Good Morning My Creative Friends! Welcome to another Throwback Thursday challenge AND welcome to the "Random Act of Kindness" Blog hop! Wow, I was excited when Miss Joy over @ Joyslife.com had asked me to be a part of this blog hop! For those of you who are new to my blog, I host throwback thurs challenges for us to use our OLDER carts! There are just so many new ones out there today, that our older carts are feeling neglected! lol... So, for this week's Throwback Thursday challenge, what I would like you to do is make an "Animal" theme project! I decided to use "Everyday Paper Doll" cartridge for my card!
Now, for my Random Act Of Kindness, I plan on taking my boys down to the animal shelter & have them play w/the puppies/kitties! How often do those poor little furry babies have visitors come to play w/them! Good thing I know someone who actually works for an animal shelter, so this is going to be fun! My boys are VERY EXCITED to do this also! Don't worry, we won't be bringing home another puppy only because my furry babies, "Angel" & "Scrappy" will NOT be happy campers!! lol....
So, with that said, we are asking all of "You" to go out & do something kind for someone or something like maybe for your community or a special cause! I would LOVE to hear from you on what you plan on doing OR what you have done already!;)
Here are the specifics for my challenge:
****Link your project up to "Mr. Linky" below
****Challenge is based on "ORIGINALITY"
****Must be an "ANIMAL" theme project!
****Use "Every Day Paper Dolls" cartridge OR if you do NOT own this cart, feel free to use any older cartridge you have!
****Must be an ORIGINAL project made especially for THIS challenge
****ONE entry Per Person Please.
****Deadline for project will be WEDNESDAY, OCT 20th @ 6:00pm PST
****Last but Not Least~ HAVE FUN!!
I forgot to mention that I used my Creamy Caramel market from Stampin up to trace over the lines on him!;)
Giveaway sponsored by My Pink Stamper for this Blog Hop /Challenge! Random.org will choose the winners on Wed., Oct 20th!
Thank you SOOOO much for stopping by! Here is the list for this FABULOUS Blog hop for you to follow & hop along w/us!;)
Emma (Me)

ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite things to do is pay for the persons order behind me in drive thru lines like Starbucks! I try to do that at least once a week. It's just nice to know that you are putting a smile on someones face!

What a cute card, love the puppy! I make about 100 cards a month for the Operation Write Home project. Just finished another box of Christmas/Holiday/New Year/Miss you cards that I will mail this morning.
ReplyDeleteLove your card! It's so cute! I don't know if we could go play with the shelter animals without coming home with them! It is also nice to remember that shelters like donations of things too, I know a local one likes the Styrofoam trays that meat comes on to feed the baby animals...
ReplyDeleteI randomly do this and I will be on the look out. If a homeless person asks for money to eat. I tell them I will meet them at the nearest restaurant and buy them their lunch. My dad taught us to not give$$$. If they really need food they will be surprised and grateful for the offer.

Cute Card, what a great thing to do for the puppies and kitties, my son , since he was 5, for his Birthday party, he would always ask his friends to bring dog food and cat food instead of a gift for him....he will be 18 this year and still does it, a liuttle small guest list but, every bag helps...

What a cutie-patootie! I donate large bags of dry dog and cat food once a month at a no-kill shelter here. The shelter also has a thrift store attatched and while I am there I pick up a couple toys for my neighbors little girls. She is a single mom and having a hard time. I drop off the toys while she is at work and love to watch the little girls get out of the car and run for the porch. It just makes me smile.

ReplyDeleteI actually just donated a bunch of my sons toys to the Christmas charity through my older boys H.S. they take slightly used toys and wrap them up and give them to the needy children in our area..... My youngest had a brand new bike which he only road twice.... he does not like riding it sooo they got that and were thrilled to see a bike that looked brand new... :o) Of course we take care of our kids toys so they all looked brand new... I know some little boys in town will be very happy come Christmas time! :o)

ReplyDeleteSuch a cute card! I have been getting formula, bottles and diapers to donate to our food bank. I also collect Michaels coupons from friends that don't use them and offer them to others when I am shopping there. Many don't even know about the coupons because they don't get the flyers.
ReplyDeleteThe doggy card is adorable. Love it. I donate platelets monthly if not twice a month. I have been doing this for years. My body produces them quickly, thats why I can donate so often. I get called from the blood bank all the time to thank me. I have certificates and pins that I have received. Feels good to be able to give life to someone.

Love the puppy...I once was in line at the grocery store and the guy before me didn't have enough money to pay for his groceries. I volunteered to make up the difference but he refused. I think I hurt his feelings. *sigh* I always let people with less in their cart go before me.
ReplyDeleteThat doggy card is so adorable I love that sentiment! My RAK was i offered to pet set for my neighbor while she was on vacation. I also bake desserts and keep some for myself and give the rest away to multiple neighbors and my family too.
