Inspiration Wednesday

GOOD MORNING my creative friends & welcome to another "Inspiration Wednesday!" Can you believe I actually made a card for you today! :) Feeling PROUD!
First of all, before I tell you about my card, I want to show you my inspiration picture. It is from my design team member "Miss Katie!"  When I saw her card, I just KNEW I wanted to make one too! Keep in mind, this was my very FIRST time doing this watercolor thing, so mine didn't quite turn out "watercolorish" like Miss Katie's did! CLEARLY I need practice, but I kept it & didn't want to waste it! I know that I messed up because I should have brushed water onto my card stock first~! I saw that on Kristina Werner's video.  But all in all, I can live w/how it came out! :)
First I heat embossed everything onto my water color paper using white embossing powder! Next I "watercolored" onto it & heat dried it.  Last popped up a button & used pop up tape to attach it to the base of my card!

Here is what my card looks like in it's entirety!

MCT products used:

Other products used:
~ Mowed lawn ink
~ Salty ocean ink
~ base of card White card stock from Papertrey ink

Made in Minutes

GOOD MORNING my sweet friends & welcome to another "Made in Minutes!"  Today I have a simple card that ONLY took me 10 minutes to make! I probably could've finished quicker, but I discovered that I didn't have a matching blue button for the blue camera :( Sooo, I just grabbed a white button & colored it using my "BG49" Copic marker & now it matches! ;) This is just one of the many reasons why I love my copic markers! I just need to use them more often!
For my card I just stamped it using my "Build a Chevy" background, then adhered the camera on directly onto my card. I popped up the middle camera. Then I just colored my cameras using the Wink of Stella glitter! OH, then I just stamped the sentiment on my card from "Camera Shy!"

MCT products used:
~ Stitched Camera Die
~ Build A Chevy Background
~ Camera Shy

Other items used:
~ Hero Arts "Splash" chalk ink
~ Hero Arts "Butter Bar" mid-tone shadow ink

Feb 11 – Try Me Tuesday

Good morning my sweet friends & welcome to another "Try Me Tuesday"! For this "Try Me" Tuesday, will will be using a "double stamping" technique.  Basically, we are all just stamping, then stamping something directly on top! I used my Chevy Background stamp to make my pattern paper! After I stamped using the pink & gray colors, then I used black ink to stamp another chevy line directly onto the gray parts!
Using the same black ink, I just stamped the cute little heart hands & the sentiment "LOVE" from my Lots of Love stamp set~! Lastly added the ribbon, hemp twine & my flowers. I used the small & the medium size flowers from my Flower Petal Dies.
I guess I could've added more to my tag, but I tried not to otherwise I might have covered up my double stamping~! ;)

Supplies used:

I am SUPER EXCITED to be a part of this SUPER FUN hop! I was crushed that I missed the last Peachy Hop, but I made sure I didn't miss it this time around! ;) I have 2 projects for you today using the "November Stamp Kit of the Month"! Go HERE for more information about the "Stamp Kit of the Month"!

I LOVE making tags, so that is exactly what I made using this FUN stamp set!
My First tag I used my Tag Die & I "tried" to be a little "fancy"! hehehe! I used clear embossing powder & heat embossed onto my tag, then I just used a few of Tim Holz's inks to ink up my tag! I was trying to get that resist look to it! Then I stamped my snowman directly onto my tag, then I stamped it again, cut it out & popped it up! I used copics to color him in! For the snow, I added Liquid Applique & to make it look fluffy, I used my heat gun! To finish it off, I added clear chunky glitter & the ribbon!

Supplies used:
~ May Arts Ribbon
~ Tim Holtz Inks
~ Liquid Applique

Next I wanted to make another tag using my Postage Stitch Die! I just layered the tag a FEW times to make the frame look a "little" like chipboard! Then I pop dotted that ADORABLE stocking from the PKS NOV SOTM, then I stamped the sentiment onto my vellum banner, then popped that right on top of the stocking. I used that liquid appliqué again for the stocking along w/some chunky clear glitter from Joann's. I layered my 2 bow dies together on top of each other & finished it off w/some jute!

Supplies used:
~ My Mind's Eye Mistletoe Magic 6x6 paper pad
~ Graphic 45 12 Days of Christmas 6x6 paper pad
