Baby Word Die

Here is my quick card I created today using the cutie "Baby Word Die!"  This was REALLY easy to make just by die cutting everything! The only stamping on this card was the word "Precious", which came from my Teeny Tag Greetings.  I drew the little dash lines using a brown sharpie marker.

My Favorite Stamp of the Month!

GOOD MORNING my sweet friends & welcome back to another "My Favorite Stamp of the Month!"  Can you even BELIEVE we are in October ALREADY??? This makes me THOROUGHLY HAPPY! lol… ;)

For my card today, I WANTED to do a video, but TRUST ME, it would've been an EXTRA long one! hehehe! I am STILL learning how to water properly! ;)  Just to water color this card, it took me 1 1 1/2 hour to complete the coloring ONLY! That's pretty sad ….Huh?  What took me the LONGEST was the background! I was NEVER satisfied with it so I came heat setting it, then add more colors a FEW times until it looked decent!  Basically, this ENTIRE card was watercolored! The ONLY thing that was not, is the base of the card!
The funny thing is that this card came to me different in my brain, but I still think it came out cute! ;)  I used my Bunch of Circle Dies to create the moon! Maybe if I keep practicing my coloring,  then I will have the nerve to do an entire card like this on video for you! ;)
I was ALSO HAPPY to FINALLY have the new Droplets in my hands to add it to my card! I think it was the BEST final touch!  You can see EVERYTHING I used in the products listed below this picture.

Manly Monday!

GOOD MORNING MY SWEET FRIENDS!!! 

I am back & it sure feels good to be back in my craft room again!  Last week was rough because I ended up getting sick & BOTH of my boys were sick as well :(  We all had miserable sinus infections :(

The only person who actually managed to stay healthy was my hubby! We are all finally feeling better except for my Baby Aaron.  He had to get a stronger antibiotic & hopefully he starts feeling back to himself SOON! ;)

Okay, now onto a new segment we will be featuring on our blogs!

Since a lot of us have a hard time creating "masculine" cards,  Miss Liz from my team thought it would be a good idea to have a "Manly Monday" to help us all out! :)

For my card today, I put this together in NO TIME at all! I just used my "You're My Hero" stamp set along w/my "3 Stitched Star" dies & kept it SUPER SIMPLE!! It was SOO HARD NOT to add anything else to it…….lol….I tried to keep it as simple as possible & I actually was REALLY HAPPY with how it turned out!

***UPDATE ON ORDERS***

I do have to admit that I was really surprised that everyone LOVED this release just as much as we did! Thrifty Thursday

Good morning my sweet creative friends! HAPPY FRIDAY "EVE"! Well, I am SOOO READY for the weekend so I am HAPPY that tomorrow is Friday!  hehehe! 

Welcome to another "Thrifty Thursday"! WOW, all I can say is that I am ALWAYS AMAZED at what you can actually do w/those scraps!  Here is a picture of my scraps that I used today! I forgot to include the little scrap that I used for the sentiment :( I like to have a few card bases in my scraps! Only because if I just use a portion of one of my card stock, I immediately make a card base for future projects so I just like to keep those handy in my binder full of scraps! That's why a lot of times my card bases are ODD sizes.…. For example this card base measures 4 x 5.25.  I just used my Fun Stitched Edge die for my piece of polka dot paper, attached it to my card base! OH, before I did that, I used a polka dot embossing folder to embossing the card base first! THEN, I adhered the pattern paper to a little less than half of my card then trimmed off the excess! THen I used my Star Dies to cut my burlap paper to make a cute embellishment.  I made my embellishment by making a double bow w/my hemp twine, hot glued that down to my larger star, then adhered the smaller star directly on top of the twine using hot glue as well! Then I added a large sequin from Teresa Collings, then adhered a little white enamel dot on top~! Last I used the smaller star as a tag to stamp my sentiment on, then I made a tiny hole using one of my punches. I ended up using these star dies as an CUTE embellishment AND for a tag on my simple card for you today!

Five Days of Christmas Day 4

Hello & welcome to our "5" Days of Christmas"! This week we will be sharing w/you LOTS of last minute Christmas ideas, such as cards, layouts, home decor, 3-D items & what ever else comes to mind that will help YOU get your juices flowing for the holiday! There will be a giveaway each day & a winner will be announced each day! Example, winner of Monday will be announced on Tuesday, winner of Tuesday will be announced on Wednesday.....and so on!

Today, I decided to use my We R Memory Keeper Box Punch Board! It was a little "challenging" for me, but I think my boxes came out pretty decent! lol..... I will not be showing how to make this in my video because I am still learning & I want to practice a little more! ;) I just explain everything in my video below!  For my first box, it came out exactly how I wanted it to! I was SUPER EXCITED to use my NEW Star dies to make my cute tags for each box! I layered them on top of my rosette die & I LOVE how it came out! Also, my medium bow die works BEAUTIFULLY w/this size box! I made the boxes that called for 8x8 size paper!

Okay, this next box, I have NO IDEA how it came out to be "this" rectangle-ish shape! lol..... Like I said, I had NO IDEA WHAT I was doing, but I just kept it because I was tired of trashing GOOD paper away! ;)

 

Here you can see how I layered all 3 stars together & I used pop dots to pop them up & just add the teeny tag layering die for my sentiment! I had fun making my little embellished tags for both of these boxes! I think once I practice a little more on how to make these, I KNOW they can be mass produced in "NO TIME" at all!
