Inspiration Wednesday & my homework for "Clean & Simple 4" online card class!

GOOD MORNING my sweet friends & welcome to another "Inspiration Wednesday!"
For my card card today, I was inspired by the talented Miss Shari Carroll!  She is one of the teachers for the "Clean & Simple 4" online card class & she did a technique by die cutting an image out of fun foam & using it as a stamp!  I adhered the die cut to an acrylic block, inked it up & stamped it directly to my card! Using that same foam that I inked up, I removed it from my acrylic block then adhered it slightly on top of the stamped butterfly! Next I used the smaller butterfly die & just cut it out using the same fun foam, but just kept it white!  I added some wink of stella to all 3 of my butterflies! I used some gold/bronzey paint & flicked a tiny bit of splatters on to my card.  I added 3 different kinds of washi tape to the right edge of my card & this is what Miss Shari did to her card & I LOVED that touch! Before I adhered that front panel to the base of my card, I used some gold/bronzey thread, tied it around a few times & made a simple bow~!  I used my Label Font stamp set & stamped out HELLO using that same ink I used for the butterflies which was Simon Says AUDREY BLUE! Then I used some clear embossing powder on top of the sentiment to give it a little shine, then layered it on top of a gold card stock! Last, but certainly not least, I added sequins!

Scrapping the Little Things

Good morning my creative friends!  I hope you ALL had a FABULOUS weekend! Welcome to another "Scrapping the little things"! Today we have some SUPER FUN pages for you!

I decided to go ahead & do another page in my smash book! For my page today I focused on the "Day before school"!  It's "TRADITION" that my boys get EXTRA SPOILED the day before they go back to school! My hubby always reminds me the day before to make sure I take them out! Which we NEVER forget! ;) I take them to their FAVORITE places~! First up on the agenda, was they LOVE Ghiradelli Chocolate Factory (which "I" do TOO!) hehehe! They wanted dessert BEFORE lunch! So that is exactly what we did! Baby Aaron had his usual Sundae, but he ordered it a bit different this time! Anthony ordered his milkshake & of course I had my "usual" a banana split! ;) I have to treat myself too...right? :) So we hung out there, then we headed to Barnes & Noble! Okay, I do have to say that I don't have your "typical boys"!  I know if I were to ask my nephews where would THEY want to go for fun, they would FOR SURE say the Park!  But not my Baby Aaron & Anthony, they ALWAYS pick to go to Barnes & Noble! Hey, I don't mind AT ALL! I am just SOOO LUCKY & BLESSED that BOTH of my boys ENJOY reading SOOO MUCH!  They told me not to ever get them a kindle because it would NOT be the same to them! In "my opinion" I have to agree w/them 100%! There is NOTHING like holding your book & turning the pages yourself!  But I do know ALOT of people who do prefer the kindle over a book because it's easier for storage purposes!
We usual spend "at least" 2 hours at Barnes & Noble.  Since we had a late start this day, it was almost dinner time, so the boys chose to go to their FAVORITE burrito place! So we picked up the burritos to go so my hubby can enjoy his burrito w/us when he got home from work!
You can see a list of products I used right below this pic!

Scrapping The Little Things

Good morning my creative friends & welcome to another:

First things first, I hope you all had a FABULOUS weekend! For me, it was bittersweet because my hubby is returning back to work today after being home w/us since December. He had injured his knee at work & had to have surgery so that's why he was w/us. My boys & myself are sure going to miss him like CRAZY! Even though he was injured, we all made the best of it & really ENJOYED having him home w/us. :(
Well, I guess now I will be back to my regular routine, if I can remember it! ;)
For my page today, I just HAD to use this BEAUTIFUL picture of my hubby & my boys. For one of my hubby's father's day gifts, we had taken him to see the "Man of Steel". Wow, what an AWESOME movie from beginning to end....we all loved it!  My Mom had gotten all 3 of them these cute shirts & I thought it was PERFECT that they wore them to see this movie. Of course, it was a "Kodak" moment...lol.... I just had to get a picture of all three of them w/their matching t-shirts! I thought this was the PERFECT picture to add to my smashbook!  I will later add the ticket stub to this as well, as soon as I find it! ;)

In my video below, I explained how I put this together! You can see the list of supplies I used right below this!

Supplies used:

3-D Wednesday

Good morning my creative friends & welcome to another 3-D Wednesday! I had a question from someone who wanted an idea for a graduation invite! Soooo, since my Baby Aaron will be graduating as well, I'd thought I would come up w/something perfect for a boy! You can see in my video below exactly how this was made step by step!

I put the date at the bottom for the date that needs to be saved & instead of sending a separate invite, I decide to just go ahead & put all of the info on the back of each tag!

Since I will be hand delivering most of these, I thought they would look awesome to give in these super cute little glassine bags from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique!  I am very proud of how these turned out! ;)
