Five Days of Christmas Day 4

Hello & welcome to our "5" Days of Christmas"! This week we will be sharing w/you LOTS of last minute Christmas ideas, such as cards, layouts, home decor, 3-D items & what ever else comes to mind that will help YOU get your juices flowing for the holiday! There will be a giveaway each day & a winner will be announced each day! Example, winner of Monday will be announced on Tuesday, winner of Tuesday will be announced on Wednesday.....and so on!
You will see the different prizes HERE each day! I hope we ALL inspire you this week!

Today, I decided to use my We R Memory Keeper Box Punch Board! It was a little "challenging" for me, but I think my boxes came out pretty decent! lol..... I will not be showing how to make this in my video because I am still learning & I want to practice a little more! ;) I just explain everything in my video below!  For my first box, it came out exactly how I wanted it to! I was SUPER EXCITED to use my NEW Star dies to make my cute tags for each box! I layered them on top of my rosette die & I LOVE how it came out! Also, my medium bow die works BEAUTIFULLY w/this size box! I made the boxes that called for 8x8 size paper!

Okay, this next box, I have NO IDEA how it came out to be "this" rectangle-ish shape! lol..... Like I said, I had NO IDEA WHAT I was doing, but I just kept it because I was tired of trashing GOOD paper away! ;)

Here you can see how I layered all 3 stars together & I used pop dots to pop them up & just add the teeny tag layering die for my sentiment! I had fun making my little embellished tags for both of these boxes! I think once I practice a little more on how to make these, I KNOW they can be mass produced in "NO TIME" at all!

 Supplies used for both boxes

Here is my video for you today!

Designer Challenge ~ Hosted by Miss Katie

Hi!  It's Katie, from Crafting with Katie, and I'm super excited to be hosting the Designer Challenge today!  My challenge to you is to make winter holiday tags using some My Creative Time products!  That could mean Christmas, Hanukkah, New Year's, etc.  Feel free to make one tag or even a set, like I did today!

All of my tag shapes today were made with the MCT Tag Dies, and the patterned paper is from Simple Stories December Documented.  For this tag, I made a cute pocket using a die from Fun Pockets and filled it with ornaments made with the dies from Warm Holiday Fun.  I heat embossed my sentiment with silver embossing powder.  The first part of the sentiment is from Fun Pockets, and "Holiday Fun" is from Warm Holiday Fun.

For this sweet little tag, I used a Heart House Paper Clip from Simon Says Stamp along with my favorite little hearts from MCT's Stitched Heart Layering Dies.  The sentiment, which matches my little house perfectly, is from Mixed Holiday Sentiments

I dressed up my last tag with some fun hexagons made with the Stitched Hexy Dies.  The sentiment is another sweet one from Mixed Holiday Sentiments, and my paper pieced cocoa mug was made with a stamp from Do the Cocoa Motion.

Finally, to hold my little set of tags, I made one of my favorite little bags that I learned how to make in Kerri Bradford's Hello There Silhouette class.  I used the Build a Chevy Background Stamps to stamp it with some festive chevrons.  Then I decorated it with a ticket made with a Stitched Fun Tickets Die and Holiday Tickets, a paper pieced stocking made with a stamp from Warm Holiday Fun, and a cute little postmark made with Postcard Add-Ons and dies from the Build a Banner Kit.

If you haven't seen it yet, I've created a PDF catalogue of all of the My Creative Time products.  I use this a TON for projects like today's, since I can search for specific sentiments that I'm looking for.  You can download it by clicking the link at the top right of my blog and then use it either on your computer or tablet.  It's very handy having it on my iPad!

Are you ready to make some tags and join in the challenge?  I'd love to see what you create!  But first, check out what my awesome design team sisters have created for you.  You will be inspired!
