emma's stamps and dies.

I just LOVE this retro phone!! It is sized at 2.75".  And yes I DO remember them!! :)  The sentiment is from MCT's  "Just a Little Note to Say" set.  And the flowers are made with the Flower Petal dies.  For the center of the flower I used a little EK Success punch I picked up at Walmart.  I inked around everything with my favorite TH distress ink~Tea Dye.  

And since it is Friday I thought I would include a little tip of the day!  I don't know about you but storing paper is one of my biggest challenges.  I have limited space to work in so making the most out of my area is important!  But I am lucky to have a whole corner upstairs to myself along with a linen closet (which is full!)  to store my stuff in. 

    

Anyway......I just wanted to share how I store my 12X12 paper pads. 

I found these things at Hobby Lobby, 10 of them come in a pack.  They are priced at 9.99 (at least they were at the time!), and they were on sale for 50% off so I picked up 2 packs.  

When I open a new 12X12 pack of paper I store it in one of these along with any scraps I may have.  That way it is all together.  I store them upright in my closet and they are very easy to

 flip through!

Favorite Stamp(s) of the month!! ~ "Just a little note" & " My favorite Sayings"

GOOD MORNING my creative friends & welcome to another "My Favorite stamp(s) of the month"! Today, my team & I are showcasing 2 another favorite sets of mine! I would've made "Fresh" cards w/these sets, but I am working w/one eye today:( I woke up w/a nasty eye infection so that's why I am showing you "Previous" cards I had made w/these AMAZING stamp sets!

This first one is "Just a Little Note", which I just LOVE!!! This is the PERFECT set to make a card & it would make anyone's day! My CUTIE little spaceman card has 2 sentiments from this set.... one on the outside & one on the inside!

I just HAD to show one more sample of this set! This card was made by Miss Nikki & it is one of my FAVORITE cards from her & I think she showcased this stamp set to PERFECTION! (Thank you Nikki Navy Wife) hehehe!;)

These next two cards were made using the set "My Favorite Sayings"! Basically, this set is EXACTLY what the title states.... they are ALL my FAVORITE sayings!

Guest Designer Wednesday!

Good morning my Creative friends & welcome to another "Guest Designer Wednesday"! I have 2 of the SWEETEST ladies as guests today here on my blog! They are a mother ~ daughter team!;) Many of you know this AMAZING lady as the "BEST BLOG DESIGNER" in the entire world....... AND a very GOOD friend of mine.....Miss Veronica w/Vk Design Company and joining us also is her SUPER SWEET Mom, Miss Terri w/Terri's Treasures! I have known Miss Veronica for a few years now & I was very lucky to meet her last year @ CHA AND we were even roommates!;)  I have never met her Mom "in person", only through blog/internet land but all I have to say is that she is SOO VERY sweet as well! I remember when Veronica & I met up @ CHA, her Mom had given us both these CUTE little Angel charms to keep us both safe while we were in Chicago! I thought that was ADORABLE & very SWEET of her! I still have that charm on my stylus that belongs to my "Gypsy Girl"!

Here is the card Miss Veronica made! Isn't it ADORABLE!!! She used "Just a Little Note to say.." for her sentiment AND the cute banner she stamped it in is from "My One & Only" stamp set!" Guest Designer for Tacky Tuesday Challenge!

Good morning my Creative Friends! I hope all of you had an AWESOME 4th of July weekend! My men & I had a GREAT weekend, too bad weekends have to end so soon:(  Well, for today's post, I was asked by Miss Ruthie, one of my designers to be a guest for her "Tacky Tuesday Challenge"! I was honored & was HAPPY to create something for her today! For this challenge, we were to incorporate a "Cool Treat" (ice cream, popsicle, shake etc..) and the word "Sweet" in our sentiment for our project today! So this is the simple card I came up with! For my ice cream, I use a Market Street stamp set called "Aint no Sunshine"! For the ice cream cone, I made that myself!;) For my "Sweet" sentiment, I used my stamp set "Just a little note to say..."! I thought my card came out cute:) What made it even CUTER, was the stamp set I used from my beloved "Peachy Keen Stamps", for the face I used "Princess Face Asst"! Doesn't my ice cream look ADORABLE? hehehehe!! I sure think so!;) I hope you enjoyed my card today & don't forget to head on over to Miss Ruthies blog to play along w/the challenge for another opportunity to win one set of my stamps!

***Use ANY "Cricut Lite" cartridge of YOUR choice & PLEASE incorporate some "BLING" somewhere on any project of your choice! Example, your project must have either, stickles, rhinestones, glossy accents, glitter.... etc...!
IF YOU DO NOT OWN ANY LITE CARTRIDGES, USE ANY "OLDER" CARTRIDGE YOU OWN!

*** Link your project up to Mr. Linky, then leave a comment!

*** Deadline for this challenge will be on Wed, June 22nd!

*** ONE project per person please!

Okay, for my card, I wanted to convince myself & my friend Katie, that we didn't need "Elegant Edges"! lol.... ONLY because I seriously cannot afford to get every single cartridge that comes out! So, when we were at our circle crop, I designed this card in my gypsy & this is how it came out!;) That Fabulous pattern paper is from a stack by "Fancy Pants" called "Over the Moon"! I picked it up at the BEST scrapbook store EVER called "Green Tangerines"! For the sentiment, I used my stamp set called "Just a Little Note to say"! Now, did you notice that ADORABLE face?? Yep, it is Peachy Keen's "Boy Mates Asst" stamp set! This is a "MUST HAVE" CUTE stamp set! Especially if you have little men in your life!;) I think it's safe to say that I LOVE how my card came out!:)

The inside of the card's sentiment is also from "Just a Little Note to say"~!

Now onto the BESTEST DESIGN TEAM EVER!;)
First up we have my Bestie, Miss Nikki! Isn't her card AMAZINGLY ADORBS??? I just LOVE Nikki's style, very simple, clean & PERFECT!!! She used my stamp set "Happy Homecoming"! This card is proof that this stamp set is so "versatile" that you do NOT only have to use it as a "military" set!

Next up we have the TALENTED Miss Cathryn! Okay, is this not the CUTEST little pirate EVER??? He's so cute, I just want to squeeze him!!;) For her sentiment, she used "My Favorite Sayings!" I think this sentiment went perfect for her card! I wish that ice cream cone was in "MY" hands right now!;)

Next up, we have another talented lady, Miss Katie! I REALLY need to see what cartridge she used for this because I have never seen that ADORABLE little "snorkler" anywhere in my cartridge library!! ;) She used "Have Fun in the Sun" stamp set which went just PERFECT w/her ADORABLE card!

Last, but "Certainly" not least, the Ever so Talented, Miss Ruthie! This card is SOOOOO ADORABLE! I can tell that she used another one of my FAVORITE lite carts "Twinkle Toes"! For her card, she used "My Little Firecracker" stamp set!

For my card I used my "New" FAVORITE stamp set in the WHOLE World "Faceless Bugs"! I told you that this was going to be my new "GO TO" set & I REALLY think it's SO ADORABLE! I used a square & a scalloped punch & they both are from Stampin up.The pattern paper is also from Stampin up! The kraft, black & linen color cardstock including the ribbon is from my FAVORITE, Papertrey Ink! That sentiment is from my stamp set called "Just a Little Note"! I also inked up all the edges w/Tim Holtz photo ink! I wasn't sure if I liked my card or not! I made it exactly how I visioned it & after really staring at it for a long time, I think I LOVE it! I embossed my sweet little bugs as well as my sentiment!
