Taking time off.....

Hello my creative friends. First of all, I want to thank ALL of you for your sweet thoughts & prayers for my family. If you are not on my "My Creative Time" facebook page, I had a family emergency last week on Thursday. My son & myself were sick, but he had gotten worst so I landed up taking him to the  doctors to get fluids since he was not keeping anything down. :(  Needless to say, they ran blood work & felt that we needed to go to the ER.  We were taken care of by the best hospital staff & I was very pleased on how we were treated there. Needless to say, Baby Aaron took a turn for the worst, so he was transported by ambulance to another hospital with a better ICU. Today, nothing has changed, one moment he seems like he's getting a little better, then the next, here we go w/that HIGH fever again:(  His little body is trying to fight off something..... but WHAT?  Unfortunately since this is the weekend, we won't get any results back until tomorrow or sometime this week!
When it comes to your babies, you NEVER want to see them sick. That is the ONLY thing I don't enjoy about parenthood. For all of my Mommy's & Daddy's out there, don't you just feel like you can take all the pain & suffering away from your kids & endure it yourself? That feeling of helplessness is heartbreaking:(  I am literally typing this post at my son's bedside at the hospital:(
Who knows how long he will have to be here, but I want them to keep him until he is fixed!  I need my healthy & beautiful boy back home w/his family.

With that said, I will NOT be posting on my blog for awhile. My awesome design team will be taking over it for me. I know many of you stop by my blog & I would hate to have you stop by for nothing.  So, you will see a beautiful project made by design team along w/some "guest designers" Monday thru Friday until I return.
You never know when life throws you a curve ball:(  Who knew that last Thursday when I took my baby to the doctors that we would land up here. All I ask is that you all continue praying for my family & for everybody in this hospital who is taking care of my Baby Aaron. Yes, he is 12 years old, but I will always call him "Baby Aaron" until he is taller than me! My focus right is my family & I can't even think about crafting at the moment.

For all of you who placed orders from my store, they will ship out by the end of this week.  I apologize for the inconvenience my sweet friends. My Mom will be taking care of all orders & I promise you will all be in good hands. If you emailed me, I will get back to you by the end of the week. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me, just give me a couple of days to get back to you.
My email:  info@my-creative-time.com

Again, please keep the prayers coming, you have know idea how much they are APPRECIATED my friends. THANK YOU! Even though I won't be posting on my blog, I will keep updates on my facebook page HERE!  Thank you again for EVERYTHING & I will see you back here when I see you! BIG XOXO's to all.

I know what you mean about your "babies" and wanting to take the pain away, my older son, who is 41, has been staying with us over the past 51/2 weeks recovering from open heart surgery for a mitral valve repair. They are never too old for us to want to protect them!
