Day 3 of "Stretch Your Stamps 2" AND a "Guest Designer!"

GOOD MORNING my sweet friends & HAPPY HAPPY FRIDAY!!! :)
I don't know about "YOU", but I am SOOO READY for the weekend!  I just wanted to let you know that this has been a CRAZY, BUSY week & I will be back next week w/some videos FOR SURSIES!
Okay, for today, I have 2 cards I made from Day 3 of the class I am taking HERE! It is called "Stretch Your Stamps 2" & these classes clearly show you how to take your stamps to the next level!
For my first card, I learned this technique from the TALENTED "Miss Debby Hughes"!  She took a die cut, & did heat resisted embossing & I LOVED it! So, here is my take on it! She was using stencils for her background, but since I don't have many stencils, I created my own! :)  I used my "All Around Holiday set" (small butterfly) & my "4x4 Journal & More" (for the hearts). I ran these dies using a piece of chipboard & created a pattern for my stencil! Next, I adhered my new "handmade" stencil & used post-it tape to secure it down because I need to use the Ranger Texture Paste over it!
Next I die cut out my "Pretty Butterfly" die, then I heat embossed a sentiment I made using the smallest font in the "Alpha Pack" stamps!
Next I inked up the edges of my butterfly using Tim Holtz 'Victorian Velvet' ink! ;) Last I created the sentiment & stamped it directly onto my "Trio Stitched Banners"! Now, this card would NOT be the same w/o SEQUINS! :)

For my color neon color card, I learned this technique by watching the TALENTED "Miss Jennifer Rzasa"! All she did was grab a stamp set & mask off letters of a sentiment to create here OWN sentiment!  Sooo, that is EXACTLY what I did here! I used my set called "You Are Fabulous"! I took the sentiment "best" & just masked off the s & the t to make the word BE & paired it up w/the word AMAZING from this same set~! I white heat embossed the sentiments so the card can be BRIGHT against the black card stock! I also used my "3 Star Stitched Dies",  & the stamped patterns are from the You are Fabulous stamp set I used!

That is it for the day! I will be back latter for day 4 of the class!

Okay, NOW onto my AWESOME & TALENTED "Guest Designer!" Please meet Miss Kathleen w/Northern Girl Crafts!  Visit her blog HERE because she made LOTS of AMAZING cards for you today!

Thank you ALL for stopping by & I will see you ALL next week for a FUN FILLED CRAFTY one! NExt Friday we have a "BONUS" special day for you! I can't wait to share it!
Have a FABULOUS weekend my sweet friends! xoxo
