MCT "Whatever Wednesday!"

GOOD MORNING my sweet friends & welcome back to another "Whatever Wednesday!" 

Today is the day that my team & I create whatever we want! ;)  

So, I've been wanting to use this set for a while now so today was the PERFECT day! :) 

Before I go on, I had intentions on doing a video for you :(  When your son comes in your craft room at the last minute to let you know that he needs school supplies, then you must drop what you're doing! lol..... It was my son's first day back yesterday from winter break & he has started a whole new set of classes so that's why he needed new supplies!  I ALWAYS....ALWAYS.... have extra composition books / spiral notebooks, at least I THOUGHT I did, but I guess they used them all! 

So luckily Target stays open LATE....THANKFULLY! 

I will have a video for you tomorrow for sure! ;)  

So for my card, I just used the supplies listed below!  As for the Postage Frame Dies, those will be back in stock in 2 weeks!  So if you have been waiting for those, you might want to check back at my store in 2 weeks :)  This card was perfect to make because someone needed a wedding card with my FAVORITE red colors so that's why I went with this particular design today! :)

Five Days of Christmas Day 3

Hello & welcome to our "5" Days of Christmas"! This week we will be sharing w/you LOTS of last minute Christmas ideas, such as cards, layouts, home decor, 3-D items & what ever else comes to mind that will help YOU get your juices flowing for the holiday! There will be a giveaway each day & a winner will be announced each day! Example, winner of Monday will be announced on Tuesday, winner of Tuesday will be announced on Wednesday.....and so on!

Today I decided to create a card that I "think" can be mass produced quickly! I think if you do all of your cuts, put together your boots, let boots dry overnight OR the same day, then just adhere everything together! You can see in my video below how I made the little Santa boots! I thought it would  be cute to use my Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher to staple the top of my notebook page directly to my card!

 I am SUPER EXCITED to be a part of this SUPER FUN hop! I was crushed that I missed the last Peachy Hop, but I made sure I didn't miss it this time around! ;) I have 2 projects for you today using the "November Stamp Kit of the Month"! I LOVE making tags, so that is exactly what I made using this FUN stamp set! 

My First tag I used my Tag Die & I "tried" to be a little "fancy"! hehehe! I used clear embossing powder & heat embossed onto my tag, then I just used a few of Tim Holz's inks to ink up my tag! I was trying to get that resist look to it! Then I stamped my snowman directly onto my tag, then I stamped it again, cut it out & popped it up! I used copics to color him in! For the snow, I added Liquid Applique & to make it look fluffy, I used my heat gun! To finish it off, I added clear chunky glitter & the ribbon!

Next I wanted to make another tag using my Postage Stitch Die! I just layered the tag a FEW times to make the frame look a "little" like chipboard! Then I pop dotted that ADORABLE stocking from the PKS NOV SOTM, then I stamped the sentiment onto my vellum banner, then popped that right on top of the stocking. I used that liquid appliqué again for the stocking along w/some chunky clear glitter from Joann's. I layered my 2 bow dies together on top of each other & finished it off w/some jute!

Thrifty Thursday

Good morning my creative friends & welcome to another "Thrifty Thursday"! Well, today I am continuing w/my teacher gifts! Today, I made Anthony's 3 teachers a card that fits a gift card on the inside! You can see in my video below exactly how I made this "step by step"!  I could've used my Gift Card Holder Die but since I was only making 3 items today, I wanted to show you a cute way to use your burlap! I will definitely be using my Gift Card Holder Die tomorrow since I have to make a total of 9 of them! Yep, Baby Aaron has 6 teachers plus Anthony's 3! I like to give the teachers a little something each day for the entire "Teacher Appreciation Week!" Since Baby Aaron has 6 teachers, he decided to just give them all something on last day of the week, which works for me! hehehehe!;)  

So, each of Anthony's teachers is getting a gift card to "Peet's Coffee"!

MCT April Sneak Peek #1

GOOD MORNING my sweet creative friends & welcome to our first day of our "April Sneaky Peeks"! There is SOOO MUCH to see so let's get right to it!!! :) 

Today my AWESOME design team & myself are showcasing a new set called "You're Brilliant".

This new set includes 20 stamps & a coordinating light bulb die! This is such a FUN set....I just LOVE it!  For my first card, I used one of my existing dies, the "Stitched Postage Frame" which I think framed my lightbulb just PERFECTLY!;) All 3 sentiments are included in this new set, along w/that cute die!

For my next card, I wanted to keep it simple so you can see how AWESOME the stamps are! When I design my stamps, I TRY to come up w/different fonts that "somewhat" go w/my theme of stamps. I don't like to use the same font all the time, I like to switch it up!;) This sentiment,  the cute small light bulb & the heart that is on the inside of the bulb are all from this new set! I used a black marker & drew the little dotted lines myself to almost make my little light bulb look like it's "shining". hehehe!
