Tag It Tuesday, A Guest Designer & Day 1 of Stretch Your Stamps 2 Class!

GOOD MORNING my sweet friends & welcome to LOTS of STUFF today! lol….. Today is a busy day, I have LOTS to share, so lets get started!

For today's "Tag it Tuesday" my team & myself used this pretty photo as inspiration for our tags today! My tag has a "DUAL" purpose! hehehe! Today was the first day of the "Stretch Your Stamps 2" online card class so I incorporation the photo w/what I learned today in class! You can see more about this FUN class HERE & you can still sign up!

For my 1st tag, I used one of the resist techniques that Miss Kristina Werner used in one of the videos today!  I just followed along & heat embossed my cute "Spring chicken" background stamp onto some watercolor paper.  Then I used my watercolors to color the background in! I LOVE these watercolors because they are very VIBRANT~! I ended up mixing some colors to coordinate w/the photo the best I could!  I just watercolored one line across VIBRANT, then the next line I used more water & repeated it all the way down!  After I was done w/my watercoloring, I cut my finished watercoloring piece along w/black card stock using my "Stitched XL Label Die". I trimmed the watercolor piece & adhered it to the left of my tag. Next I cut a piece using my new "Fun Speech Bubble Dies"! Then I die cut the "hey" using my new "Stitched Message Bubble Dies" & adhered it directly onto the color piece!
Next I added some twine, ribbon, black eyelet, sequins & my black wink of stella marker over the 'Hey' & added glossy accents on top of that!

Here is a little pic of what the process looked like!

I had a LITTLE piece of my watercolored paper left, so I created this smaller tag using it! I didn't want all of my hard work of coloring each spot to go to waste! lol…. ;)

I didn't have enough leftover to put directly onto my tag, so I just decorated the rest of the tag using enamel dots & sequins!
