Imagine Nation Monday "Gift" Challenge! - Episode~129

Good Morning My Creative Friends! Welcome to another Imagine Nation Monday Challenge! For this challenge, I decided for it to be a "Gift" challenge! It can be ANY thing you would give as a gift to someone for Christmas, birthday, baby shower, anniversary, etc....... For my "Gift" project, I decided to make a bracelet out of "Shrinky Dink" paper! This is NOT my original idea, I actually "Scraplifted" this from Paula @ More Than Favors! OMG, Paula had made the CUTEST EVER bracelet using Shrinky Dink paper! Now mine didn't come out AS bright & as nice as hers did because I used a little different paper! I ordered the paper she had used, but it did NOT arrive on time:(  But anyhow, I still think my bracelet came out SUPER cUte! In the video I showed you the process but I forgot to mention to use a 1/8" punch to punch a hole in your shape BEFORE you put it into the oven! My directions from my package said to put your over between 300-350 degrees & bake for 2 1/2-3 minutes!;) I hope you enjoy my video! The deadline to enter this challenge is on Sunday, December 5th! If you own an Imagine, PLEASE use it for this challenge! If not, make an "Imagine~Like" project using your cricut!;)

Here are 2 different views of my "Imagine" Charm Bracelet from "Snow Angel" cartridge!

Now, for my "SPECIAL GUEST" this week! I am SO SUPER EXCITING to have Miss Joy w/Joyslife join me today! I have ALWAYS admired her & her creativity so I was SUPER happy when she agreed to be my guest today! To read & see more info on her GORGEOUS "Gift" projects, you can visit Joy @ Joyslife.com & leave her some Love!;)

Emma asked me to be a Guest today for her Imagine Nation Monday series. Woo hoo! I adore Emma, so of course I said, “Yes!” I’m so glad she asked me because it gave me a reason to get back to my Imagine. I’ve left it alone for weeks and it was very sad. I used the Lori’s Garden Cricut Imagine cartridge, white cardstock, some adhesive and a $3 photo frame from Walmart to create a quick gift for my husband’s aunt who loves birds. You can see I also stuck some of the birds to one of those containers that I previously turned into a hurricane lamp. It’s perfect for adding some flowers!

I have more information and photos at http://www.joyslife.com/. Thank you for inviting me to be a part of Imagine Nation Monday. You ROCK EMMA!

  4. Emma I'm so in love with this bracelet I love snowmen. I haven't used shrinky Dink in a long time going to get my out. I was wondering they make white S-D and maybe the colors would be brighter with it. But I love the soft color on your bracelet. A little hint for you when you open your jump rings push one side away from you and the other towards you hope that make sence they go back easier. Just a little love toward you.

  9. I loved the shrinky Dink projects. Was the ink adjusted to best or could you print twice for stronger color? I thought they looked great and I want to try shrinking plastics too but don't have an imagine. Guess it will take me longer :D
