Inspiration Wednesday!

GOOD MORNING my sweet friends & welcome to another "Inspiration Wednesday!" 

Today I was inspired by my brand new inks that rang my doorbell yesterday! ;) hehe!

I am IN LOVE w/the NEW color ink for January by Tim Holtz & the color is called "Pistachio".

I think this color is SOOO PRETTY & soft! I just used the ink pad & smushed it onto my craft mat & used it as a watercolor background for my card!

Here is my card in it's entirety! 

To finish off my card, I stamped the sentiment using archival black in. Then I cut out my Flower Petal Dies, added some Sugar Coating Chunky Glitter with glossy accents! Then I tucked the flower into my pocket die from my Fun Pockets Stamp & Die set!  Lastly I added the little butterfly die & added a teeny heart to the butterfly & adhered it to the pocket!

December 3 ~ “5 Days of Christmas”

GOOD MORNING my sweet friends & welcome to our 3rd day of our 5 Days of Christmas! 

Unfortunately, I have been w/o an internet connection!! :( So I am doing this post w/my IPad! I do have a video showing EXACTLY how I created these tags from beginning to end! Apparently my internet service told me that we will be back up & running at 5am! (I HOPE!!) Please check back later this morning for my video! 

I just LOVE how my tags came out! I cannot wait to make MORE because I decided these are the tags I will be using for gifts this year!  These tags are simple & cute! I promise that they look WAAAY BETTER in person! I just couldn't get a PERFECT pic of them :(

INSPIRATION WEDNESDAY

GOOD MORNING my creative friends & welcome to another "Inspiration Wednesday!"

For today I have a FUN inspiration! ;) This is a picture of the inside of the GHIRADELLI CHOCOLATE FACTORY! YEP, this is my boys' FAVORITE ice cream in the whole world! I can't even offer them 31 flavors anymore because they say "Ghiradelli has the REAL ice cream!" I have to say, that I NEVER argue w/them about that! lol…… If you look to the left of the clock, there is a beautiful picture of at hot fudge sundae! hehehe!

Well, back to my tag, I was inspired by this brick wall & clock.  I know my tag has nothing to do w/ice cream, but I thought it would be fun to make a window & stamp a clock inside showing it at 5:00! Basically it kinda goes w/the saying "It's 5 o'clock somewhere!" hehehe! 

So I created this tag using my brick stencil along w/my NEW FAVE Texture Paste, then inked it all up w/my TH Aged Mahogony & Vintage Photo inks! Next I cut a window using my Bunch of Fun Circle Dies & stamped the clock using my All Around Birthday Time stamp set onto another tag die! (this is the time I WISH we had a layer for this die) :( 

Any who, next I stamped the sentiment onto some vellum, cut out w/my Scallop die! Next I added the glasses cut out using silver paper & my All Around Holidays set! Last I used my Rolled Flower Die w/the CUTE silver leaves & added sequins, sheer ribbon & black twine! This was REALLY fun to make & I LOVE how well this paste took to the inks!!!

Five Days of Christmas ~ Day 1

Hello & welcome to our "5" Days of Christmas"! This week we will be sharing w/you LOTS of last minute Christmas ideas, such as cards, layouts, home decor, 3-D items & what ever else comes to mind that will help YOU get your juices flowing for the holiday! Scrapping the little things!

GOOD MORNING my sweet creative friends! I hope you ALL had a FABULOUS weekend! Well, it looks like things are back to normal at my home this week! BOTH of my both are feeling TONS BETTER & are back to school! I sure do miss them :( 

For today, I wanted to do a page in my smashbook. You can see below ALL the MCT products I used for my page! These are pictures from our "low key" Halloween. This is probably the FIRST year we did not trick or treat since both of my boys were sick.  We stayed in for the night & I tried to make the best of it for them! I ordered a pumpkin shaped pizza for them, set the table & we all had little cupcake holders filled with gummy bears & some filled with M&M's! Remember those cute little Halloween glasses I decorated HERE?  Well the boys & even my hubby were happy to use them for this special night! We watched a couple of Halloween movies & ended our night w/our FAVORITE pumpkin pie (thanks to my parents)!  Before my boys went to bed that night, they both thanked me for making a FUN HALLOWEEN for them! ;) That TOTALLY made my heart smile.....it's the little things.....! Even though they were sick & could not trick or treat, they appreciated what we did here at home! LOVE my boys! 

Also, before I go, for my picture, I printed it out using my little Selphy Printer which I LOVE~!!! This is how I was able to make a little collage w/our halloween pictures!
